Story
6 years, 49.5 lbs Personality: gentle, loyal, easygoing, cuddly, and friendly. Meet Twix: the sweetest pup! With Twix, you’ll never have to ‘split’ your affection; he’s got enough love for everyone. This sweet and gentle boy thrives on love and companionship, always eager to be by your side. Twix is friendly with guests, always ready to greet them with tail wags and even some soft nudges for attention. Twix gets along great with other dogs and enjoys the occasional play session, though he’s just as content hanging out or chewing on a favorite toy. He’s well-behaved in the house both alone and when you’re home, house trained, crate trained, and working on perfecting his leash manners. Twix is still getting used to city noises and would do best in a suburban neighborhood. Apply today to meet Twix and make your life as sweet as candy! ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. Story
Meet Malibu, a precious boxer/lab mix with a soft heart and a playful spark. She was found with her littermates in a collapsing abandoned trailer and later pulled from a high-kill shelter just in time. Malibu is friendly, social, and wonderful with other dogs. She’s eager to leave her hard beginnings behind and blossom with a family who will show her what love feels like. Malibu is up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. She is working on crate, potty, and leash training. She will need a patient adopter committed to continuing to work with him to help him become the very bestest girl. The adoption fee for this dog is $425. Application for adoption: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FRE/Dog If you are viewing on Petfinder/Adoptapet and cannot see photos or would like to apply for this dog please visit our website, www.frecklesfoundation.org. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! Puppies require an adopter who is home a good part of the day to continue their training! They are up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives. Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue cannot guarantee the exact age or breed of any animal in our care. The age and breed listed are based on information we may have been provided, and the appearance of the animal.
