Meet this incredible survivor! Found in Tipton County, this sweet boy was skin and bones, hairless, and overlooked by so many. We couldn’t leave him behind, and he’s come so far—from 17 to 36 lbs! With love, warmth, and plenty of food, his personality has blossomed. He adores other dogs, all people, his crate, and especially toys and sweaters. He’s house-trained, food-motivated, and ready for his forever home. Could it be with you? Once adopted he will travel via the Rescue Transport to his new family. They travel every weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the north east, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. Thanks for stopping by Ricky’s profile. You’ll be so glad you did. Ricky was a pleasant surprise that showed up to our home the morning of New Year’s Eve. We decided on the name Ricky because he’s so pretty, hence “pretty Ricky”. After a search for his owners leading to dead ends, we decided we would foster him until we could find him a LOVING forever home. His personality came out and we quickly discovered what a sweet and affectionate boy he is. He gets the zoomies and also loves to throw his toys around and chase after them. He loves to give hugs and wrap his front arms around you, if that isn’t enough to make you melt I don’t know what is. He can sit on command and is working on shaking. He does very well in his crate and is potty trained. He is now up to date on all vaccinations and is neutered. He will make a great addition to an active family.
