Meet adoptable BENTLEY!! Bentley is a 4 month old border collie mix and is currently in a foster home quickly learning how to be part of a family. Bentley is one of a litter of 6 puppies raised at CompAnimals shelter. Four of Bentleys siblings have been adopted and are doing well in their new homes! Now it’s Bentley‘s turn! Bentley has learned so much during his 3 weeks at his foster home! When he arrived everything was new and scary to him. He is now a confident boy and is crate trained (voluntarily goes in his crate for bedtime or naps with no messes), walks nicely on a leash, knows basic commands (sit, stay, no barking, no jumping), is great with kids, people and other dogs. He also loves to hike and is learning to fetch a ball. Bentley is housebroken and will stand by the door to go out. Overall Bentley is a friendly and easy going puppy who loves to play and snuggle. A great family Dog! We do ask that Adopters of puppies under 12 months of age attend a positive reinforcement basic obedience class. Apply at www.companimals.org. ENZO FERRARI is one of Maserati’s six puppies. MAZI is a sweet girl, a good mama and loves everybody, even strangers! We’re hoping the puppies take on her personality. The highest percentage of their heritage is of the herding breeds so we’re looking for active, dog oriented homes. Enzo is a rough and tumble guy, often on the top of the play pile! He is easy to spot because he’s the only one with two black front feet. Adoption fee of $350 will cover a eventual spay/Neuter when they are old enough. Vets are now recommending after the first heat for girls snd after the growth plates close for the boys - This helps prevent some health problems as they mature. The puppies have received their deworming and will have their first vaccine And are totally weaned from mom. They turned eight weeks old on Easter day and are available now. We do ask that Adopters of puppies under 12 months of age attend a basic obedience class with them. We find that this results in a more confident, settled pup and reduces returns down the road. Benny is an exceptionally smart and loyal companion. He is alert and attentive to his owner. Benny is also toy driven and would never pass up an opportunity to at tug of war. Because of Benny's nature and experiences he would do best with an experiences owner who has a reasonable amount of time to give. Benny is most comfortable with slow introduction.He is guarded and needs to know that you are someone he can trust. Once that is established he will devote himself to you. Benny could use some training in a couple of areas. He can be hyperactive when he first sees you and will jump a crazy hight and then tug at your clothing out of excitement. He will attack your vacuum. He also doesnt like laundry baskets on the floor. He is guarded so he will not allow strangers to approach and touch him. He has lived with children of all ages, another dog and several cats. He has been exposed and has been fine. The cats annoy him but nothing more. I will help pay for training.

Meet Chunk: Chunk is about a 14 month old (as of July 2026) border collie / lab mix (best guess) that weighs about 60 pounds. Chunk was born in a shelter on May 1, 2025. His mommy and siblings had all been adopted and found their homes and he was left behind. For one year he lived in the shelter not knowing any other life. Chunk went to many adoption events where everyone loved him but no commitments were made. Due to shelter stay length without interest, he found his name on the euthanasia list! The shelter director reached out to our rescue to see if we could help this sweet guy out. We are thankful we had a spot for him and can give him the chance at the life he deserves! Chunk is now being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Chunk is a total sweetheart! He is great with all people, including children. Chunk loves attention, playing with his toys, and having snacks! Chunk could spend his days rolling in the grass and hanging out with friends and be the happiest guy around! Chunk is great with other dogs and has done well with cats, too! Chunk is house trained and crate trained and walks well on a leash. We would love for Chunk to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can roam, run, roll and play freely until his hearts content. Chunk is up to date on his shots and neutered. Chunk is such a great package and ready to be your new best friend forever!
