Looking for a very energetic young girl? Do you have time to train me some dog manners? If so, I am the dog for you! I am an energetic girl, who loves to play, run, jump, and all the things a pup likes to do. Sadly, when I arrived at the shelter as a stray, the staff knew I was an adorable pup, but I never had any training. So I will need someone to help me learn the proper manners of a dog. The staff has resources available that they can share with you.Now to brag. I may have a lot to learn, but the staff has let me be the dog of the week! This means I got to spend time up in a suite by the front lobby, and when visitors stop in, they can come and great me and give me treats! Yummmmmmy! Not all dogs get this opportunity to be in the suite during the day. The staff trusts me to stay in the room and be kind and courteous those who stop in to say hello.Please give the shelter a call and make an appointment to come see me!

Roy is ready to find a loving family who will appreciate him for the amazing dog that he is. Approximate Birthdate:  April 2019 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. This dog is a courtesy listing for one of our rescue partners Allen county animal rescue facility. They are a rural animal control shelter near Iola KS. Many dogs are brought to their facility after being found as strays, dumped, surrendered, or brought in by the city. However, because they are in such a rural town, they have a very small pool of adopters and have a hard time finding homes for the dogs in the shelter. Our promise as their rescue partner is that should someone apply through us, we will handle any transportation needed to get the dog to their forever home, we will assist with home visits, dog intros and anything needed to help get these dogs out of the shelter and into loving homes. Landry is the biggest baby you'll ever meet. He is 82 pounds in the physical world, but his soul is 10 pounds. He is a lover and wants to be wherever his people are. Landry does well with people, though can be shy at first, as well as other dogs! No cats for this fella, though. Truly, this snuggle bug would love to be your new best friend.
