He thinks every day should include a game of fetch or frisbee and plenty of time spent with his favorite people. Happy-go-lucky, affectionate, and adventurous, Blaze loves being part of the action, whether that's a morning walk, a trip to the park, or a backyard barbecue. His energy level is a wonderful balance: he's always ready for fun and activity, and he's equally happy to relax and enjoy downtime with his family afterward. Blaze would thrive with an active, herding breed-experienced family that appreciates both his intelligence and enthusiasm. He walks beautifully on leash without pulling and is well-socialized in the world. He's crate trained and keeps four on the floor. He knows a few basic obedience commands and wants to learn more. She's friendly, affectionate, confident, curious, observant and just a bit spicy. She wants to be close to her people, joining in on whatever they are doing. From her foster: Trinity is VERY sweet and gentle, shy and loves to stick to one person (but warms up to others with some patience), is good with other dogs (low energy/non intrusive dogs would be best), is making lots of progress getting comfortable in her kennel, sleeps through the night in kennel, low energy right now (heart worm positive). We are working on potty training! She isn’t very sure what to do once she’s outside. I think her accidents inside are because she is a bit too uncomfortable outside to settle into a potty. I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and strict rest/restricted activity. My adoption can take place during treatment, while TBB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family.

However, Bella like many people does not enjoy being a storm chaser and will show some separation anxiety and will need some reassurances from her people while they hide out in the bathtub with her while it is storming. (Because that's what we all do, right?) If you would like to give this gal a try, don't hesitate to reach out!! Bella has recently been spayed, is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm and tick-borne disease negative, and positively looking for her new furever home. Fine Print: All dogs of NWMNAR are screened at the headquarters in Ada, Mn until they are vetted. They are then transferred to foster homes throughout MN and some into ND so they can get used to lifestyles with a family in a home. Adoption fee for an adult dog is $300 + Mn tax. Adoption fee for a dog over 3 years of age is $300 + Mn tax., pup/dog1 year to 3 years is $400 + Mn tax. Under 1 year of age $500 + Mn tax. Hello there! I'm Trinket, a 9-year-old Australian Shepherd with a heart as big as my smile. My theme song is "Take a Chance on Me" by ABBA. All I need is one chance to show you what a wonderful companion I am. Friendly, loyal, eager to please, and always ready to learn something new are great words to describe me. My foster family says I'm a happy, kind soul, which works too. Every person and dog I meet is my new best friend (and that includes folks at the vet's office)! At 62 pounds, there's a lot of me to love right now. I already feel better having lost some weight and am determined to keep going. Like everything in life, I'm approaching my fitness journey with optimistic determination. I'm looking for a family that will help me achieve my healthy weight with lots of fun together along the way. When I'm not busy winning hearts, you'll find me chasing my beloved herding balls, squeaking a favorite toy, or hoping my family might break out the watermelon - yum! My ideal home is on the quieter side with an active spin. I like to spend my days doing things with my favorite people, going for walks, and enjoying plenty of snuggle time. I am great on leash, and love to chase critters if given the opportunity (part of my workout routine). A fenced yard would be fantastic, or consistent leash management works for me too.
