Story
Meet Sobek – Want to play?! Attention dog-sport enthusiasts! Sobek is a beautiful 2 ¾ year-old tri-colored Border Collie/Aussie mix. She weighs 33lbs. Sobek has been with a foster for a few weeks now, and she’s turning out to be an awesome dog! She could be your next speedy sport dog. She appears ready to excel at anything sports related… agility, frisbee, ball chasing, herding instincts, high energy, athletic, extremely intelligent! She could be a great running or hiking companion. An active lifestyle is going to suit her. Sobek loves being with people. She has done well with kids, though her high energy might be too much for very young children. She has enjoyed playing with her foster’s young male dog and lived with another dog in the past, but her more intense herding play style will not be for every dog. We would be hesitant to put her in a home with small dogs. She will likely chase cats, so a cat free home is recommended. Sobek has had no exposure to livestock, or farm animals. Sobek is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Sobek is currently in Brush Prairie, WA, near Ridgefield. Her adoption fee is $400. If you are interested in adopting Sobek and are pre-approved, please contact the adoption team at hunahapps@gmail.com. Story
Meet Stella – Your next adventure buddy! Stella is a very confident, curious, and cuddly 4-month-old Border Collie mix. But don’t let that overload of cuteness lull you into thinking she’s a pushover. Stella has that working collie grit, which might try the casual dog owner. Due to her high energy and desire to learn, Stella would do best in an active home, farm, or ranch. We don’t know how she is with livestock; given her breeding she would likely chase if not properly trained. She would likely be a great candidate for agility. Here’s what else we can say about Stella: • Gets along with other dogs and should have another doggie friend. • Loves to learn and is food motivated • Crate trained • Rides great in the car • Loves meeting people • Doing great on the leash • Pretty well house trained! • Gets along with cats • Stella is very vocal, both in play and alerting Stella is being fostered in Portland, Oregon. Stella was reportedly born in January 2026. She is up to date on her vaccinations, and has been wormed. Her adoption fee is $400. If you are interested in adopting Stella and are pre-approved, please contact the adoption team at hunahapps@gmail.com. MEET LUCY – Love sponge! Are you looking for a dog who adores people? Lucy thrives on affection, praise, and treats, and she’ll happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give. She enjoys riding in the car, going for walks, and lounging on beds or couches right alongside her humans. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants to be near you, Lucy is your girl.Lucy is a beautiful 2-year-old, split-faced Border Collie with a permanent smile.  She weighs 47 lbs.  She is potty trained and doing very well with kennel training. Lucy knows her basic commands, walks nicely on a leash, and is incredibly smart, true to her Border Collie roots. She learns quickly and is eager to please, making her joy to train.  Lucy will melt your heart. She is sweet, loyal, and ready to devote herself to a family who will continue to guide her and love her.LUCY DOES WELL WITH:·         Other dogs – Lucy generally gets along well with other dogs, especially the boys!  She is playful and adapts her play style to the other dog.   Sometimes dominant female dogs don’t care for Lucy, so we would want her to meet female dogs in the household.  Lucy is appropriately submissive to the female dog at her current foster.·         Kids – Lucy loves teens.  She shows no reaction to strollers.  She has not been around young children.·         Adults – Lucy loves people!·         Horses – Lucy grew up around horses and does well with them.LUCY WOULD NEED HELP WITH:·         Cats – Fast movement excites Lucy. She has shown interest in cats, so a cat-free home or a very slow, structured introduction would be best.LUCY DOES NOT DO WELL WITH:·         Livestock – Lucy has a history of chasing livestock; however, she has never killed or injured another animal.THE REST OF THE IMPORTANT DETAILSLucy is spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations.  She will be microchipped before adoption.  Lucy is currently in Aurora, Oregon. Her adoption fee is $400. If you are interested in adopting Lucy and are pre-approved, please contact the adoption team at hunahapps@gmail.com. Story
WOOF! I'M ROCCO! I'm a 2-year-old Border Collie-Flat-Coat mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was recently rescued from a crowded California shelter, where I was impounded as a stray. I then was adopted, but returned less than 24 hours later as someone in the house had allergies. Fortunately I was rescued and now am ready for a foster or forever home! I have done great with other dogs and am a happy, playful boy. I love to play with other dogs and hang out with humans. I weigh 59 lbs. Could you foster or adopt me? I'm currently in California but can be transported to Oregon. Please email for an application.

Story
Hello! I’m Sabrina, a lively five-year-old pitbull and blue heeler mix. I’m spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and I’m currently thriving in my foster home, soaking up new experiences like a sponge! I’m friendly with both cats and dogs, as long as we have the right introductions. You can’t miss my charming smile and my adorable blocky head! My favorite activities include evening strolls, chasing after balls, enjoying car rides, snuggling up on the bed, and showering my humans with kisses. On the flip side, I’m not too keen on sharing my squeaky toys, taking medicine, or getting my nails trimmed, but I’m making progress and getting used to it all. I’ve mastered commands like sit, stay, leave it, no touch, down, off, shake, and up. I’m an energetic girl who also loves to cuddle and can stay calm in a crate or kennel, though I’d much rather be curled up on a big, fluffy blanket on the bed. Food and I are best friends and I’m learning to share my toys. I thrive on attention and am a quick learner, so I’m on the lookout for a forever home that will be patient and continue my training. Could that be you? Please fill out an application:   https://form.jotform.com/60136667457159   ##1874262##
