Hi, my name is Magnum and I am from Arkansas! From his foster: Magnum (we call him Max) is one of the smartest pups you’ll ever meet. He’s only about 10 weeks old and he learned “sit” and “touch” commands in less than 5 minutes! Days later, he’s still reliably able to follow both commands perfectly! He’s also learned to wear a harness and walk on a leash. His potty training is going very well and he sits by the door to go out. He has puppy energy and is teething and still manages to be a very good boy. Through it all, his intelligence has served him well and he has so much potential to be the best dog ever! Boarder Collie mix pups have loads of energy! Magnum (Max) we’ll need plenty of exercise. He’s food motivated and learns very quickly. It’s important to continue with training and keep this smart puppy engaged to be his best self. I don’t think he has experience with cats or young children. He plays with his brother, but might be timid with larger dogs. A fenced yard would be great, but walks on a harness/leash would work too.

Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and rest/restricted activity.
