Joyful. Smiley. Gentle. Silly. If you're looking for a dog who brightens your day simply by being herself, you found her! I'm Lassie, a 10-year-old, 48# Border Collie and Australian Shepherd mix (best guess), and I'm proof that growing older means you appreciate the good things in life. My theme song is "Happy" by Pharrell Williams. Once you meet me, you'll understand why! I love a nice, leisurely walk, followed by a fluffy dog bed where I can stretch out and relax. I'm also an enthusiastic fan of pets, attention, and giving kisses to my favorite people. My foster family says I'm the perfect dog! I read the room like a pro: my fun, puppy-like energy comes out when it's time to play. Laying low while you're busy is no problem at all. I'm easy-peasy. My ideal home is peaceful with a family who enjoys staying close to home and believes in getting out for daily exercise. Short strolls are my favorite - I'm an amazing walking companion. Traffic, strange noises, and other dogs do not bother me. My fosters have taken me on outings to a parade and a brewery, and I got an A+ at both events! I could happily live with another calm dog or be your one-and-only. Best in a home without kitties or small animals I would interact with (chickens, ducks). Gentle, calm children could be part of my family, too. A fenced yard would be wonderful but its not a requirement. I want to be near my people, only outside if they are with me. You can leave me loose in the house without worrying. My fosters are helping me lose a few remaining extra pounds - boy do I feel good! You might notice I got a big haircut. That was part of the 'feel better' plan too - my mats are gone! One of my pictures shows my beautiful coat that will grow back soon. If you're looking for a sweet companion who appreciates quiet days, comfortable beds, gentle affection, and little adventures, I might be your girl. My forever family will gain a little happiness every single day because I have plenty to give away! Lassie is being fostered in Savage, MN. At just 18 months old and around 40# (plus a whole lot of fluff!), Marco is an adorable Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix (our best guess). He is a loyal, slightly clumsy and utterly lovable Velcro dog, happiest wherever his people are. With lovely medium energy, Marco is always up for playing and doing things with his family. He is equally happy relaxing in the yard, soaking up the sunshine while watching his favorite show, Bunny TV. Cuddling with his humans is another favorite pastime. He discovered the joy of toys, and his goofy play style is downright adorable. Marco can be shy when meeting new people. He prefers to take his time, observe, think things over, and then decide when he's ready to approach. Once he feels safe, his sweet personality shines. Patience, kindness, and allowing him to move at his own pace are key to building his confidence and winning his trust. The ideal family for this handsome lad will help him become more confident without sheltering him from the world. He wants to explore, experience new things, and expand his horizons. He loves being outdoors and loves going for walks. A securely fenced yard would be amazing: he would love a safe place to explore and gain faith in himself. Marco does well with the cats in his foster home, simply ignoring them. We know from his prior home that he cannot live with free-range chickens. Sheffy is ready to find his perfect match! He’s a strikingly handsome 2-3 yr old, 39# Border Collie mix. Affectionate, curious, observant, and deeply connected to his people, Sheffy pays attention to everything. Hi, my name is Trinity and I am from Arkansas! From her foster: Trinity is VERY sweet and gentle, shy and loves to stick to one person (but warms up to others with some patience), is good with other dogs (low energy/non intrusive dogs would be best), is making lots of progress getting comfortable in her kennel, sleeps through the night in kennel, low energy right now (heart worm positive). We are working on potty training! She isn’t very sure what to do once she’s outside. I think her accidents inside are because she is a bit too uncomfortable outside to settle into a potty. I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and strict rest/restricted activity. My adoption can take place during treatment, while TBB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family.

Hello! My name is Tommy! I am about 1.5 years old. I look like I could be a border collie staffy mix, but I’m not 100% sure what breeds are in my doggie family tree. What I can tell you: I’m a perfect medium sized guy with a massive zest for life! I give every activity 110% Walks? Love them! Zoomies in the yard? Yes please! Food, YAS! Cuddles- here I come!!!! I currently live with 3 dogs and I’ve lived well with cats. I get along with all types of dogs, I really love to play and romp around with canine friends. I walk well on a leash, I am crate trained, and now, with my new structure and I am potty trained too! My foster mom is so happy with how easy I am to train, I really just want to make my humans happy. I am a bit of a ladies man and I love all kids! Sometimes it takes me just a little bit to warm up to some men, but treats helps me know he is ok. My ideal home will be with someone who is willing to continue and likes training - I promise I make it fun because I like to learn and work. She absolutely thrives in a home with other dogs. She loves to play, wrestle, and then curl up for cozy naps with her canine friends. Her best friend is a cat named Hector and in a new home (and proper introductions) Elsie can adjust to cats with a little time and patience. This sweet girl is deeply devoted to her people. She wants to be by your side through everything, whether you’re relaxing on the couch, working around the house, or even trying to load the dishwasher (she insists on supervising!). Personal space? She’s currently working on loose leash walking and does great when given guidance and focus cues like “watch me” or “easy.” At home, she loves zooming around the yard, watching squirrels, playing in the hose, and stretching out into her signature “frog dog” pose. Elsie does have a sensitive side and is looking for a confident, patient home that will help her feel safe and supported. She can be a little wary of new people, but with really yummy treats, proper introductions and consistency, she warms up and becomes affectionate (face kisses included!). Because of this, she’ll do best with a family that can advocate for her space and provide structure when guests visit. Elsie is kennel trained (she’ll happily go in when you say “kennel” or “dinner”) and does best eating separately.
