Story
Male, ~2 years old, ~54 lbs. Approximate Age: ~2 years old   Approximate Weight/Size:    Large   Good with: Dogs   Not tested with: Cats, Kids   Hi, I'm Kush! I'm an incredibly sweet and loving pup with the cutest wrinkles. I can be a bit shy and take a little bit to warm up, but once I get over my nerves then I become a super confident pup and I want nothing more than to be with my people. I would love a forever family that continues to work on my confidence with me. I'm very mellow and easy going around the house. My two favorite things are to cuddle with my people and nap! I'm happy to cuddle up next to you on the couch while you watch TV, lie on the floor near your feet while you work, or curl up in my dog bed while you do other things around the house. Although sometimes I will demand pets with a nose boop or a paw! I'm also perfectly happy in my crate when left alone.      I'm extremely food motivated and will sit politely when offered a yummy treat. I love a good chew toy and, if I'm extra happy, I'll prance around the house with a toy in my mouth. I'm great with other dogs and will happily share food and toys, so I've shown no signs of resource guarding.    As for my training, I'm fully housebroken, fully crate trained, good on a leash, and I know "sit". I also have good house manners: I don't jump or counter surf, and I always ask politely to climb on the couch with you! And, like I said before, I'm happy in my crate and I don't show signs of separation anxiety, so I'll happily nap in my crate whenever you have to leave. I also respond well to "no" so I'm good at learning new house rules. I'm fairly quiet and only bark when I'm in the yard and I see unfamiliar people or if I'm sleeping and get startled awake . However, my bark is relatively quiet and not intimidating. At the end of the day, I'm just a sweet and shy pup and I couldn't hurt a fly!      I can't wait to find a forever home where I can share all the love I've got to give!   Adoption Application: http://bit.ly/adoptrd r My adoption fee includes: Spay/Neuter Surgery (unless I'm too to young!) Story
My name is Momma Abby but you can call me QUEEN ABBY.   I am a recent momma dog that gave birth to six beautiful puppies on Thanksgiving of 2022, November 24th to be exact.  I came from a sad overcrowding situation at a home that would be considered hoarding.  I gave birth in a clean home and my babies are being adopted to great new families right now.  I was a great momma to my babies and I live with a single woman who just adores me and I adore her.   I am housebroken and I have learned how to live very well with her other 4 dogs, big and small.  I am crated when she is gone and I look forward to her returning to give me attention after her work day.  I am truly on my way to getting my figure back.  I am mostly a Boxer breed and I came from the Memphis Tennessee area and am in a foster home in Nashville, Tn right now.  I am very sweet and enjoy people but I will protect and guard my foster mom’s home if I think someone is a danger to my foster mom.  I love the new life that is ahead for me.  I am currently guessed to be 2 years old and weigh 48 pounds. I am being spayed on March 14th and then I will be absolutely your girl forever and every again.  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested in giving me the home that I have always dreamed about. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 3, 2023, 1:34 am

Story
Deja is a really great girl that found herself in a very bad situation. When she was turned in to the local kill shelter, we knew we had to step up and save this sweet girl. When the girls like Deja get admitted to an already crowded small town kill shelter, it takes a miracle from God to save their life.  Well Deja got that miracle and as a young Bulldog/Boxer/Lab mix around 2 years old, this girl is going to really bring some sunshine to their life.  This dog is a true athlete and is a very fit and strong girl of 54 lbs. All Deja wants in life is to please you and spread her happy attitude and personality with everyone she meets.  She would be the perfectcompanion for an active person that enjoys hiking, running or just being outside. She loves her toys, almost too much, so you can only give her those indestructible Tuff and durable toys.  At her foster place she loves to spend her days playing outside or just lounging in the sunshine with her current best friend. Deja is fully vetted and ready to find her new home. Her best friend is Polar. (FYI - her current best friend is also available for adoption! We could certainly make a DEAL for a double adoption).  Contact us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 3, 2023, 1:34 am

Personality: Affectionate, snuggler, smart, energetic, rambunctious, adaptable, outgoing, playful, adventurous, and goofy/funny. Prepare to be enchanted by Grady, a loving, cuddly, ball of energy! Grady is gentle and playful, with humans and with other dogs, where he's a pro at initiating play in a polite manner. Even with young kids, Grady quickly learns the rules and becomes a calm, affectionate playmate. Plus, his expressive eyes and unwavering loyalty make him an unforgettable gem of a pup! Grady is versatile and always ready to learn from you - he's housetrained, getting more comfortable on the leash, and he excels at understanding cues like "leave it" and "off." Grady is content to join you for a chill cuddle session or indulge in some rowdy zoomies in the yard. Despite his puppy energy, he's well-mannered and enjoys quality time in a gated kitchen or his crate without too much fuss. Grady's positive traits extend to his quiet demeanor, with joyful barks reserved for special reunions and occasional whines when left alone. He loves to play, and can spend hours hunting for sticks and chewing on toys! Grady's foster home is a single-family house with a fenced backyard, providing ample space for his many adventures. Grady's love for kids is as clear and bright as he is, as he happily engages with his 3-year-old human foster brother, sharing relaxed and joyful moments together. Grady has showcased his amiable nature with guests, earning their admiration with his eager and quiet curiosity. This lovable pup is truly a treasure waiting to bring endless happiness to his forever home. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained. We also update our Facebook page daily with new cats and dogs.
