Story
At just over 4 months old, Lucky is a boxer mix with an explorative spirit hiding under the calm demeanor of an older puppy. At home, he is polite and respectful of his surroundings, only ever playing with his toys in his designated play area. Outside, he is intensely curious about the world but can be quite cautious when meeting new faces because he was the runt of the litter. His favorite things in life right now are chewing on bones and spending time outside in the sun.   Lucky is doing great with housetraining and consistently runs to the door when he needs to go. He is comfortable spending time in his crate during the day while his foster family is working and quietly sleeps the day away waiting for the evening when people are available to play. He is currently working on learning "sit" and "paw". Lucky is great with baths and handles nail trimmings like a champ.    Lucky would thrive best in a household with a yard or with outdoorsy people as his dream is to be an entomologist and study bugs. Once introduced, Lucky is good with both cats and dogs in the house. As long as the other dog isn't too rough, he will invite them to play. Lucky gives cats a wide berth and waits patiently if they are in his way. He is good around children and would be a great family dog, however he may pick a favorite person.  Adoption fee includes: first 2 DAPP, bordetella, deworming, flea preventatives, heartworm test, microchip Adoption fee: $525.00   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
I’m an 8-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Boxer mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for my people. My life was turned upside down when my old family left me at a high-intake shelter, but my foster mom helped me heal, feel safe again, and remember what it’s like to be loved. Now I’m ready to find a forever family who won’t ever give up on me. I’m a polite girl with great house manners — I only chew on my toys (never shoes!), and I absolutely love squeaky toys and cozy donut beds. I’m also a champion sleeper and perfectly happy to snooze in with you on quiet mornings. Walks are one of my favorite things! Long, sniffy walks make me so happy, and I’m a wonderful adventure buddy. Sometimes I get a little reactive when I see other dogs on leash, but I’m learning every day. With some patience and positive training, I might even enjoy living with another dog after slow introductions. I adore people and I can’t wait to become someone’s loyal best friend. I’m healthy, spayed, and so excited to start my next chapter. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, toy-collecting snugglebug who’s ready to be your whole world… I think we should meet. Love, Hunie. Adoption fee: $375, includes first 2 DAPP, bordetella, sterilized, heartworm test, dewormed, flea preventative, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Frank 70 pounds of brindle, emotional support shadow, and absolutely unsolicited snuggles. Frank is an 8-year-old Boxer mix rescued from Kentucky, and he has fully committed himself to living his best second-chance life. His hobbies include supervising humans, aggressively leaning against your legs for affection, patrolling the yard for squirrels of questionable intent, and attempting to become a lap dog despite being approximately the size of a small loveseat. Frank is the kind of dog who believes life is better when experienced together. Going outside? Frank’s coming. Watching TV? Frank has already picked his side of the couch. Need personal space? Frank respectfully disagrees. He’s a classic Boxer mix — goofy, affectionate, comical, and wildly devoted to his people. Underneath all 70 pounds of handsome brindle muscle is a giant marshmallow who thrives on attention and happily soaks up every bit of love you’re willing to offer. Frank is great on a leash, knows several commands, and loves walks, yard time, and generally participating in whatever his humans are doing. He’s good with kids, though he may occasionally forget that enthusiasm and body-slamming affection are not technically the same thing. At 8 years old, Frank has achieved the perfect balance of playful and cozy. He still enjoys adventures and zoomie moments, but he’s also deeply committed to couch time and quality snuggling. If you’ve been searching for a big-hearted goofball who will keep you laughing, follow you everywhere, and love you with his entire oversized self, Frank is ready to report for duty.Frank is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for this dog is $250 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. Story
Ordelia is funny, loyal, and very sweet. She makes a loveable companion. Ordelia loves her humans and enjoys following them around the house very interested in whatever you are doing. She does love to snuggle and will settle down next to you while you`re working, reading a book or to binge watch your favorite tv shows! She loves playing ball but her rope toy is her favorite. Ordelia also loves walks, sniffing is one of her favorite pastimes. Ordelia does have a few quirks. She loves greeting humans but she does so with a loud `hello` bark -- she has one volume generally speaking and it can be off putting to some folks at first.  Another quirk is that when on walks, Ordelia is overly interested in other dogs. Sometimes it seems as if she wants to play and others she seems protective. She also LOVES kids but does not like strollers!? We can say, if you are looking for a cute and reliable companion – Ordelia is your gal.

Story
Meet Orange Blossom! Orange Blossom is as sweet as her name suggests. This lovely girl has been incredibly gentle and patient during her stay, happily soaking up attention from staff during her treatments and taking treats with the softest manners. She loves spending time with her people and is always ready to lean in for a little extra affection.Orange Blossom is also a smart pup who enjoys learning! She loves working on simple training exercises, is eager to engage with her handlers, and walks nicely on her harness while taking in the world around her. She has a relaxed, affectionate personality and truly shines when she has one-on-one time with her favorite humans.Because shelter life can be overwhelming, Orange Blossom has shown that she can become overstimulated around other dogs, especially when they`re barking or nearby on leash. For that reason, she`d be happiest as the only dog in her new home, where she can enjoy a calmer environment and be the center of your attention. She has so much love to give and would thrive in a home where she doesn`t have to share it.

Story
Chelsea – The Dog Who Will Choose You Chelsea has been waiting. She came to us as a military boarder, and when it was time to go home—no one came back for her. Communication stopped. Payments stopped. And since May 2025, Chelsea has been here, quietly waiting for someone who will actually show up for her. And here’s the part people miss— she’s still a really good dog. What Chelsea Is Really Like Chelsea is calm, observant, and thoughtful. She doesn’t throw herself at strangers or demand attention—but that’s not a flaw. That’s what makes her different. Because when Chelsea trusts you… everything changes. She becomes: Playful Affectionate Cuddly Completely connected to her person She doesn’t give that to everyone. She gives it to her person. The Right Home for Chelsea Chelsea needs: A calm, lower-traffic home No children Someone who respects that trust takes time A person who wants a real bond—not just a dog that loves everyone She is neutral in public, manageable, and has made real progress with structure and guidance at K9netic Pack. She knows how to exist in the world—she just needs someone to give her a place in it. What You’re Getting You’re not getting chaos. You’re not getting a project. You’re getting a dog who: Bonds deeply Loves hard once she trusts Settles into your life Becomes yours Final Thoughts Chelsea has been overlooked because she doesn’t perform for strangers. But the right person is going to see her—and realize she’s exactly what they’ve been looking for. She’s not for everyone. She’s for someone who wants something real. And when she chooses you, you’ll understand why she was worth the wait. 📍 Located in Poolesville, MD 📚 Adoption includes support through K9netic Pack Apply to adopt Chelsea: www.underdogdivision.org
