Story
Hello there, we adopted Davies about two months ago and we tried with him we really did but he seems to have a lot of trauma from past owners and he is missing his teeth on the right side of his face and is jaw is crooked so he eats a little funny. He has exhibited very destructive behavior towards property and himself but never to other people he’s demeanor is sweet when not left alone but we both work and it’s just not working out we need him to be rehoused within the next day or two if possible. Please reach out to anyone that wants to take him. Behavioral issues there are many but he is not violent towards people or other dogs if anything he seems to be afraid of some dogs but he is not violent towards them.We were told of his behavior issues before we took but we never realized they were as bad as they are so we really no longer can keep him. We are desperate but also don’t want him to suffer but his place is not with us anymore.

Story
This girl is the calmest sweetest dog I have ever had the pleasure of fostering. She seems to like the "s" sound for her name so we picked Sweet Sadie! Sweet Sadie follows you outside, she wags her nubby little tail when you give her treats. She loves treats! She is great with everything and everyone! We are just working on potty training which is some success and some oops. Currently she is fighting kennel cough, it is prevalent here. She is eating well and will have a weight check to make sure she is gaining weight. She can not be spayed until she is healthy. 9yrs she spent outside! 9yrs not next to her person! 9 yrs wanting and waiting! If you are looking for an under 45 lb, quiet, good with everything and everyone, crate trained, walks well on a leash and good house manners with a little more work on pottying, please apply for this girl. She has never even barked! Sweet Sadie just wants a retirement that is full of love and cuddles, yet if you want a walking buddy she is ready to accompany you! Let's find her a home with a warm bed before winter!

Story
Bosco is a five month old boxer mix who is full of energy and ready for adventure. That is, as long as his favorite people are with him. He is still shy around strangers but warms up quickly once he knows you have treats.    Bosco will play fetch for hours if your arm can handle it, but if not, he is also happy to play with his toys independently or chew on his bone in his play area. During the day, he settles nicely into his crate and naps the day away waiting for the evening when he can play.    He is good about his housetraining and will run to the door when he needs to go. Very occasionally, he has an accident if he is playing too hard. He also knows how to sit for a treat although he is usually too excited to wait for the treat. Currently he is learning how to walk better on a leash.   Bosco gets along with everyone that can handle his energy. He plays well with his foster brother (an older standard poodle) and does not bother the cats in the house. He is great with the older children in the neighborhood and has successfully met small children while on leash. Bosco would do best with an active family or a house with a yard. Story
I’m an 8-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Boxer mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for my people. My life was turned upside down when my old family left me at a high-intake shelter, but my foster mom helped me heal, feel safe again, and remember what it’s like to be loved. Now I’m ready to find a forever family who won’t ever give up on me. I’m a polite girl with great house manners — I only chew on my toys (never shoes!), and I absolutely love squeaky toys and cozy donut beds. I’m also a champion sleeper and perfectly happy to snooze in with you on quiet mornings. Walks are one of my favorite things! Long, sniffy walks make me so happy, and I’m a wonderful adventure buddy. Sometimes I get a little reactive when I see other dogs on leash, but I’m learning every day. With some patience and positive training, I might even enjoy living with another dog after slow introductions. I adore people and I can’t wait to become someone’s loyal best friend. I’m healthy, spayed, and so excited to start my next chapter. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, toy-collecting snugglebug who’s ready to be your whole world… I think we should meet. Love, Hunie. Adoption fee: $375, includes first 2 DAPP, bordetella, sterilized, heartworm test, dewormed, flea preventative, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Meet Oakland!! If you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Oakland is your girl! Whether you’re relaxing on the couch, working from home, or spending time with family, she is happiest simply sharing space with her people. She has a wonderfully gentle disposition that makes her a breeze around children and brand-new visitors alike. She knows her boundaries, respects your space, and saves her energy for sweet tail wags and cozy cuddle sessions. She is doing well on potty training. She's good in a crate, but does need a little encouragement to get in. We don't know her history, so it's possible she had been kept in a crate for extended periods in her previous home:( She’s a funny, friendly girl; the perfect blend of playful Boxer sweetness and low-maintenance household companion.** If you're viewing this on Petfinder, please visit www.petconnectrescue.org to complete our adoption questionnaire.** The adoption fee for this dog is $425. Routine vetting and spay or neuter surgery are included in the adoption fee. For more information, please email email Jeannette at jbingaman@petconnectrescue.org
