This princess was adopted from FCS as a kitten in 2021. She was adopted with a kitten from another litter, but they never bonded. She was returned to us in June because she had become unsocial, spending most of her time in the basement. When she came back to us, we discovered that she had an extremem case of eosinophilic plaques on her body, but mostly on her stomach. She was uncomfortable and shut down. She has since been treated for this auto-immune issue with prednisolone when she has flare ups. We suspect this was contributing to her anti-social behavior in her last home.  The reality is, Oakley is an adventurous and loving cat who loves pets.  She will push her head into your hand and rise up on her back legs like a meercat. Oakley loves to tell you her opinion on what she is thinking and loudly! She is a cat who loves to play and loves to look out windows.  Oakley is looking for someone who can enjoy a single cat who will love you fiercely. Angie Baby is a sweet little girl. She loves to be held and loves to play. She gets along with other cats, small dogs and children. She is ideal for any type of owner: a single person, an elderly person, a couple, a family with kids, as an only pet or with other cats &/or dogs. She was born in November 2025. She has been spayed & is up to date on her vaccinations. This animal is being fostered in TN but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. She once shared her home happily with other cats, including an older kitty she was especially close to. One by one, her feline companions passed away from old age, and since losing her favorite friend, she has struggled. There is also a small dog in the home, and although they are the same age, she is simply afraid of dogs. She now spends much of her time hiding away. Her family is keeping them separated, but they know that isn't the life this sweet girl deserves. They want her to have the chance to thrive again, in a peaceful home where she doesn't have to live in fear. She has previously loved living with other cats, so a calm feline companion may be just what she needs. A quiet, dog-free homewould be ideal. Her family loves her tremendously, and this decision is breaking their hearts. They are willing to send her with everything to help make the transition easier: her bed, food, treats, catnip, litter, and soft-sided carrier. Sometimes loving an animal means recognizing that the home they need may be different from the home we can give them. This approximately 2-year-old, 13-pound hunk of muscle has traded his neighborhood-cat days for indoor life—and he has plenty of opinions about it. Ichi is very talkative, incredibly social, and a total cuddle bug. He loves chatting with his people, climbing into laps, making biscuits, and being involved in whatever is happening. He seems to have never met a stranger and has happily climbed into the laps of people he just met! He also loves toys, being brushed, and surprisingly enjoys his personal spa treatments—including nail trims and ear cleanings. Ichi seems to do well with other cats and could enjoy a feline friend with proper introductions, but he may also be happy as a spoiled solo cat with plenty of toys and attention.
