Rikki was abandoned and I adopted her from an individual that found her and listed her on Find A Pet last December. She acclimated very quickly and has had the run of the house since. She's about 3 years old, not sure exactly. She needs a fenced in yard or plenty of room to run; she's energetic and loves to play inside and outside. Rikki responds to numerous words/commands and is leash walked.

Hi friends! My name is Willy. I'm a border collie mix of sorts and quite handsome if I do say so myself. I'm a bit of a special dog, a real shy guy, but if someone would just give me a chance I will make a great companion. I love other dogs, as long as they're friendly, and I absolutely must go to a home with another friendly dog or two to show me I'm in a safe place. We all need some reassurance sometimes, right? I also need a fenced yard. Whoever my new owner is will need to be able to give me lots of time and space to feel comfortable with them. I'm a really good boy, I'm crate trained and house broken, but until I get used to you I'm gonna need you to keep your paws to yourself. I promise it's not personal, and you'll see I'm worth the wait! Willy is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. He's located at The Pet Connection Sanctuary in Beloit, KS, but transportation to the right home may be available. Balie is a sweet and shy babe who was born in May. She desperately wants love and is getting a little more brave every day! All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, Heartworm tested (6 months and above,) and current on vaccinations and preventions prior to adoption. At the time of adoption all dogs are signed up with a unique Safe Paws QR pet ID tag, the adopter is required to maintain a monthly membership of $2.99/month for (at minimum) the first year. This helps insure your new furry family member makes his way back to you if lost. Leashes and collars are also required at the time of adoption. You are welcome to bring your own, or we have plenty to choose from at the shelter as well. If the pet you fall in love with is not quite ready for adoption, we do offer a $50 hold deposit that will insure you have first "dibs on adoption. Once an animal is available for adoption, we are not able to hold them, as there are so many animals waiting to come into our program. Our shelter is located at 10312 East 63rd Street in Raytown, MO. We are open to meet pets Tuesday through Friday from 10-6, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10-5. We are closed on Mondays. Sully was rescued from euthanasia and came to us scared and unsure. Slowly, he is gaining confidence and enjoying his foster home, building a relationship with foster mom. Sully is initiating play and enjoys sun bathing with his foster brother. He is around 1 year and is likely mixed with border collie. He recently showed us he loves the water! Approx. DOB: 3/14/24 Current Weight(as of 8/2/24. 20pds Adoption Fee: $250 includes 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness. Wally was dumped in a small town along with his sister. He is a happy and joyful pup and loves to play. Wally has some medical issues with his back and hind leg. Radiographs showed a lumbar vertebral malformation. He will need to be on joint supplements for life. He also experienced a seizure and it is possible he could have more but at this time only one has been witnessed by his foster. Wally's medical issues DO NOT slow him down, He acts like a normal puppy, playful, loving and a zest for life! He can outlast any puppy when playing, running outside or inside. He loves every dog and person he meets. He is a sweetheart who craves human touch and love. He is crate trained but not fully housebroken yet. He really needs someone that has more time to really work with him on this. He is a smart little guy and is a people pleaser so that really helps him learn new skills. We were working on the sit command but it seems like he has a hard time getting his rump in the right position to accomplish the command. Give this little guy a chance! Just fill out that application to meet him to fall in love. At our adoption events at the Lee Summit Petco he is our star. Always loving on every new person he meets there and then rolling on his back to get belly rubs. He is a real ham. Puppies are NOT housebroken and should not be expected to wait more than 1 hour for each month of age to go out to potty. Please make sure that you have a “potty plan” in place if considering adoption. All of our puppies have been spay/neuter, wormed, microchipped, and given age appropriate vaccinations.
