She was a little unsure about the leash at first, but once she sniffed me out and accepted a treat, she was easy to loop and came out nicely. She walks at a slow, steady pace and seems to really enjoy taking her time.-In the yard, her favorite place was right beside me. She’s a gentle, somewhat timid girl who can be a little head shy. She has an eye that appears to have limited vision, so quick movements around her face can make her flinch. She is receiving treatment for it, and hopefully with some time, drops and medication, she’ll feel more comfortable.-She’s very treat motivated, knows how to sit, and takes treats beautifully. Toys? Not her thing! She’d much rather focus on her two favorite things: snacks and snuggles. She even gives the sweetest little kisses.-She’s a low-key, low-energy girl who seems happiest simply being close to her person. He quickly discovered that a lap and some reassurance made him feel much safer. After a few minutes of cuddles, his nerves settled and he began venturing out to explore on his own. Before long, he was coming right back to me and putting his paws up to ask for more attention.-He’s a skinny little guy who is very motivated by treats, which should make helping him learn his manners a lot of fun! He patiently sits for his snacks and was already making great progress with taking them more gently by the end of our time together. He’s receptive to learning and clearly wants to figure things out.-He isn’t interested in toys just yet, but he does enjoy affection and gives a few sweet kisses here and there. He also walks nicely with minimal pulling. Once he realized he was safe, we got to see more of his sweet personality come through. I'll need some time and extra training before I'm ready to be off the leash around kids. -I'm treat motivated, and take them gently (even apples and lettuce). I can sit, and I'm learning "stay." -I'm very good on a leash and love to stroll through the neighborhood and meeting all the new people. I'm nonreactive to passing dogs. -I'm playful with my foster sibling, but she doesn't like to play. I'd do well with a playful fur sibling, after slow and supervised introductions. -Once I'm relaxed, I'll smother you with cuddles and lean in for neck rubs. -I like laying in the sun and staring out the window, especially if I'm sitting near my people -I'm crate- and potty-trained! He jumped right into my lap and immediately showed me how much he loves pets and giving kisses.-He has plenty of happy puppy energy and is very food motivated, which will be wonderful for training! Once the snacks came out, he was all about them—sniffing around to see where the goodies were coming from and eagerly waiting for his turn. He knows “sit” and takes treats nicely, with just a little puppy enthusiasm mixed in as he sometimes creeps closer or pops up for them.-After a little while, he settled in between my legs and happily enjoyed some quiet pets and cuddles. It was sweet to see him shift from busy puppy mode into cuddle mode.-He walks nicely with minimal pulling and is a fun, affectionate youngster who will be a blast to continue training and growing with. He’s very goofy!Despite all his spunk, he walks very nicely on a leash. -He’s playful and seems to get a kick out of “shucking and jiving” to try to get away from you. It’s all a game to him and is adorable. Don’t worry…he ends up giving in and coming back for pets and lovin in the end! Toys on the other hand, seem to be a little scary. This little yellow ball went flying past him and he ducked! “Lady, what did I ever do to you!” 🎾 I tried to get him to engage with multiple different toys and he just wouldn’t.-Inside it took him a while to settle in. He was initially nervous, but in time, he laid between my legs for pets and all his worries melted away. I even got a few little kisses!-He is food motivated, sits most of the time (puppy brain) and takes them nicely-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. She is a loyal companion who loves to stay by your side and accompany you throughout your day. -A good belly rub is her absolute favorite! One of her favorite things is to lie belly up on the couch for a nice pet. -Her manners are impeccable. She is the perfect houseguest! Talisa is potty trained and does well in her crate while we are away. -She's incredibly gentle and friendly. While she is slow to approach at first, her tail is always wagging and you can tell she is trying to be brave! She quickly warms up to anyone who shows her love and affection. -Toys aren't really her thing right now, but she does love to chew on a good bone! She is incredibly food motivated and has already learned sit and wait with the help of some training treats. -Talisa enjoys nice slow strolls where she can sniff and explore her surroundings. He walks nicely on leash with only minimal pulling and appears to be house-trained, making a beeline outside to take care of business before anything else.
