Blaze is a 54#, 5-year-old Border Collie with a sunny personality and a zest for life that's as bright as a perfect summer day. He thinks every day should include a game of fetch or frisbee and plenty of time spent with his favorite people. Happy-go-lucky, affectionate, and adventurous, Blaze loves being part of the action, whether that's a morning walk, a trip to the park, or a backyard barbecue. His energy level is a wonderful balance: he's always ready for fun and activity, and he's equally happy to relax and enjoy downtime with his family afterward. Blaze would thrive with an active, herding breed-experienced family that appreciates both his intelligence and enthusiasm. He walks beautifully on leash without pulling and is well-socialized in the world. He's crate trained and keeps four on the floor. He knows a few basic obedience commands and wants to learn more. With his smarts, a little time and some good treats, and we bet he can learn anything! A fenced yard would be ideal for Blaze so he has room to stretch his legs and enjoy his favorite games. We are located in Minnesota and adopt to an area 400 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul.

He's incredibly gentle, wonderful with kids, and has a loving personality that makes him an easy companion. He gets along well with cats too, although he may occasionally try to convince them to play like they're fellow dogs! His favorite toy is his yellow ducky pull toy, and if you're looking for the quickest way to become his best friend, give him scratches on his lower tummy or thighs. He'll happily melt into a puddle of appreciation. Sven came from a farm, and while he doesn't necessarily need acreage, he would thrive in a home with people to shower him with attention and affection. Hi, my name is Linguini and I am from Arkansas! Linguini is a sweet and eager to please pup, with a helicopter tail wag and adorable satellite ears. He loves people - his family, visitors, people he meets on the street - he feels everyone is deserving of tail wags and kisses. Linguini is also a big fan of other dogs, and would be happy to have a playmate at home, and would likely enjoy daycare or playgroups. He has been very tolerant of our cats (although he can’t believe they don’t want to play with him). I believe he would also do well with children - he does still have puppy energy, so he can be jumpy and mouthy when he’s excited, but is easily redirected with a toy. Linguini has very good house manners (aside from some counter-surfing and shoe stealing), and will settle in his crate at bedtime and while we are away from home.

Hi, my name is Wally and I am from Georgia! Wally is a curious and cautious dog. He is friendly and enjoys playing with my 1-year-old puppy. He likes to lay on the bottom of the cat tree and enjoys going on walks. He is very quiet. Wally's favorite toys so far are soft bones and squeaky toys! He enjoys his crate. From the Vet: Wally is currently under-going treatment for increased eye pressures. While the treatment started with our BB Medical Team is going well, we have a definitive cause for his condition, so we are electing to refer him to a veterinary ophthalmologist for a more complete diagnosis and management plan.
