🧡 Meet Mandarino — The Little Lion Who Finally Hit the Jackpot**Located in a Seattle,WA are Foster home****Mandarino is proof that sometimes the cats who have had the hardest lives become the ones who appreciate every little bit of comfort the most.**This handsome orange gentleman spent his days fending for himself on the streets before coming into the care of Wet Noses Rescue. Now, he’s discovered something he never knew he was missing: **a soft bed, regular meals, loving humans, and a safe place to finally relax.**Mandarino is an **FIV-positive senior gentleman**, almost completely toothless except for one adorable little **snaggle tooth**. And somehow, despite having very few teeth, he still LOVES his kibble! 😂 He’s happy to eat, nap, play and enjoy all the good things life has to offer. For a while, Mandarino served as our **Vet Clinic Greeter and Office Assistant**, where he was always happy to supervise the humans and remind everyone that a little cat company makes every workday better. But his foster home in **Tumwater, Washington** has shown him just how wonderful life can be when he doesn’t have to share his space with a busy shelter full of cats. And honestly? **He thinks he’s won the kitty lottery.** 🥰Mandarino is a sweet, affectionate and respectful boy who enjoys human companionship and would love a person or family who appreciates a more laid-back gentleman. He’s perfectly happy to be near you, soak up some attention, take a cozy nap and then have a little playtime when the mood strikes.🐾 What about other pets?Mandarino can do well with **calm, friendly cats who respect his personal space**. He is **not a fan of kittens or overly playful cats** who want to constantly chase, wrestle or invade his bubble. He is also comfortable around **cat-friendly dogs**, particularly those who understand that a gentleman like Mandarino deserves his space.Mandarino isn't looking for a house full of chaos. He's looking for a **peaceful, loving home where he can relax and enjoy his retirement years**.After everything this little lion has been through, his favorite part of life now seems to be simply knowing that he is safe, loved and cared for.He is currently enjoying life in his foster home in **Tumwater, WA**, where he is patiently waiting for the person who will look past his age, FIV status and missing teeth and see what we see:**A wonderfully resilient, funny, affectionate old soul who deserves to finally be someone's very own.** 🧡Could that person be you?🚗 **Transportation:** Wet Noses Rescue can help arrange transport for Mandarino within the **United States and Canada**, so the right home doesn't have to be nearby. If you're looking for a quiet, lovable companion who would be happiest simply being near you, Mandarino may be exactly the gentleman you've been waiting for. ❤️He has our complete Cat protocol :* Complete Health exam by a Vet* Feline tests to rule out FeLV, FIV & Heartworm* Bloodwork 1: CBC (Mycoplasma check if indicated)* Bloodwork 2: Chem profile* Deworming at intake and monthly thereafter* Vaccines: Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (FVR), Feline Distemper (FP), Calicivirus (FCV), Rabies* Spay/Neuter* Flea/Tick prevention* MicrochippedPlease send us an application at : wetnosesrescue.org/adoption-application-Cats
