Story
Kitty and Cat are the very best of friends. They are two beautiful, gentle souls who have shared their lives in perfect harmony. They play together, nap side by side, and show their deep affection for one another and their people every single day. These affectionate girls are currently facing a heartbreaking change. Their beloved owner has been diagnosed with a terminal illness and has only a few short months left. Her deepest wish is to find a safe, quiet, and loving home where her precious girls can continue to be cherished. MI Kitty is a devoted companion. Once she bonds with you, she’ll follow you from room to room, always wanting to be involved in whatever you’re doing. She’s a chatty girl who loves to talk and will bump her head against yours for kisses. On cool nights, she’ll curl up on your chest for warmth and love. Her favorite pastimes include chasing her feather wand toy and sipping water in the most endearing way, by delicately dipping her paw into her water bowl. Cat is a calm and affectionate beauty with a stunning calico coat. She seeks out gentle affection, softly rubbing against you to say hello. She enjoys lounging by her people, playing with toys, and keeping an eye on the household from her favorite perch on the cat tree. Cat especially loves watching "Cat TV" on YouTube. Chirping birds and swimming goldfish are her favorites! Kitty and Cat are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. They will thrive in a quiet, loving home where they can continue to share their days with kind hearted humans who will honor the love they had with their original owner. If you have space in your heart and home for these two sweet girls, you won’t just be giving them a safe place, you’ll be fulfilling a final wish made out of pure love. Kitty and Cat: -are up to date on vaccines -microchipped and spayed -tested negative for FEL/FIV -prefer mature children only -currently live with a small dog Adoption Fees are: $150+$150 ($300) All Adoption Fees go toward providing medical and wellness care for all rescued animals under the loving care of Heavenly Paws. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. &#226&#128&#139Hello! I am stage 5 cuddler Frankiebean! Friendly social kitty who previously lived with 5 males, so I would really like a home to call my own now! I absolutely love being held and playing with a laser light or cat toy. If you are looking for your perfect companion, look no further! I’d love to become a part of your family. Spayed & UTD on shots. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. January 27, 2026, 8:54 am

Story
I purchased Ginger from a someone for my daughter a bday gift. We were told that Ginger was a girl when got him. While using the restroom room one day, he came in and I seen his man parts and realized she was a boy. By that time, he wouldn’t not entertain any other name so Ginger stuck. He’s vary skittish but once he gets attached and trust you, he’s clingy. He loves to play with toys, especially lazors in the dark. He also loves watching tv. His fav movies are Secret Life of Pets, Pets United and Hotel Transylvania. He loves to be warm and comfortable. If you can’t find him around the house, he’s probably in the smallest and darkest place. He tends to hide behind the furnace, under the bed and he’s even been under the sink in the bathroom. Ginger likes his box clean and will use it elsewhere If it’s not. Our second cat Spencer died and he was so sad. He’s now getting his appetite back. My daughter had a baby and we are both too busy to keep him. Looking for an amazing home for him.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Princess Aurora is a beautiful dilute calico. She is a wonderful, loving kitten. She becomes attached to her owner. She is on the calmer side for kittens She is playful and gets along well with other cats and kittens. She is also good with dogs that don't chase cats. She does take time to get comfortable in new settings. Princess Aurora is litter trained her vaccines are up-to-date and she is spayed. If you are interested in making princess Aurora a part of your family fill out an application at Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. Happy Days Dog & Cat Rescue requires a Spay/Neuter Contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization at the time of adoption. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. HDDCR holds a deposit [$50 for dogs, $25 for cats] in addition to the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog or cat was spayed/neutered by the date stipulated on the Spay/Neuter Contract. The deposit will be refunded to the adopter if spay/neuter was done according to the Spay/Neuter Contract signed by the adopter.   Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The microchip is transferred to the adopter once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a one-time $15 microchip enrollment fee, paid at the time of adoption.  Microchips are enrolled with AKC Reunite.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Story
Lolita and Bodhi are a bonded pair and will be adopted together  Lolita is a calico through and through—full of personality, opinions, and charm. She’s delightfully sassy and chatty, often sharing her thoughts from the highest perch in the house, where she can keep a watchful eye on everything below. Lolita likes to do things on her own terms, and while she’s not always a lap cat, she does have a softer side she saves for quiet moments when she feels extra safe (we suspect she might just be a little bashful about it). She’s a master of hide-and-seek, and you’ll often spot just the tip of her tail peeking out from under the couch or hear mysterious clanks and adventures happening in the basement. Lolita has a gentle, caring heart, especially when it comes to Bodhi—she’ll curl up with him and seems to understand when he’s not feeling his best. Though she used to play tag with him more often, these days she shows her love in calmer, more tender ways. Lolita would thrive in a home that appreciates her independent spirit, her quiet affection, and the special bond she forms with those she trusts. ##2188605##
