Border Collie puppies and dogs in Gresham, Oregon

Our parents have dementia and adopted this adorable puppy in August. They have not been able to take care of him in the way he needs -- they cannot take him for walks, etc. Despite not having exercise, he has remained very sweet and gentle! We are moving our parents into memory care this week and he cannot come. He deserves a good home where he can get lots of exercise and stimulation.

This cutie is Brandy. She is currently 2 months old and weighs approximately 9lbs. We think they may be a border collie/ Australian shepherd mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. Choncho is an international rescue. He is smart and very affectionate. He’s also excellent with children. He, however, doesn’t like cats. He’s perfect for a household where he is the family mascot.

Alder is an extremely sweet, quiet, shy boy. He is the dog version of an introvert. He is gentle and sticks to himself and is great with other dogs of all sizes and with cats. He doesn't engage much with them thought as he prefers to do his own thing. He has to be the most low maintenance and chill dog I've ever had in the rescue out of hundreds of dogs. He is hesitant with people he doesn't know but never aggressive. Not an ounce of aggression. He was listed as a pit bull mix at the shelter when he was smaller and still a younger puppy but now that he is an older puppy (about a year) it's obvious that he is not a pittie but looks more like a border collie. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found.
