Story
Tugboat is an absolute sweetheart! While he's a little over 9 months old, he still gets bursts of puppy energy and LOVES to play. Once he's burned off most of his energy, he turns into a total lovebug and just wants to snuggle and be as close to you as possible. Tugboat does great with other dogs, and we think he would do fine with cats as well (as long as he is given a slow, proper intro). He's been around a few kiddos and did great with them. He can be VERY excited when he first meets new people but quickly calms down. He's a very smart boy and a quick learner. He'll make a fantastic addition to his new family!

Story
This dog is a courtesy listing for one of our rescue partners Allen county animal rescue facility. They are a rural animal control shelter near Iola KS. Many dogs are brought to their facility after being found as strays, dumped, surrendered, or brought in by the city. However, because they are in such a rural town, they have a very small pool of adopters and have a hard time finding homes for the dogs in the shelter. Our promise as their rescue partner is that should someone apply through us, we will handle any transportation needed to get the dog to their forever home, we will assist with home visits, dog intros and anything needed to help get these dogs out of the shelter and into loving homes. Please fill out our online dog adoption application if you are interested in adopting this pet. Landry is 3 years old, 82 pounds, neutered, up to date on all necessary vetting.  Meet Landry! Landry is the biggest baby you'll ever meet. He is 82 pounds in the physical world, but his soul is 10 pounds. He is a lover and wants to be wherever his people are. Landry does well with people, though can be shy at first, as well as other dogs! No cats for this fella, though. Truly, this snuggle bug would love to be your new best friend. If he sounds like your kind of guy, apply to meet him!April 26, 2024, 4:02 pm
