If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Teeka, a 1 year 7 month old spayed female, Boxer mix, 42lbs. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! The amazing Teeka is on the hunt for her forever home. She specializes in best friending with an emphasis on playing! She currently lives with several larger dogs and is learning to respect their boundaries. She LOVES to play with them, but does need some help realizing when her foster siblings are ready to stop. She has not met any cats, so we’re not sure how she’d react to a feline sibling. Her foster mom says she’s done well meeting new human friends and is learning not to jump on them. Because of this and her high energy levels, we do recommend a home with older dog savvy kids. This smartie is house and crate trained! She sleeps quietly in her crate and is kenneled whenever her foster family is out of the house. We don’t recommend leaving her out unsupervised as she may help herself to whatever she finds in the kitchen. Teeka’s love for food is next level and she will try to sneak a bite from you or the other dog’s bowls, but has shown no signs of resource guarding. She is still working on her leash manners, but is getting better every day! She gets a little too excited when she sees other dogs, but is learning to calm down and continue on her walk. This happy girl absolutely loves toys! She knows where the toy basket is and will get one so you can join in the fun. She’s a huge fan of fetch and tug of war! Teeka is learning the joys of relaxing too. She loves to lay on your legs and get some pets and give some kisses. She’s happy just to be near her humans. Teeka is a young pup with boundless energy that will thrive in a home with a yard, daily exercise, training and patience. She’s a goofy, happy, loving girl and with just one look into those pretty doe eyes, your heart will melt! ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. Meet Churro! A Beautiful Boxer, Rigdeback mix breed dog with a wonderful personality. Churro loves to play, is friendly and curious. He learns fast and already knows; sit, down, stay, paw, wait, come, place, kennel and he is fully house trained and crate trained. He is almost leash trained, but still yanks when he sees a squirrel or sometimes another dog he wants to play with. He comes with his crate, crate bed, another large new bed, 3 leashes, a harness, chew resistant kibble holding toys, treats, food bowl and spill resistant water bowl and 2 dog brushes. He does not shed or very little. He has had all his shots and is neutered. He is absolutely ready for a new home! I am looking for a loving and active new home for Churro. The rehoming fee is to help cover the expenses I have in getting Churro off to a good start after rescuing him. Thank you.

Luma is a really good dog, fully house trained, listens well, very attention needy and very loving with all people. She doesn’t wanna look get very excited and likes to jump, and she does not get along with other animals from the 2 experiences I’ve had. I really hate to lose her but the location I’m moving to won’t allow dogs. She is so nice and loves to cuddle and even after getting neutered she still has all her energy.

An amazing dog, looking to rehome due to relocating to a place he will not be allowed. Creed is a pitbull (unsure if he is pure bred) born: June 19th 2022. He is not spayed or neutered. He is a great dog who listens and obeys orders, house trained and great with dogs and people. He is also crate trained. He is really kind and not aggressive at all. Very playful and has a lot of energy but also likes to sleep a lot. I will provide all medical records for proof. He has never shown signs of aggression towards anyone ever. I also have a kennel and harness that will go along with him. I am looking for someone to take him asap.

Welcome Gunner to the FHL Family! Gunner was found on Kennedy Road in Thomasville off of 109 and is a 50-pound Pit mix. He jumped into his foster's truck like he was meant to be in it. He's super friendly, loves to sunbathe, chew on his rope, and is a big fan of treats. Gunner loves to cuddle and sit in your lap. He is quiet in the car, and doesn't bark too much, unless his foster dad gets on the lawn mower. Gunner is neutered, housetrained, kennel trained, and does well with other dogs. So far, he doesn't seem to be a big fan of cats. He is heartworm positive and has started on his treatment, in which our rescue will be paying for until he is negative.
