Sadie is currently at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Sadie is 2 1/2 years old (December 1) and is possibly a Border Collie/Lab mix. -Come into the local shelter in Summer 2023 as a small puppy. Transferred to our rescue on June 7th -Just went through heartworm treatment and tested negative as of December 9th! -Used to be shy and timid....now she is well socialized and loves to get all of your attention and she's not afraid to ask for it! -Energetic breed who would love a nice yard to run in and a family to love on. -35-40 pounds. -Gets along with other dogs. Would do best in a home with another dog to play with. Does like to be the "alpha" with some females (never aggressive). Meet Luna. Luna came to us as part of an oops litter. We were told mom was a border collie and dad was a dog that was passing through. Her date of birth is 4/28/2025. This is what her foster mom has to say about her:This adorable 7 month little lady is easily the best puppy that I have ever fostered. She will probably be a medium but thinner dog. She is now spayed, UTD on shots, completely crate trained, never barks, LOVES kids, is low energy but playful, adores dogs, and is a little scared of the cats. Believe it or not she is half border collie (mom was a pure bred, Amish breeder boarder collie, and dad was a roaming dog…possibly lab or pitty mix bc of her gorgeous brindle coloring) She is SO CUTE in person!
