She has been friendly with everyone she meets. She is still very young so potty training and sleeping in her crate are a work in progress. She will need frequent let outs during the day. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. Blaze is a 54#, 5-year-old Border Collie with a sunny personality and a zest for life that's as bright as a perfect summer day. He thinks every day should include a game of fetch or frisbee and plenty of time spent with his favorite people. Happy-go-lucky, affectionate, and adventurous, Blaze loves being part of the action, whether that's a morning walk, a trip to the park, or a backyard barbecue. His energy level is a wonderful balance: he's always ready for fun and activity, and he's equally happy to relax and enjoy downtime with his family afterward. Blaze would thrive with an active, herding breed-experienced family that appreciates both his intelligence and enthusiasm. He walks beautifully on leash without pulling and is well-socialized in the world. He's crate trained and keeps four on the floor. He knows a few basic obedience commands and wants to learn more. With his smarts, a little time and some good treats, and we bet he can learn anything! A fenced yard would be ideal for Blaze so he has room to stretch his legs and enjoy his favorite games. He can happily live as an only dog or with a canine companion. He is a herding dog, which includes nipping at ankles if given the opportunity. As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. We are located in Minnesota and adopt to an area 400 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul.

"She ran calling "WILD.....FIRE"!! That is a haunting song.... I promise, though..I am not a HAUNTER!! But I may love to run around and around and AROUND :) I am a puppy! I am so sweet and cuddly, when i finish running around ;) I have plenty of energy so you HAVE to be ready to burn it off with mental and physical exercise. I am SMART too! Teach me who you want me to be and I will learn! I was found with 4 siblings living (dumped) at the Home Depot...but it was a LUCKY BREAK, cause we were seen by the husband of a rescuer and we got SAVED! Now I am in my foster home and learning the "ropes" ;) Potty training is getting better every day, I mean our foster mom takes us out often for potty control and I am really working hard to wait for the next jaunt outside! I also am crate training too! I don't like to pee or poop where I sleep- as long as I don't eat right before bed and go outside as soon as I wake up I am doing great!! I seriously am ready for my family, I LOVE to play and am great with all dogs big, small, old or babies. AND i have one half BLUE EYE!! The better to see you with, my new family! :) ADOPT ME SOON!! Hi there! My name is Charlie, aka “Charles Charleston”. I am soft to the touch, sweet on the heart, and fast for love. My favorite activities are fetch, walks, car rides, and playing with my humans or foster dog siblings in the yard. After which I can usually be found curled up for a nap or snuggling close to my foster parents for some love. I am looking to be someone’s best friend — someone who will love me for both my spirit and my kind heart. I have working dog genes, so I am intelligent, love learning new tricks (especially if treats are involved), and lean into the ones I already know when life gets exciting. I wait in my kennel for mealtime, sleep through the night, wait at doorways for the cue, am house-trained, minimally bark, know sit, down, stay, and break. Do you have a new trick you can teach me? My foster mom says that I am endlessly loyal with the most affectionate heart. She can rarely be out of sight, and if we are just hanging out, I can usually be found with some extremity touching her so she knows I am there. Hi there- My name is Milton and I am super cool. I come from a litter of 10. Mom is English Setter (which we know) & Dad is an Aussie(the Dr thinks that), which is no wonder why I love being outside. I like exploring, chasing balls, throw toys, squeaky toys, and chew toys. I have my baby teeth & love the chew toys. I live with a foster sister, yellow lab, a foster brother, full size doodle, and 3 sisters from my litter. My foster brother is doing a great job at showing me the lay of the land along with how to be your best companion. He’s taught me to go to the bathroom outside & thus I am house trained. My foster mom opens the patio door & I go right outside. I’m playful, easy going, and am starting to work on some basic commands of sit, come, & stay. I do have a lot of learning to do to master the commands so I will need patience & consistency. I am a happy guy who would love to have a child/children to grow up with. My foster mom tells me I’d also be a great companion for a single puppy parent as well as to a family. If you’re looking for an eager to learn, well behaved, potty & kennel/crate trained companion I’m ready for you.
