Meet Ordelia (A534493)!Ordelia is a gentle, thoughtful pup who is still learning how to feel confident in new situations. She can be a little nervous at first, but she warms up quickly—especially if you have a few tasty treats to share. She takes them gently and appreciates kind words and soft pets.On walks, Ordelia does beautifully—she’s easy to leash, curious about her surroundings, and enjoys quietly observing the world around her. While she’s still figuring out dog-to-dog interactions, she’s tolerant and would likely do best with calm, respectful canine friends or as the only dog where she can blossom at her own pace. This sweet girl is looking for a patient and loving adopter who will give her the time and reassurance she needs to truly shine. With trust and kindness, Ordelia is sure to become a devoted companion.

Meet Netta, a sweet and low-maintenance companion who knows the value of a good nap and a belly rub! She’s fully housetrained, sleeps soundly through the night, and loves nothing more than curling up on the couch with her favorite human. Netta enjoys leisurely walks, taking in all the scents along the way—just be prepared for a burst of excitement if a squirrel crosses her path! She has an adorable `tap dance` routine when she wants attention, and her expressive white eyebrows give her the distinguished look of a wise old soul. If you`re looking for a calm, affectionate pup who will remind you to slow down and enjoy life’s little moments, Netta is your girl!Netta is a HIDDEN GEM, meaning her adoption fees are $0 thanks to Friends of Montgomery County Animals (FMCA) who have agreed to sponsor her adoption fees!

No, not the fruit—but she is just as sweet and guaranteed to make you smile! This goofy girl loves playing with her favorite toys. Disks are her jam, and—if she feels like it—she might even bring them back. She’s still deciding if returning the ball is truly necessary (we respect her creative process).Banana is the life of the party; she knows when to play hard and when to just chill out. Don’t get it twisted, though—she’ll still politely demand her signature butt scratches (that’s her favorite spot). She’s a total people pleaser with a heart as golden as her name. Banana also knows sit and shake.Come meet this lovable goofball today and see why everyone’s shouting, “Baaanaaanaa!” when they meet her!

Story
Cocoa is a gorgeous boxer mix with the sweetest, most soulful eyes. Her mama was only 30 lbs, so we don’t expect Cocoa to be a big girl. She’s wonderful with other dogs, cats, and especially kids, making her an easy fit for just about any home. Cocoa is potty and crate trained, fully vaccinated, and up to date on preventatives. She’s playful and fun but knows how to settle down quickly—an absolute dream companion. Fenced yard and another friendly pup in the home preferred. The adoption fee for this dog is $500. Application for adoption: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FRE/Dog If you are viewing on Petfinder/Adoptapet and cannot see photos or would like to apply for this dog please visit our website, www.frecklesfoundation.org. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! Puppies require an adopter who is home a good part of the day to continue their training! They are up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives. Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue cannot guarantee the exact age or breed of any animal in our care. The age and breed listed are based on information we may have been provided, and the appearance of the animal.

My name is Pup Blossom, and I’m one of three adorable pups in my litter (my siblings are Baby Rusty and Baby Harvest). Story
Dante is a sweet, affectionate, and low-maintenance dog with a gentle, goofy personality. Dante is very intelligent, responds well to commands, and absolutely loves to cuddle—this is one of his favorite things and definitely worth emphasizing! Dante is fully potty trained and sleeps through the night without waking up early. He rarely has accidents and will usually let you know when he needs to go outside. He isn’t overly energetic, making him a great companion for a calmer household, but he does enjoy playing with his stuffed toys and happily chewing on bones. He is also great with kids (with supervision due to his size) and has lived happily with another dog in the past. Making the decision to re-home Dante has been incredibly difficult. I am moving out of the country to attend a two-year graduate program, and unfortunately I don’t have the financial means to bring him with me. My priority is finding him a loving, stable home where he will continue to be cherished.
