Story
Pluto is the definition of resilience and pure joy. This incredibly handsome boy was given a second chance at life after we rescued him from a shelter down south, where he ended up after being hit by a car. Thanks to a dedicated veterinary team, Pluto’s leg was saved, though he now gracefully gets around on three strong legs, using his saved leg mostly for balance. But don’t let that fool you – Pluto doesn’t let anything slow him down! He’s full of life, love, and endless tail wags. His absolute favorite thing in the world? People! Pluto is a total cuddle bug who soaks up every bit of affection he can get. His happy, eager-to-please personality makes him an absolute joy to be around. Pluto is looking for a home where he can be your one and only pet. In return, he promises to fill your heart with love and your days with laughter. He’s house-trained, enjoys the company of adults and older children (ages 12+), and would thrive best with a physically fenced-in yard where he can explore safely. Pluto is being fostered in Pottstown (Montgomery County), Pennsylvania and is ready to join a furever family ♥ www.mostlymuttz.org https://facebook.com/mostlymuttz PA Kennel License: 10872 PO Box 406 Gilbertsville, PA 19525 #handsomehunk #mostlymuttzrescue #totallovebug #adoptable #incredibleboy ##397632##

Story
Frank is a handsome adult Boxer-Bulldog mix with a tail that never stops wagging! This happy-go-lucky guy is all about the good life – whether he’s tossing around his favorite toy, soaking up the sunshine, or getting belly rubs from his favorite humans. Frank is great with kids and other dogs, making him an awesome companion for a family or a home with existing pups. He’s not a fan of cats (he thinks they’re meant to be chased), so a feline-free home is best. If you’re looking for a playful, outdoor-loving dog with a big smile and even bigger heart, Frank’s your guy. He’s neutered, fully vetted, and ready to bring joy to your home. We’d love nothing more than to see Frank finally make his way north. But for that to happen, he needs a committed foster or even better, a foster-to-adopt home. As a foster, we’ll provide everything you need to care for him. Frank is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm disease. The condition is curable, not contagious, and he’s receiving the proper care. We’ll send the remainder of his heartworm medication with him to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted recovery. Story
Jazzy’s story almost ended too soon—she was on the brink of euthanasia at an overcrowded shelter when a foster stepped up to save her. At the last minute, that plan fell through, but thankfully our rescue was able to take her in. Since then, she’s been charming everyone she meets. This stunning Boxer mix is full of life, love, and personality. Playful and adventurous, Jazzy is the perfect companion for someone who enjoys long walks, hikes, or simply getting out and about. She’s both house-trained and crate-trained, making her a wonderful roommate—though she admits she can’t resist an unattended snack! Jazzy currently lives with children and absolutely adores them. She’s affectionate, gentle, and always ready for snuggles during quiet moments. While she enjoys their company, she thrives best in a calm environment and would do well with children ages 8 and up who understand her need for a little peace and balance. Her foster family has also partnered with a trainer to set her up for success in her forever home. Smart and food-motivated, Jazzy learns quickly and is eager to please. She’s a great traveler, too—settling happily into the car and enjoying new adventures. Although unfamiliar noises may startle her at times, she recovers quickly and continues exploring with confidence. The one thing Jazzy is clear about: she wants to be the only dog in her new home. She’s ready to soak up all the love, attention, and loyalty she has to give without sharing the spotlight. Jazzy is fostered in Pottstown (Montgomery County), Pennsylvania, and ready to meet her forever family. Jazzy is in our Meet Me Program: Dogs featured in our Meet Me Program are participating simply because their foster or a dedicated volunteer is willing and able to take part—this is not based on breed, personality, behavior, or how long a dog has been waiting for a home. Because Mostly Muttz Rescue does not have a physical shelter location, this program allows adopters to connect directly with the people who know each dog best. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, learn more about daily life with the dog, and even schedule an individual meet & greet at an approved location—either before applying or while your application is pending. To get started, email meet_me@mostlymuttz.org with your contact information, and the dog’s foster or volunteer will be in touch. www.mostlymuttz.org https://facebook.com/mostlymuttz PA Kennel License: 10872 PO Box 406 Gilbertsville, PA 19525 #mostlymuttzrescue #oneandonly #bestgirl #brindlebeauty #boxermix #adoptable ##2187880##

Story
Everyone asks "what's his story" when we go out.  Honestly, not a clue.  I'm guessing another over filled shelter and he wasn't claimed and was there to long and he hit the euthanasia list.  It's sad and short ...BUT .... Just in time someone noticed the potential in this spirited black and white boxer mix and started him on his journey of a second chance. While he has been waiting for YOU to apply, he's been extra busy working on his puppy skills.... Cute just comes naturally for this guy! He is house broken and does well in his crate.  Car rides in his crate to special outings are no problem either ! Tate has ventured out to Cabelas in Hamburg, PA and loved the people he met and all the new sights and sounds.  By the end of our visit I am pretty sure that he thought we renamed him "Good Boy" because that's what everyone was saying about him.  He made lots of new friends. We went on a  trip to Copperz pup friendly patio (Hamburg, PA) for a special brew and an appetizer.  The staff and patrons were all impressed with this young mans social manners while greeting and welcoming everyone to our table. Tate has taken that adorable sweet face and ventured to Tractor Supply and to the Bernville Pet Spa Barking Lot event and has played with other foster friends there and enjoyed meeting ALL the people.  He has really excelled independently and responds to foster well while being out.   He has mastered the task of "working from home" and will politely sit on his "work" blanket with his chew bones.  He does expect breaks and plenty of kibble treats.  When you speak to him, pet or rub his ears he stretches his neck to show off those chin freckles !! He is treat motivated and eager to learn and pretty quick to sit for more treats. Tate is very comfortable on the leash and enjoys going for walks. TOYS !!     Fetch.. yes the kind of game where he actually brings the toy back to you !!  He loves gnawing on chew bones.  His energy makes every game entertaining for everyone. His canine foster brothers are 90 pounds and ready to play.  Tate approaches playing with a big voice and a lot of enthusiasm.  After a slow introduction, Tate figured out these big dogs weren't "stealing" his toys ... This was a game...  His big personality shows as he steals from the Big Boys.   Possibly a nice fenced yard to play fetch and a person of his own to focus on could be what he's looking for or he'd do well with a family as well.  Tate has a way of just figuring out what you want and fitting in.  Once work is done and playtime energy is spent.... Tate loves snuggling up on the hassock to relax and take a good nap. Tate is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered in anticipation of his forever home and is being fostered in Mohrsville (Berks County) Pennsylvania. Fill out an application (it's free) and tell us why you might be that special person for Tate's next chapter in life. Story
Maggie is looking for a new adventure. Her owners are elderly and want her to be able to have a more active lifestyle. She’s a 5 1/2 year old Boxer mix. She loves people and is great with kids. She loves going for walks. She does well in the car and has made a few trips to and from Florida. She is fully house trained and loves her crate. She has been the only dog in the home but is fine with other dogs at the groomers. Cats are unknown. She would be a perfect family or companion dog.July 22, 2026, 4:22 pm
