Story
I purchased Rio from a breeder when he was 10 weeks old. Rios 3 now. I now have a 16 month old and its too much for me. He can sit, lay, shake, roll over, give kisses, speak and stand. He has a ton energy and would be best with alot of space to run around. He would be perfect for a farm as he is a herding dog. He seeks ALOT of attention. Also the best home would be without younger kids. I was staying with my Mom in Rockford, but just recently moved with my dad in St. Cloud.

Story
Come and meet me at our adoption event at Trove Brewing, Burnsville on 7/5 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm! 📍 Age: 1 year old ⚖️ Weight: 35 lbs 🐶 Dog Friendly: Yes 🐱 Cat Friendly: Yes 👶 Kid Friendly: Yes 🚽 Potty Trained: Yes 🏠 Crate Trained: Unknown - probably 🦵 Legs: 3 Nori is a special girl! She was pregnant, injured, and running scared in Missouri when some nice people rescued her. She was so relieved to be in a home, that she had her puppies the next morning. At 10 days old, they all made their way up to Minnesota. Nori had been hit by a car sometime in the past and when she got to Minnesota, a leg exam showed that her right hind leg was so damaged that it would just be better to amputate it. She was put on a mild pain reliever that she could be on when she was nursing and nursed until 4 weeks. After that, the puppies were weaned and she had her leg amputated. Nori is a gentle soul who loves everyone! She is a chill girl who loves to cuddle. She doesn't let her amputation slow her down! She can do stairs and loves to run around the backyard. She would be a great therapy dog! She sleeps with my daughter and hangs out loose in the house with my other dogs when we are gone. 💵 Adoption Fee: $595

Story
Hi! My name is Lexie and I am from Minnesota! From her foster: Lexie is a very fun, playful, happy and snuggly girl! She does bark when left in her kennel but will settle down eventually. She has done well being left out of the crate, too, and is house trained! Slow intros to any new dog would be needed.

Story
I am looking for a foster or forever family! Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org if you can say YES to fostering this animal! Select the "Apply for Adoption" if you would like to adopt Hi! My name is Big Bee and I am from Alabama. From her foster: Big Bee is a very sweet and affectionate girly. She is currently overweight, likely due to her strong appreciation for treats, but she is working on developing healthier habits in her foster home. Big Bee is generally very relaxed and enjoys lounging throughout the day, especially outside where she can soak up the sun. While she is mostly calm and laid-back, she occasionally shows a playful, goofy side that adds to her charm. Big Bee thrives on attention and affection. She loves being around people and is happiest when she has someone by her side. Her affectionate nature and love for companionship make her a wonderful addition to a calm, loving home. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who enjoys quiet moments, occasional bursts of playfulness, and lots of love, Big Bee may be the perfect fit for you. From the Vet: I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and strict rest/restricted activity. My adoption can take place during treatment, while TBB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family. At my first exam to stage my heartworm treatment, I got the diagnosis of hyperthyroidism which meant a few things; I will need to start thyroid supplementation and this is generally a life long medication, but once I find the right dose I will be able to focus on getting myself healthy in other ways! I will need to address my skin issues as well as get down to a better healthier weight. I will need a home that is comfortable with a dog that takes medication and has to be kept activity restricted for the next few months, but the most rewarding part is that my medical conditions are highly treatable so my outlook on life is only better from here!! Just need someone to say yes and give me a soft place to land, recover and live the good life!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee: $550 plus taxI'm so very pleased to meet you!  I'm good with kids and love other dogs. I like to spend my days busying myself with toys and doggie chewies.  I like to stay active too by running and playing in the yard.  However, I usually fit a few naps into my day as well.  After all, who doesn't like a nap?  I'm learning what potty pads are and that I really should go outside to do my dirty business but it takes time to establish those habits.  I love to cuddle with my humans too. I'm searching for a fabulous forever home to share my life and love with! Do you want a great friend to join your family?  Well, adopt me and let's start making lasting memories together!  * Puppies under 5 months should not be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time to help them with potty training and socialization.   If you have previously applied with us please email placement@midwestanimalrescue.org to reactivate your application with new interest.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS.  We do not transport to potential adopters. How to learn more about a pet: Complete the application (click on the button above) to start our process for adopting or fostering a MARS Pet. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance.  Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. Pet Breeds: The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility or Shelter partner. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess without knowing a pet’s full history. //
