SILAS is the definition of adorable! Bursting with spunk, joy, and friendliness, this little guy is happiest when he’s with his people. He gives the sweetest hugs that will absolutely melt your heart, and his “oh-so-freaking-cute” factor is off the charts. He’s not just a people-lover — Silas is a loyal buddy to his doggy pals too. Silas is smaller in person than he looks in his photos. He is super cute, affectionate, and an easy, gentle walker!  With a happy-go-lucky spirit, endless sweetness, and an overload of adorableness, Silas easily out-cutes a wagon full of puppies. One look at his adorable face and you’ll be zapped right at the heart — in the best way possible. Adorable Silas is a 2-year-old Cattle Dog. Oh, did I mention that Silas is adorable? Story
Blanca’s easygoing nature makes her the ultimate family dog, the kind of pup who fits right into your heart from the very first wag. She’s not just beautiful (though she truly is one of the prettiest pups on the planet!), she’s overflowing with sweetness, so much that you’ll feel like you’re swimming in it every single day. Blanca is the definition of every word that defines “adorable”: sweet, gentle, precious, friendly, loving, warm-hearted, heavenly, and yes, she even takes her treats with the nicest manners. She’s the kind of dog everyone falls in love with, thanks to her kind spirit and gentle soul. Blanca loves romping around with her doggy pals, turning every day into a playdate. Imagine having happiness on tap — 24/7, 365 days a year — that’s exactly what life with Blanca feels like. This amazing 2-year-old girl is ready to bring joy, laughter, and endless cuddles into your world. With Blanca by your side, life isn’t just great… it’s pawsitively perfect! Story
Joey is a sweet, energetic Cattle Dog. She is well trained, comfortable in her crate and in public places like restaurants. She walks well on a leash but like all Cattle Dogs, needs a firm hand to re-direct reactivity. She gets along great with other dogs but is nervous around cats. She has never been around kids so I would not recommend a home with kids. We love her dearly but live in a city. Joey really needs a fenced yard with an active family to keep her engaged. Like all Cattle Dogs, she needs plenty of exercise and mental stimulation or she will make her own fun. She would love another dog as a playmate and does well with dogs of any size. She loves dock diving and other dog sports. Ultimately our decision to re-home her is about her need for space and a doggy friend. She is a wonderful dog. She is between 3 and 4 years old. In very good health and up to date on all shots.

Story
Meet Ripley fka Panera: Ripley is a 1 year old (as of September 2025) cattle dog / lab / terrier mix (our best guess) that weighs about 37 pounds. She’s an absolute cuddle bug. She is your typical young dog, so she’s extra cute and spunky. She may be small for her breed but is packed with personality! She is a “Velcro dog” who always wants to be attached at the hip, thus earning her the nickname - “Grippy.” Ripley plays hard and cuddles even harder. She is very talkative and will let you know when she wants something or if someone is nearby. She knows sit, down, and has excellent recall skills. Ripley has been through a lot in the short time she’s been on this earth, so it can take some time for her to warm up to someone. She is initially scared of new dogs, animals, and strangers. She does well with slow introductions, but once she trusts you, she’ll be your best companion. Although she has an abundance of great qualities, she would do best as an only pet in a home and no small children. She likes to play with other dogs but doesn’t like to share. Ripley needs an experienced foster or adopter who has time to give her the mental and physical stimulation she needs and knows how to handle resource guarding behaviors.  Ripley is house-trained and crate-trained. We would love for Ripley to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely. Ripley is up to date on her vaccinations and is spayed. Story
Meet Rascal:  Rascal is a 4 year old Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix that weighs around 41 pounds.  Rascal was rescued from a high kill shelter a day before she was to be euthanized.  Rascal loves attention and is very sweet.  Rascal can be dog selective but has no reaction to cats. We recommend older children because Rascal is energetic and sometimes jumps on you. Overall Rascal is a nice girl...just needs some work and stability. Rascal is house and crate trained but needs some work on her leash walking. Rascal will need a fenced in yard where she can run and a family that is very active and experienced. Rascal will make a great dog in the right home. Rascal is up to date on all her shots and spayed. If you were interested in adopting this sweet girl, please go to our website at charliescrusaders.org and fill out our adoption application.
