Romi lived on the streets for the first two years of his life, fighting other critters. He was quite beat up when he came into his foster’s care. Romi was given all necessary medical care, vaccines, and was neutered. Six months later, he is a handsome and well-behaved boy who loves to be brushed and sleep in your lap. Kay gave birth in a baseball dugout, because who needs a hospital when you've got a dugout, right? It was the only safe place she could find, and at 8 months old, she was basically a baby herself. What she didn't know was that the summer heat would be unbearable in the dugout, but luckily a Good Samaritan came to her rescue. Since then, her babies have been adopted. Mama Kay is getting some much-needed rest and enjoying living indoors, playing with toys and living her best life. Kay does well with other indoor cats but is still fearful of dogs. She may learn to enjoy the company of dogs with a very slow introduction but a cat only home might be the best option for her. Jellybean will need time, patience and an extended period of royal acclimation (translation: a comfy confinement space, plenty of snacks and the occasional whispered compliment). Why this pet is the one for you:Minnie #968507 and Mies #446698 (pronounced Meece) are bonded sisters who are looking for a home together! They're currently in a foster home and we have had the joy of seeing them settle in and show their sweet, gentle natures. Relaxed and affectionate, they've only lived indoors in a calm, quiet home and will do best in a similar environment - they haven't ever lived with other pets or children. They may be shy at first, but with patience they warm up beautifully. Minnie could use a little diet and extra playtime, but both adore treats, daily brushing, wand toys and the occasional catnip party. They're tidy girls who do best with at least two jumbo litter boxes. Most days they nap together, then in the evenings cuddle on the couch, the bed or their kitty condos.
