Story
Hello! Willow is a sweet cuddly type of cat! She was born feb.28th.2025 and is up to date with her vaccinations! I’m sadly already in Florida and the foster family she was with is leaving the country. With a heavy heart I need her to find a loving forever home who can take care of her and give her so much love. Sadly I don’t know her exact breed since her parents are from the streets.

Story
I was watching two cats for someone who had unfortunately fallen on worser times and became homeless so I offered to watch the cats for a period of 6 months and give him time to get everything together until the time came and he cut communication and hasn’t reached out since, I have cats of my own aswell which peaches seems to want her own independent space and attention which has lead to any unfavorable environment for her, my cats aswell myself and my child with her starting to urinate in the crib aswell other places from the stress of being a more independent animal which most calicos are outside of these recent issues she’s very friendly towards people and is overall very affectionate/cuddly and has gotten along with others cats and still does amongst calmer breeds. I’m just looking for a safe home for her so every cat, person can feel more comfortable.

Story
Kitty and Cat are the very best of friends. They are two beautiful, gentle souls who have shared their lives in perfect harmony. They play together, nap side by side, and show their deep affection for one another and their people every single day. These affectionate girls are currently facing a heartbreaking change. Their beloved owner has been diagnosed with a terminal illness and has only a few short months left. Her deepest wish is to find a safe, quiet, and loving home where her precious girls can continue to be cherished. MI Kitty is a devoted companion. Once she bonds with you, she’ll follow you from room to room, always wanting to be involved in whatever you’re doing. She’s a chatty girl who loves to talk and will bump her head against yours for kisses. On cool nights, she’ll curl up on your chest for warmth and love. Her favorite pastimes include chasing her feather wand toy and sipping water in the most endearing way, by delicately dipping her paw into her water bowl. Cat is a calm and affectionate beauty with a stunning calico coat. She seeks out gentle affection, softly rubbing against you to say hello. She enjoys lounging by her people, playing with toys, and keeping an eye on the household from her favorite perch on the cat tree. Cat especially loves watching "Cat TV" on YouTube. Chirping birds and swimming goldfish are her favorites! Kitty and Cat are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. They will thrive in a quiet, loving home where they can continue to share their days with kind hearted humans who will honor the love they had with their original owner. If you have space in your heart and home for these two sweet girls, you won’t just be giving them a safe place, you’ll be fulfilling a final wish made out of pure love. Kitty and Cat: -are up to date on vaccines -microchipped and spayed -tested negative for FEL/FIV -prefer mature children only -currently live with a small dog Adoption Fees are: $150+$150 ($300) All Adoption Fees go toward providing medical and wellness care for all rescued animals under the loving care of Heavenly Paws. Story
These lovely calico sisters are Angel & Stormy. Stormy was a young mother who came with 3 newborn kitten and her sister. She was a wonderful mom to her kittens, but was afraid of people. After the kittens were adopted, Stormy bonded with her sister Angel. Angel was also leary of people, but a bit more trusting. Their foster began the patient process of socializing them. They've progressed tremendously but have a ways to go. Angel has discovered that she loves to be pet and purrs loud like a motor to let us know she is happy. Stormy likes to play, but still keeps a distance and has not yet discovered the joys of petting. They both sleep on their foster's bed at night and like to be near her. They are often curled up together napping, or playing together with their toys. They are sweet, gentle, quiet, and shy. They will do well in a home that is calm and quiet with someone special who can meet them at their level and build their confidence. They are available for foster or adoption. Their foster has done amazing work with them, but has others to care for as well. Angel & Stormy would benefit from someone who can carry the torch and focus on them directly. They are young about 3 years old, fixed and fully vetted. Angel is the one always pictured in front. She has the most natural confidence, so Stormy feels safe snoozing behind her.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tweety Bird was thrown out of her $500,000 home into a winter storm at night with a cardboard box and a blanket in it cruelly in the freezing rain and snow while her owner left to go out of country for a few months. She was starved, had ear mites, is front paw declawed and about 8 years old.  She has had a very rough start in life, but we think she was loved at one time and someone most likely gave her away to her last cruel owner.  She developed a very bad cold as well in the freezing cold in December.  Tweety was also missing some teeth sadly and had a painful mouth requiring a few more teeth to be extracted.  A good Samaritan put her in her vehicle and tried to help her as much as they could.    We stepped in to rescue her but sadly don’t have a foster home open for her right now, so she is in a boarding facility.  Tweety recently had a dental, blood panel and vaccines and is very healthy now and waiting for her perfect home.   Tweety absolutely loves being held, she'll fall asleep in your arms or lap and purr extremely loud. She doesn’t seem comfortable around other kitties yet so a home without kitties or slow introductions with a separate room to start with would be great for her.   Could you be the loving home this beautiful pint size beauty deserves? Please consider this sweet kitty. A senior or a quiet home would be perfect for this middle-aged lap girl.   Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 28, 2026, 4:27 am

