Hi, my name is Razzataz and I am from Arkansas! Razzy is the sweetest snugglebug around! He almost never barks and could do well in an apartment (as long as he has room for zoomies!) He can be shy at first meeting but will quickly plop himself down right on top of you to demand belly rubs and ear scratches. He loves long walks and running laps around the yard but is still trying to understand the concept of toys! He is quietly respectful of our resident cat and would do well with another dog to play with. He sleeps through the night on his bed and crate training is a work in progress as he can get a bit nervous on his own. He will be a great companion for anyone ready to be active with this sweet boy and excited for all the cuddles you could want!

Hi, my name is Trinity and I am from Arkansas! From her foster: Trinity is VERY sweet and gentle, shy and loves to stick to one person (but warms up to others with some patience), is good with other dogs (low energy/non intrusive dogs would be best), is making lots of progress getting comfortable in her kennel, sleeps through the night in kennel, low energy right now (heart worm positive). We are working on potty training! She isn’t very sure what to do once she’s outside. I think her accidents inside are because she is a bit too uncomfortable outside to settle into a potty. I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and strict rest/restricted activity. My adoption can take place during treatment, while TBB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family.

Hi, my name is Black Eyed Susan and I am from Arkansas! Blacked Eyed Susan (we call her Missy) is really the sweetest dog ever. All she wants is to be loved and get all the pets, cuddle and play. She will give you a full body hug when you come home and even fall over so you can rub her belly. She wants to be touching you at all times. She loves to rub her head into your neck or face, fully lay on top of you or have her head on your chest while nudging you for pets. She gets the zoomies daily and will play with her toys for about 30 minutes before crashing and talking a nap. She loves to play chase and is actually really gentle when you play with her. She will let you grab her toys and play tug or throw it for her to play fetch. She will drop the ball on her own wanting you to grab it and bounce it so she can jump after it. She is extremely treat motivated and LOVES her bones! A good bone can keep her entertained for hours. She will be your shadow. She wants to be everywhere you are. Going to the bathroom? She’s sitting in front of you making awkward eye contact trying to get you to rub her paw the whole time. Working or on the computer? She’ll try to climb into the chair with you then lay at your feet or next to you the whole time. She walks really well on the leash and the gentle leader! She is a quick learner and responds well to leash manner training. The gentle leader has helped the pulling and she is not so reactive to others while it’s on. She has learned that she has to get her paws wiped after coming in from outside. She also knows how to sit and wait before eating her food. We are also learning that “good” and “yes” means to pay attention to us. She needs a home with no animals or someone that can give her the training to overcome her reactivity towards other animals. She has consistently shown aggression towards our resident cat and is super reactive towards our neighbors dogs and dogs on walks. She is fearful of new people. She is very cautious at first but if you let her approach herself and they give her treats- she will warm up quickly. She has not shown fearfulness towards kids and is very gentle with them! Although she is friendly with men she is fearful of them. Male visitors need to be aware that she may randomly bark at them when they move around and they should not surprise her as she will go into protective mode. We recommend she be on a leash at all times outside or there needs to be a high fence. She has hops and can jump over an average height fence. She tries to take off after other animals when she sees or hears them. We recommend no shared walls as she’s a barker! If she doesn’t want to be in the kennel, in her room or she hears any noises- she will let you know! She also barks and goes crazy when she sees people or dogs walk past the house. We have been working through this with some improvement.
