Story
Tuffy is a three year old Border Collie, she's a great dog and would love to be on a farm working with cows and livestock, she's a natural born herder but doesn't do well with chickens or cats and likes to chase cars. She hasn't spent much time inside but has never had an accident while inside. She has successfully been around other dogs but they tend to get tired of her trying to herd them. She doesn't seem very interested in the kids she's been around but has never had any problems with them. We've had her since she was a puppy and her birthday is 12/15/2021.

Story
Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home. Here's what you need to know about me:I can be nervous around new people. It just takes me a little while to get comfortable with new people. But once I get to know them, I'm very loving.I'm easy going. Wanna go for a walk? Okay. Hang out in the yard? No problem. Just relax on the couch? I can do that. I'm pretty happy to go at your pace and I don't really need much more than most dogs do. If you're looking for a steady companion, I'm all yours. It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along.I need a slow introduction to cats. I can share my space with cats, but I'd like to get used to the idea over time. Story
Luke is a 2 year old Australian Shepherd who has been abandoned by his owner, it’s so sad. He’s a great dog and deserves a home. Or a farm. He’s only two so he’s a young boy. He’s will have to be neutered after he’s adopted. . His adoption donation will also cover the cost of his neuter. $300. He’s up-to-date on all shots. He loves cats but can really obsess so he definitely wants something to do. He loves kids too. If you’re interested in adopting Luke, please fill out an application at sccpets.com (at no cost or obligation to you). You will be contacted by a volunteer who will process your application. If it’s approved, it gets forwarded to the owner for their consideration.July 26, 2024, 3:42 pm

Story
Video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/F9pL-jaD0aM Maddie is a beautiful little girl who is about 4 months old and loves all dogs, people and is great with cats, including kittens. She loves romping around, playing with other dogs, splish-splashing in the water, and running in the snow. She found herself dumped out in the country as is the fate of hundreds of dogs in Oklahoma. Luckily she was found by someone who brought her to our vet who then reached out to us. She is the sweetest little thing and deserves a happily ever after. She is currently still in Oklahoma but can only adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport meeting locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on the next transport until a new home is found. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue/reviews Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Seattle/Tacoma) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Illinois (Vandalia) - Indiana (Spiceland) - Ohio (Columbus) - Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) Vetting: spayed, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed, on monthly heartworm prevention, on monthly flea and tick prevention. Adoption fee: $500 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma) Adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95
