She’s affectionate and loving without being demanding—happy to snuggle with you, but also content to relax independently or entertain herself while you work from home. She’s usually calm and quiet (hasn’t barked once) but gets the cutest little zoomies now and then. She would do well in a wide variety of homes and families and would be an easy, loving addition to just about any household.

Seriously, if you look up loyal in the dictionary, Ill be there. Well, okay, not actually. But I could be! Even though I have a certain love for my person, Im a friendly lady with other people too! I like to make friends on walks and at the park. I love to play with other dogs, and have a great time at daycare while my foster mom is working. Im also crate trained, and good about staying home alone if it isnt a daycare day. I love snacks and toys, and as queen of the house, I believe that I should have as many of both as I want! Im sure my future subjectser, family, will agree. Im a smart cookie, and Ive already learned a bunch of new tricks since coming to D.C. I know sit, stay, off, and leave it. Im also totally crate trained and potty trained. Id like to learn a lot more tricks with my new forever family, so get your treats ready! Stella is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Stella is one of the most low maintenance fosters I've ever had the pleasure of helping find a forever home. From being a shy, scared, and timid girl to being confident, secure, and well-mannered, Stella has grown so much in the 2+ years I've known her; although the vacuum cleaner is still enemy #1. Stella has lived in all types of settings: in a busy city, in an apartment, on a quiet street, with dogs, with reactive dogs, and easily adapted to her home environment. She is crate trained and LOVES having a bed in her crate to curl up into a donut while you're at work. She knows every basic command like sit, down, touch, stay and is fully potty trained. Stella's favorite toy is a lambie, or something else that is tiny that she can carry around in her mouth. Once, she took care of an egg for 6 hours before it broke, she's the most gentle creature. Stella is made of love and French fries. There's nothing more that she wants than to be inside with her people, cuddled up on the couch with a show, or playing sous chef in a calm kitchen. She takes awhile to warm up to her people, but with some french fires (her favorite is Burger King), some space, and a bit of patience, she'll love you unconditionally and will likely knock you over from wagging her tail and wiggling so hard with excitement every time she sees you. Although Stella is a perfect girl in the home, on leash, and with other dogs, she is scared of human strangers, especially masculine presenting people, and will need a strong advocate to help keep her safe. If you're looking for a great addition to your calm and cozy life with unconditional love to give, Stella is the gal for you. Stella would do best living with queer folks, a home without cis-gendered men, without cats, and without small children. Willow is 2 years old she is a house dog. She’s needs a person who is willing to give her attention and a lot of time. She’s a very sweet girl she needs a home were people have the time and patience for her because of my family’s schedule and living we aren’t able to give her the time and attention that she needs. She does bark at people because she’s not used to being around a lot of people but if they try to pet her she’s gets scared and runs back in her cage. Willow can be very vocal if she wants something. She also very alert and will know someone’s arrived at our home before we know. She does need leash training. I can say she needs a little bit of training me and my family aren’t able to afford that right now for and we really want to find her a home so that she able to be happy.
