Charlotte is 14 years old. We got her as a kitten from a family friend. She is very cuddly once she gains your trust. She prefers calm atmospheres. Gets startled easily and is afraid of dogs. She loves to nap on your lap during movies and is a good girl at night. A quiet place to live would be so wonderful for her!

Meet Wren 🐾 Wren’s story began in a warehouse, where this tiny little girl was found all alone at just 3 weeks old. There was no mama cat, no siblings, and no one to care for her. She was covered in fleas and already fighting so hard to survive. Thankfully, Wren found her way into rescue, where her amazing foster family stepped in and bottle-fed her, cared for her, and gave her all the love she needed to grow. Against the odds, this little fighter thrived. ❤️ Now, at 3 months old, Wren is a beautiful calico/tortie with a BIG personality to match her adorable face. She is opinionated, sassy, playful, and incredibly cuddly. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid to let you know it! Once she's ready for snuggles, though, she's happy to curl up with her people and soak up all the affection. Wren is also wonderfully social and does great with other cats, dogs, and gentle children. She has come such a long way from the tiny, flea-covered kitten fighting to survive in that warehouse. Now she's healthy, happy, spayed, vaccinated, and ready for the part of her story we've been waiting for — finding her forever family. 🏡💕 If you're looking for a playful little companion with plenty of sass and an enormous heart, Wren may be your girl! This princess was adopted from FCS as a kitten in 2021. She was adopted with a kitten from another litter, but they never bonded. She was returned to us in June because she had become unsocial, spending most of her time in the basement. When she came back to us, we discovered that she had an extremem case of eosinophilic plaques on her body, but mostly on her stomach. She was uncomfortable and shut down. She has since been treated for this auto-immune issue with prednisolone when she has flare ups. We suspect this was contributing to her anti-social behavior in her last home.  The reality is, Oakley is an adventurous and loving cat who loves pets.  She will push her head into your hand and rise up on her back legs like a meercat. Oakley loves to tell you her opinion on what she is thinking and loudly! She is a cat who loves to play and loves to look out windows.  Oakley is looking for someone who can enjoy a single cat who will love you fiercely. Oakley would prefer a quiet home where she is the only cat and there are no young children. She once shared her home happily with other cats, including an older kitty she was especially close to. One by one, her feline companions passed away from old age, and since losing her favorite friend, she has struggled. There is also a small dog in the home, and although they are the same age, she is simply afraid of dogs. She now spends much of her time hiding away. Her family is keeping them separated, but they know that isn't the life this sweet girl deserves. They want her to have the chance to thrive again, in a peaceful home where she doesn't have to live in fear. She has previously loved living with other cats, so a calm feline companion may be just what she needs. A quiet, dog-free homewould be ideal. Her family loves her tremendously, and this decision is breaking their hearts. They are willing to send her with everything to help make the transition easier: her bed, food, treats, catnip, litter, and soft-sided carrier. Sometimes loving an animal means recognizing that the home they need may be different from the home we can give them. This little lady deserves sunny windows, cozy beds, gentle companionship, and the freedom to come out of hiding.  Interested in giving her that home? Please email Making Miracles Animal Rescue at mmarpaws@gmail.com and we will put you in touch with her family. Please share. Her peaceful little retirement home might be waiting somewhere in your friends list. ❤️Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.  Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. Thanks to a caring neighbor who couldn't look away, our rescue brought her to safety—and she hasn't looked back since! Since moving into her foster home, Charlee has fully embraced the indoor life. She is the ultimate "chill cat" with a gentle spirit, a playful side, and a motor-like purr that kicks in as soon as the pets and chin scratches start. Her absolute favorite activity is simply being near her humans, soaking up affection, and enjoying the peaceful life. MEET ARTHUR! He'll win you over with just one look. Picture those big, soulful Puss in Boots eyes staring up at you... now imagine them attached to the most charming, cuddly kitten you've ever met. That's Arthur. Rescued after a kind stranger found him outside and refused to walk away, Arthur (around 4 months old) has turned out to be an absolute gem. He's friendly, confident, and outgoing from the moment you meet him — no long warm-up period here. Arthur trusts easily, loves easily, and wants nothing more than to be curled up in your lap as soon as possible. This little guy is pure playful energy wrapped in a purr. Wand toys send him into an all-out frenzy of joy, and he greets every new toy like it's the best thing he's ever seen. When he's not busy being a tiny tornado of fun, you'll find him snacking, snuggling up for pets, or perched at the window supervising the neighborhood birds and squirrels. Arthur would thrive in an active home where he can be right in the middle of the action — playing, romping, and soaking up all the attention he can get. He's also looking for a fellow kitty to call his best friend, someone to play and cuddle with. Those big eyes, that big personality — Arthur has main-character energy and he's ready to charm his way into your home.
