Story
Male, ~6 months old (born 3/16/23), ~34 lbs (as of 9/11/23) and growing! Personality: Affectionate, snuggler, smart, energetic, rambunctious, adaptable, outgoing, playful, adventurous, and goofy/funny. Prepare to be enchanted by Grady, a loving, cuddly, ball of energy! Grady is gentle and playful, with humans and with other dogs, where he's a pro at initiating play in a polite manner. Even with young kids, Grady quickly learns the rules and becomes a calm, affectionate playmate. Plus, his expressive eyes and unwavering loyalty make him an unforgettable gem of a pup! Grady is versatile and always ready to learn from you - he's housetrained, getting more comfortable on the leash, and he excels at understanding cues like "leave it" and "off." Grady is content to join you for a chill cuddle session or indulge in some rowdy zoomies in the yard. Despite his puppy energy, he's well-mannered and enjoys quality time in a gated kitchen or his crate without too much fuss. Grady's positive traits extend to his quiet demeanor, with joyful barks reserved for special reunions and occasional whines when left alone. He loves to play, and can spend hours hunting for sticks and chewing on toys! Grady's foster home is a single-family house with a fenced backyard, providing ample space for his many adventures. Grady's love for kids is as clear and bright as he is, as he happily engages with his 3-year-old human foster brother, sharing relaxed and joyful moments together. Grady has showcased his amiable nature with guests, earning their admiration with his eager and quiet curiosity. This lovable pup is truly a treasure waiting to bring endless happiness to his forever home. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained. We also update our Facebook page daily with new cats and dogs.
