Disclaimer: I'm currently soaking up the Texas sun, but the great news is that I can be transported to my forever home once adopted, and the transport fee is $230.My journey began when I was surrendered, along with my four precious puppies, because my family couldn't provide the care I needed. I'm a bundle of energy and an incredible jumper! My foster mom thinks I have all the potential to excel in agility training courses. While I absolutely adore the company of other dogs, I'm not a fan of being on my own, so a home with a calmer dog would be a perfect fit to help me settle. I'm a social butterfly who cherishes my human companions and still carries that puppy-like spirit in my heart. In my previous home, I was raised alongside three children, aged 8 to 16, so I'm sure to thrive in an energetic family environment. If you're looking for a furry friend who's ready to embark on adventures with you, look no further. Apply today and let's make a fantastic team!*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Story
A recent change in environment has driven this rehome. Gus has been trying to get along with his brother and sister for the last 6 months but just can't make it work. He should be homed in a place where he is the only animal. He already has experience being in a one pet household and it worked perfectly. He is crate trained, potty trained, and was able to be left to roam free all day with no issues. He knows several basic commands (sit, stay, heel, wait, kennel, drop it, leave it) and walks well on a leash with a body harness. Outside of his home he does interact well with children, other dogs, and other people. Inside his home, other pets are a no go and children are an unknown.

I am a great medium size weighing 58 lbs.  I am 11 months old so I should be all done growing. Loves balls , treat motivated, active and loves the outdoors . Great with other dogs- loves to play with them all! While I am a happy boy- I am not a jumper. I am not a big barker but when the other dogs start barking I do join in.  I am doing well on the leash and only pulling sometimes. I am mildly interested in toys. People that have spent time with me describe me as outgoing, happy go lucky, and fun!Prior to adoption, I will be spayed, vaccinated, health checked, dewormed, and micro-chipped. Adoption Fee: $600 +taxes/feesIf you would like to meet me please fill out a pre-adoption application at www.tailsrescue.orgHappy Tails Adoption Center is open on Sundays from 12-5pm. Please fill out a pre-adoption application so we know you are interested in meeting/adopting one of our animals.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.The breeds of our dogs and cats are a 'best guess.' We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a 'full grown size' of many of our younger animals.Interested in adopting me? Story
Location: Brooklyn Park, MN Hi there! My name is Shandy, and I am your typical collie mix! I LOVE to play outside and frisbees and tennis balls are my favorite toys. I could chase them for hours :) You probably noticed in some of my photos that I only have 3 legs, it's part of my charm and doesn't slow me down at all! Although I love to play outside, I also love to snuggle up on the couch and am good at understanding when it's time to relax. The best thing about me- I am AMAZING in my kennel and don't mind going in their for short naps, for sleeping overnight, and when my foster parents are gone. My foster mom says I am such a smart girl, and already know some basic commands. I love to learn new things and make my foster parents happy with listening to them. I would be a really fantastic candidate for a therapy dog or other cool things like agility and frisbee work. Did my mom mention I am super smart? Oh yeah, she did. :) My new family should know that I do need exercise and mental stimulation daily just based on my breed. Exercise will help me continue to be the most perfect girl! I am working on potty training, I am definitely potty trained on a schedule I am just not sure how to tell people I need to go outside yet! Given my nature, I would probably be good with kids as long as they will play with me :) I live with other dogs currently, and like to tell them who's boss so I should only go to a home with another dog that is submissive and respects my boundaries. I don't mind seeing dogs on walks etc, my biggest thing is just that they respect my space and can take my queues :) I also live with kitties, they are really used to dogs so like to rub on me and don't run even when I am trying to play. A home with cats that will run from me might not be the best fit, since I am a herding breed. But cats that don't mind dogs would be just fine :) If you're looking for an adventure partner who loves to be by your side, and is the most well behaved girl, I am the one for you! Apply to meet me :) ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Prior Lake, MN Furry best friend alert! I would love to be your loyal companion. I am mid-to-low energy 1.5 y/o puppy that will be so happy to just lay around in the same room as you. I will also be thrilled to see you every time you get home! If work during the day, that is just fine with me! I'm very content to nap on a doggy bed when you are gone; no table surfing for me! I AM a dog, so of course I enjoy walks and getting outside! But I don't NEED a fence if you'll bring me for a walk most days. Oh and my foster mom says to share that I am fully potty trained. I haven't had ANY accidents at my foster's house! I am currently the only dog in the home, but I have lived with other dogs. Like all fosters pups, slow intros to others are probably best. I do especially well with children 9 & up. (Lots of movement from the smaller youngsters, especially if it's above me, makes me a tad nervous.) I should probably mention the only time I really bark is when the TV is on. I don't love the TV right now. My foster family laughs about it and they are working on it. I'm making slow progress. If you are looking for a content dog that is happy to just be loved by their owner, I'm your girl! I have so much love to give a single person, couple, or family; I'm not picky! Please consider me for adoption. Thank you! ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
