Story
Ace is an amazing, super sweet and dedicated border collie. We have had him for almost 5 years. We just had a baby. Ace gets overly excited when children are around and has nipped two kids hands. We aren’t willing to take the risk. Aside from that, he is absolutely loyal and such a happy boy. He loves walks and running around the yard. When he isn’t doing that, he is snuggling on the couch or in bed with us.

Story
Hi, I'm Bagel! My shelter friends say I have the sweetest face, and my personality matches it. I love all kinds of treats and I'm super smart, which makes training fun and easy. I have good leash manners and enjoy getting out for walks and playtime, but I'm also happy to curl up for a cozy snuggle session. I'm a loving, gentle pup who's ready to bring lots of smiles (and cuddles) to my future family.I can be shy in new spaces. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things. Once I come out of my shell, I have lots of love to give.I'd like a home where my family is home often. I'm just really social and love spending time with people, I prefer to not be left alone for long periods.I need to be the only pet. I'm not comfortable sharing my space or my stuff with other animals. I prefer to be the center of attention!I'm available for Trial Adoption! If you're interested in taking me home for 2 weeks before making a final decision, please speak to an adoption counselor. Primary Color: Black Weight: 59.5 Age: 3yrs 1mths 2wks

Story
Meet Benito – Your Happy-Go-Lucky Adventure Buddy! Basic Info: Name: Benito Breed: Border Collie / Australian Cattle Dog Mix Sex: Male DOB: April 10, 2022 Weight: 46 lbs Intake Date: April 9, 2024 Personality – Happy, Playful & Full of Zest: Benito is pure sunshine on four paws! Always ready to play, explore, or lean in for a pet, he’s got an infectiously joyful personality that will keep a smile on your face. He loves interactive games, running around the yard, and getting belly rubs. Benito thrives on connection and fun—he’s a dog who wants to be in the middle of the action and part of the family. With him, every day is a new adventure. Breed Information: As a mix of Border Collie and Australian Cattle Dog, Benito is naturally intelligent, alert, and active. These working breeds are known for their stamina, loyalty, and sharp minds. Benito will benefit from regular physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep him balanced and happy. Puzzle toys, training sessions, and active play will help him shine. He’s eager to learn and eager to please! Owner Responsibilities: Provide daily exercise: walks, play, fetch, or dog sports Offer mental stimulation through training, puzzles, and games Use positive reinforcement training—Benito is smart and responsive Maintain regular veterinary care and vaccinations Ensure he’s part of the family, not left alone for long periods Provide structure, patience, and love Create a safe, indoor home environment Commitment for Life: Benito is not a short-term companion—he's a lifelong partner. Adopting him means committing to his care, well-being, and happiness for all of his days. He needs a family that understands that dogs are not disposable—they are forever. In return, Benito will give you loyalty, laughter, and love every single day. Do Not Leash Your Dog Outside Unattended: Benito should never be tied up or left outdoors alone. He needs companionship, safety, and interaction. Tethering a dog outside is not only dangerous but also deeply unfair to a social, intelligent dog like Benito. He deserves to be inside, where he can be close to his people and thrive. Why Adopt Benito? Because Benito brings joy wherever he goes. He’s playful without being overwhelming, smart without being stubborn, and affectionate without being clingy. He’s the perfect match for an active individual or family who wants a loyal sidekick with a big heart. Adopt Benito and experience the happiness of having a dog who truly loves life—and loves you. Story
Hello! My name is Percy! I am looking for a new home that will be comfortable and calm for me. I love to run after a ball or stick, and I do pretty good on a leash. I like to snuggle, and prefer to be wherever my person is. I am looking for a home with older kids or no kids, as little kids are a bit scary for me. I do well with chickens, cats, and other dogs. Percy is a good dog. Hes about 7 years old. We got him from a lady that does breed, but didnt mean for the litter to happen. Percy is a calm, loving dog, he prefers to be wherever you are. We have a big backyard, but he doesnt like to be out there unless we are. We just want a home for him that is calm and can pay attention to him when you are home. We have 3 kids under 5, and he is very anxious around them and doesnt prefer to be around them. So no young kids, but older ones are fine!
