Story
This pretty calico was abandoned at an apartment complex, where one of our Colony Feeders found her very pregnant. She was immediately taken into Foster and had her six little babies soon after. She is a wonderful mama and she is a very sweet cat who deserves a better. Candy was living outside when she was found and taken in to foster. Like a lot of female cats that live outside she was pregnant. She gave birth to 6 little babies while in her foster home. Candy is an awesome protective mom. Her babies are ready to find their homes and so is she.  Candy is a bit sassy. She gives love bites and will sometimes swat at your hand or leg. Candy loves being petted especially under the chin. Candy doesn't like any of the resident cats. Her ideal home would be a home with no other cats and older children that can understand her sassiness.  Please complete an application to meet her as she is in a foster home with her babies. ##2038613##

Story
Spice is less than a year old, coming up on her birthday real soon. Loveable cat that recently had kittens and now needs a new home to call her own. Preferably would want to send her and 3 of her kittens somewhere, but I would be happy to find each of them a home as quick as possible. She loves savory meat snacks such as chicken, so if you want to spoil her she wouldn't mind a nibble.

Story
Meet Dr. Mort (for short!), a super sweet cat with the most soulful eyes. Dr. Mort is a big, young guy with lots of love to share. He’s sweet and calm and loves to sit by the window and watch the world go by. He’d make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a relaxed and affectionate young cat. Dr. Mort is also FIV positive but do not be afraid to adopt him. Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) is one of the most common diseases of cats around the world. Here is more info about FIV How do cats get the feline immunodeficiency virus? The most common route of infection is a deep bite wound from an FIV-positive cat to another cat. It can also be transmitted via blood, in utero and from the milk of an infected mother cat. It is very rare for cats to get FIV just from being around infected cats, sharing food bowls, or from a person touching an FIV-positive cat and then touching an FIV-negative cat. Many FIV-positive cats and FIV-negative cats live together in the same home for years without spreading the virus to the non-infected cats. Can FIV be treated? There are no proven treatments to rid a cat of FIV. Most FIV-positive cats handle the disease well, but it is important to concentrate on treating the secondary illnesses. Can cats with the virus have a good and long life? Yes, FIV-positive cats can live normal lives, both in quality and duration. They just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. But if they are well cared for, they can be healthy, happy, wonderful pets. Can FIV-negative and FIV-positive cats live together? Yes, as long as the cats get along and do not fight. The risk of an FIV-positive cat spreading the virus to an FIV-negative cat can be minimized by putting both cats in separate rooms until you are confident that they will not fight with each other. If you are interested in adopting me, we strongly encourage you to fill out an adoption app beforehand. ADOPTION APPLICATION .
