Story
Meet Honey, Honey is a very sweet girl who would thrive in a calm, patient home with someone willing to help her build confidence and reach the wonderful potential she clearly has. Due to her past, Honey is skittish and is frightened by quick movements, but she has shown no signs of aggression. She allows nail trims without issue. I have 4 indoor cats and 1 outdoor cat. Honey pays no attention to the indoor cats. The outdoor cat has interacted playfully with her, allowing Honey to chase her and then chasing Honey in return. Honey will alert when she needs to go outside. Okay with small dogs: My sister brought her small, high-energy dog to visit. She knows sit, lay, bed, and paw.

Story
Meet Delilah!   Fast facts:    Breed: true mutt, but foster mom guesses bull dog, Boston terrier, catahoula leopard dog mix.   Weight: 25 pounds   Age: 2 years young!    House/Crate trained: yes! Delilah hasn’t had a single accident while living in her foster home, and she even knows the word “outside”! She also goes right into her crate and is quiet while she’s in it.    Energy level: medium energy. She loves to cuddle with you on the couch most of the time, but also occasionally loves to chase a ball or play tug of war!   Tricks: Delilah is smart and food-motivated and has already learned sit and stay in the short time she’s been in her foster home.    Noisiness: quiet most of the time, but may bark when someone comes in the house, or if she sees a stranger outside. She would likely do fine in an apartment.   Good with dogs/cats/kids:  *Delilah would likely do best as an only dog.  *She is nervous around other pets, but could likely learn to coexist with dogs similar in size to her, and seems to prefer male dogs. However, she would need slow introductions.  *She does not do well with cats.  *Delilah would do best with older kids.  *She has clear boundaries and needs people and pets who understand that. She’s not comfortable when other pets get too close to her too quickly. She’d do best with calm pets and/or older kids, or as an only dog.    Personality: Shy and scared at first, but once she warms up (which is usually pretty quick), she absolutely ADORES her humans! She is super cuddly and wants to be right next to you at all times.    Bio:   Meet Delilah! This medium sized, 25 pound girl is already full grown at 2 years old. The best part? Delilah looks like a permanent puppy! Just look at those big old eyes - gorgeous half brown, half blue in both eyes, that make her look like a pound puppy or a littlest pet shop toy! She will melt your heart with those puppy dog eyes when she meets you! Her eyes aren’t the only thing unique about Delilah. Check out her fur - brindle, but also Merle splotched at the same time. All of it is topped off with an adorable nubby tail! She’s one of the most unique-looking dogs foster mom has seen!    Delilah has a unique personality to go right along with her unique looks. She is a bit scared at first - especially of big, tall people. She may bark or shake when she first meets some people. However, she warms up quick - she was jumping up into foster mom’s lap within minutes of walking into her foster home! Her favorite place to be is in your lap, giving you kisses, or burrowing under the blankets and snuggling against you in bed. But she also has a playful streak - she absolutely loves tug of war and fetch! Delilah gets very vocal when she plays - she growls so much she sounds like she’s revving her engines! But there’s nothing to be scared of, that’s just one of her little quirks!    If you’re looking for an adorable, young, small-medium sized dog, who can shower you in so much love that you’ll be excited to get home and see her every day (foster mom certainly is!), then apply to adopt Delilah today!  September 17, 2026, 5:07 am

Story
Meet  Mopup— knows "Laney” from the adorable Cleaning Crew litter! She is now 6 years old.  True to her original name, this sweet girl is excellent at mopping up love, attention, and every cozy spot on the couch. Laney is a smart, loyal, and affectionate companion who absolutely thrives when she’s with her people. She loves spending time with humans, whether that means relaxing at home, showing off her impressive command skills, or keeping watch over the yard like the devoted little protector she believes she is. She already knows commands like sit, stay, place, and more — it’s clear she had wonderful training early on and enjoys having structure and guidance. Laney’s journey has had a few bumps along the way. She was previously adopted by someone who sadly had to surrender her due to health issues, and because much of her early socialization happened during COVID, she didn’t get the opportunity to build confidence around other dogs and unfamiliar visitors. While she can coexist with some dogs for periods of time, overstimulating situations or high-energy dogs can make her feel anxious and defensive. Her foster family even hoped she could stay permanently because they already have her sister from the same litter — Cleanuroom, now called Leia! Although the sisters share many of the same wonderful qualities and are both loving dogs, they simply do not enjoy sharing space long term. Laney tends to tolerate calmer male dogs better, but rambunctious or overly energetic dogs are not her style. Because of this, she would truly thrive as the only pet in the home where she can fully relax and enjoy being the center of attention. She can also be timid around unfamiliar men in her home, though once she feels safe, her sweet personality begins to emerge. Outside the home she does much better and has already made great progress warming up to trusted people — including her foster dad! Laney simply needs patient humans who understand that trust is earned, and once you earn hers, you’ll have an incredibly devoted companion. This girl is crate trained, house trained, and appreciates a predictable routine. She currently takes anxiety medication, which helps her feel more comfortable and confident. Like many sensitive pups, thunderstorms and fireworks are not her favorite, but Laney has developed her own hilarious coping strategy: she proudly patrols the fence line “barking the thunder away” as if she alone is protecting the neighborhood from the storm. Honestly, it’s pretty adorable. Laney would do best in a calmer home with adults or teenagers who can respect her space and continue building her confidence. She’s playful, goofy, incredibly intelligent, and has so much love to give. Without the stress of other animals around, her fun and affectionate personality truly blossoms. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend, a built-in thunderstorm security patrol officer, and a dog who will adore being by your side, Laney may just be your perfect match.    September 17, 2026, 5:07 am
