Story
Rikka (ree - kah) is a sweet and gentle girl. She weighs about 50 lbs. She is timid around other animals and does not seem interested in them. She LOVES kids and loves going for walks on her leash. She spends most of her time napping on the couch with a minky blanket. Her favorite treat is raw carrots. She is well behaved around the dinner table and will lay at your feet until you get up. She is house trained. She’s trying to learn the doggy door. She is sad when you leave, but will sleep on your bed until you return. She is an excellent road trip partner and is happy to be the little spoon when you cuddle with her.

Elizabeth 385-391-9614Ezra is the sweetest dog you will ever meet, loves everybody and does fantastic with other dogs. He can be a little rough with cats because of his energy level and he doesn’t realize they aren’t like dogs, but he doesn’t get aggressive by any means. He is a heavy shedder and needs an undercoat rake and brush regularly. He weighs about 45lbs and is up to date on vaccines. He has a lot of nicknames and will respond to Ezzy, Ez, Miller, and Lorpus. Be Aware: He cannot be an indoor dog without EXTENSIVE training. I really would love if he could have a yard to run around in, he thrives when he can be left in a fenced in yard while you’re gone. He can’t be left in a kennel long, 4 hours maximum before he has an accident. If there is any kind of fabric near his kennel, he will 100% pull it through the cage and tear it to shreds. He’s been kennel trained since the day I got him but he struggles and I’m at a loss with his training. He really cannot he left for more than 15 minutes to his own devices indoors or he will destroy the room and make a mess. I love this dog with my entire heart and want to be positive he’s going to a good, happy home with plenty of love for him. He doesn’t do well indoors but he is a good dog, and he will make for the best companion.

Story
Aspen is a 6 month old Heeler mix female who currently weighs about 25 pounds (and growing!). She is a love bug, enjoys cuddling and snuggling when she is not wiggling or doing zoomies! She has many friends in her foster family, getting along with cats, small chihuahuas, and a big Doberman. She lets the cats sleep in her bed. Aspen is doing awesome with her crate training. She attended 2 full days at puppy school with Kudos 2 Canine training. Potty training is a work in progress, but she is learning from the others. Her favorite joy is to be outside running in the sunshine. If you can keep up with her and enjoy playing she will be your best friend.Aspen would love another playful dog in her adoptive home and a family who takes her out on adventures to see the world outside of her back yard, attends a basic training course with her, and continues to socialize her with other pets, people and places. Aspen's adoption fee is $300 and includes her first years vaccines, deworming, health check, microchip, and spay. To be considered, please apply online at caws.org. Thanks! Story
Hi! My name is Raine and I am 1 year and 5 month old Australian Shepard/Border Collie/Pitbull mix. I am a very playful girl who will make you laugh with my silly personality, and my howls! I am shy at first, but once you gain my trust I am extremely loving and cuddly. I am also very loyal, I will follow you wherever you go! I don’t do well with other dogs right away, I need someone who will take the time to let me warm up to other dogs by going on pack walks. I have been able to make other dog friends by doing this! I will do best in a home with no other animals. I LOVE to go on adventures, especially paddle boarding and hiking. On-leash days in Millcreek canyon are my favorite because I’m able to enjoy the outdoors without other dogs getting in my space! I also love the snow, I could roll and play in it all day long! I am spayed, up-to-date on my vaccinations, crate-trained and potty trained.

These pups are in Sunset, Utah too!

Story
This is Oberon, He is an energetic blue heeler that loves playing and working. We want to find him a new home because we can't give him the care he needs. We got Oberon when he was 7 months old from an amazing family. They told us that they didn’t know everything that had happened but from their understanding he had gone through at least 4 other families before them and the conditions during that time were not great. Oberon came with some anxiety issues, but they were minor so we thought he would do just fine. I introduced him to my girls (1 year old and 4 years old) and he was gentle and playful and awesome with them. We were told that he had anxiety and that he liked females more than males. We noticed this as he is really timid around me. Oberon matches the energy of those around him so my wife being pregnant and his anxiety got way worse and we're worried he won't do well with the new baby. He needs a calm environment where he will be played with and taken on walks regularly.
