They were living in a small pet carrier for over a year when we rescued them from a hoarding situation. They have been decompressing for a couple of months with us in one of our amazing foster homes and it has been a labor of love but now it is time for them to find their forever humans. They are approximately 2 years old and we have promised them that the rest of their lives they will be surrounded by love and affection. Mutt is the cream and white boy and he is still quite shy, but every day we see him healing more and more. He had a very broken spirit when he first came to us but now his foster mom can hold him in her lap and he is thoroughly enjoying all the love he is receiving. When he is not in her lap he is usually sleeping in his plush bed or in a cubbie in the cat tree. Jeff has a solid cream coat and has become very social and has a huge purr. He loves to play and enjoys pets and kisses from his foster mom. He definitely is the more outgoing of the two and will be the first one to seek out attention. We want to place them together because they are very bonded, especially because of the ordeal they survived. We are hoping that someone will see their story and want to give these two wonderful boys a chance at the life they deserve! They have been neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. Their adoption fee together is $250. They are also sweet and funny and will bring joy and laughter to any home. They can be adopted individually or in a bonded pair. They could also join a home with a resident cat, cat savvy dog, and children. Here are some individual characteristics about each of them. Macaroni - He is the master of mischief. He often mistakes the paper towel roll for his personal playground and sets out in creating the world's largest confetti pile. He is very friendly and is sure to keep you entertained with his antics. If you're looking for a kitty to add a touch of hilarity to your life, Macaroni's your guy. He promises to keep the paper towel shredding to a minimum in his new home.  Penne - His elegant tuxedo coat makes him a real looker. He is Macaroni's partner in crime. Yep, he is a paper towel shredder too, but he is also the feline embodiment of friendliness, cuddliness, and loyalty. He has an adventurous spirit, and his antics are sure to bring laughter and joy to your daily life. He loves to be held and doted on. Tortellini - He is full of curiosity and intelligence. He has a quick mind and is always at work, solving puzzles and exploring his surroundings. He's also an expert at finding the coziest and strangest spots for a catnap. She has a more passive temperament but is engaging with her humans and loves to be loved. She gets along great with the resident cats in her foster home. And at 5 months old they are a fabulous bunch. They have been wonderfully socialized in their foster home and all of them have amazing personalities. They are sweet, loving, affectionate and playful. Since being rescued her personality has really been 'blossoming' and her foster home reports she is enjoying all the love and attention she is getting. We think because of her temperament she would do fine with a cat savvy dog and older children. She can be a little picky about what cats she likes but if the introductions are done slow and steady we think she would be fine with another young cat in the home. She would love toys, a soft bed of her own, a cat tree and lots of yummy treats in her new home.