Story
I rescued this sweet cat from the cold streets of Westland where she was suffering in freezing weather. She's pregnant (due soon) and very gentle/affectionate despite her rough start. She is good with the litter box and has her own stuff My apartment strictly prohibits pets, so I can't keep her or the upcoming kittens. I'm looking for a loving, stable home—ideally experienced with pregnant cats or litters—where she can birth safely indoors, get vet care, and live happily with patient people. A quiet, no-other-aggressive-pets home preferred. She's friendly, calm, and seeks attention.

Story
Meet Lola 🖤 Lola is a stunning black, medium-haired beauty with the fluffiest coat and an absolutely irresistible face. Born in a loading dock in Romulus alongside her six siblings, Lola’s life changed just hours after birth when her devoted mom, Diana, and the entire little family were rescued and brought safely indoors. Since then, Lola has grown up surrounded by love and security, and it shows. She’s playful, a little silly, and incredibly affectionate — the kind of girl who brings both fun and warmth wherever she goes. Her fluffy looks may grab your attention first, but it’s her sweet, loving personality that truly steals hearts. Lola thrives with feline companionship and would love to be adopted with one of her siblings. If that’s not possible, a home with a young, friendly, playful cat is a must for her happiness and confidence. If you’re looking for a gorgeous, affectionate kitty with a playful spirit and a big heart, Lola is ready to be your new best friend. Lola is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

Story
Meet Panda & Binx! Looking for double the love, double the cuddles, and double the charm? Say hello to Panda and Binx, a bonded sibling pair who are ready to bring joy (and a little chonk) into your life! At 6 years old, Panda (the handsome tuxedo gentleman) and Binx (the sleek panther princess) have mastered the art of cozy living. These two are professional lap cats, enthusiastic door greeters, and experts at snuggling—both with each other and their people. Treats are a big hit in this household, and their delightfully chonky figures prove they take snack time very seriously. Panda is the confident ambassador of the pair—friendly, outgoing, and always happy to check out new visitors first. Binx prefers a more cautious approach. She’ll send Panda ahead to investigate, and once she decides you pass the vibe check, she’ll happily join in for cuddles and claim a lap of her own. These siblings share a special bond and are looking for a forever home together, where they can continue their life of love, lounging, and treat appreciation side by side. If your home has room for two affectionate, adorable best friends, Panda and Binx are ready to move in and steal your heart Panda & Binx are currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting them, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. Story
Meet Colin & Glenn – The Ultimate Brother Duo We truly can’t figure out how Colin and Glenn are still waiting for their forever home. Good looks? Check. Friendly? Check. Affectionate and loving? Check. Playful without the chaotic kitten energy? Big check. Love other cats? Double check. Treat motivated? Honestly… more like treat obsessed. Colin and Glenn are bonded brothers and proud FIP graduates — now healthy, happy, and fully ready to start their next chapter together. They are deeply devoted to one another and would thrive in a calm, loving home where they can continue being best friends. Glenn is the sleek, stunning black panther of the pair. He’s a world-class cuddler who adores his foster mom and shows his affection with nonstop purring and enthusiastic biscuit-making. Personal space is optional in Glenn’s world — he is always ready for snuggles and attention. Colin is a strikingly marked tabby with a slightly more reserved personality, but don’t be fooled — he is just as loving. He enjoys curling up close and will politely (and repeatedly) meow for more pets when he decides he hasn’t had enough. These boys grew up around other cats and genuinely enjoy feline company. They love to play together, chasing each other around and going absolutely wild for string toys. When playtime is over, they’re happiest relaxing together, soaking up love. If you’re looking for a ridiculously handsome, affectionate, playful (but not over-the-top) bonded pair to bring warmth and joy into your home, Colin & Glenn are your guys. Colin & Glenn are currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
