Story
Age: 10 years old Gender: Male Breed: DSH Weight: 12 lbs Personality: Felipe was located in a very dangerous industrial area, where he was heavily abused by the local unhoused community. Because of the very hard life, this senior needs just a bit of time to build the trust. He’s not very active, but he loves playing with his toy mice and watching birds from his tree. His favorite spot is his heated bed, which helps soothe his old bones. Felipe sleeps most of the day and would do great even with a very hard-working individual, as his favorite time is the evening after dinner, when he can lay next to his person and soak up all the cuddles. He’s great with dogs and other cats that are calm and non-aggressive, any companion who will give him space and the peaceful days he deserves. Felipe does not like to be held, so his person will need to understand need for his space, but he will come and curl next to you for pets and brushing. He would do better in a house without kids. Education: Litter Box trained Favorite Activities: He loves playing with his toy mice and watching birds from his tree. His favorite spot is his heated bed or heated pad. He loves being brushed. Looking for: If you’re looking for a senior loving companion to share quiet evenings and heartfelt moments, Felipe Mister Man-Panther is your guy. Quiet and warm home, with no kids; dogs and cats are good, as long as other cats are peaceful. Felipe was around other non FIV positive cats as he is not aggressive and not a threat to other cats, so as long as other cats are friendly, he can live long and happy life around non FIV cats. Felipe sleeps most of the day and would do great even with a hard-working individual, as his favorite time is the evening after dinner, when he can lay next to his person and soak up all the cuddles. Felipe is FIV-positive, but that doesn’t stop him from living a normal life as long as his person helps out with good quality food, warm room and supplements to support his immune health. Due to missing few teeth, Felipe will require strictly wet food diet. Special needs: FIV positive, senior cat with limited mobility, uses stairs for his cat tree and stairs for him to get on bed. Can safely live with FIV Negative Cats that get along peacefully. Adoption Fee: $ 50 My adoption fee is $50 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, FIV/FeLV test, dewormer treatments, flea/tick preventative, and microchip. Story
The fluffer purrer! Hi! I am Cloud, a 7 months old, male DSH weighing about 7.5 lbs. I was rescued from a cat colony in Sorrento Valley with my family. I am litter box trained and been fixed too. I am an ultra cuddly boy and truly soft as a cloud. My nature is very sweet and I get along with other cats and kids. I love asking for pets! I would thrive in a home with another kitty for company, plenty of attention and love. My adoption fee is $150 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, FIV/FeLV test, dewormer treatments, flea/tick preventative, and microchip. Story
Age: 10 months old Gender: Female Breed: Domestic shorthair cat Weight: 7.5 lbs Personality: Miss RuPaul was found in a parking lot in Mississippi at just a couple weeks old and then was flown to TAP. She is very friendly and energetic. She loves to play and make biscuits on her fuzzy blanket. Like all babies she loves food and attention and if you’ve got those you’re good in her book! She is dog and kitty friendly and most likely good with kids (haven't met them yet). Education: She wears a diaper as she is incontinent. Favorite Activities: Playing with any toys but especially strings Looking for: A home where she will have toys and people to give her attention. Ideally no stairs she will need to go up or down. She is so full of love and playfulness. She is fearless and brings so much joy to the home she is in. She may look different but inside she is the exact same as any other kitten. If you need a ray of sunshine that’s Ru Paul! Special needs: Her back legs are paralyzed and she wears a diaper because she can not control when she goes to the bathroom. Paraplegic, suspect secondary to spinal trauma. No pain and no surgical intervention is needed. Adoption Fee: $ 50 ##2210441##

Story
Age: 5 Months Old Gender: Female Breed: Domestic Short Hair Weight: 5.5 lbs Personality: Cleo is a playful little adventurer! After spending several weeks in a splint, she’s absolutely loving her newfound freedom—zooming around, pouncing on toys, and exploring every nook and cranny. She loves to purr loudly! Cleo enjoys cuddles, especially if she can keep a toy close by, and will happily snuggle up once she’s finally tired herself out. Education: Litter Box trained Favorite Activities: Toys! Watching out the window. Cat trees. Looking for: With her playful spirit and big personality, Cleo is sure to be an endless source of entertainment. As long as she gets plenty of attention and playtime, she could thrive in many different homes. Special needs: Previous fracture of her right hind leg. Still regaining strength, limps a little. Unclear at this time if that leg will be 100% but we are hopeful and it does not slow her down at all! Adoption Fee: $ 125 ##2296984##

Story
Hi, I’m Bowlingball! I was rescued from the streets of Tijuana by a kind woman who made sure I got the care I needed with Smittens. After some much needed dental work and FeLV+ diagnosis, I’m feeling better than ever and I’m ready to find my forever home! I’m what you’d call a velcro cat - once I start cuddling, I don’t stop! In fact, you might risk being smothered in love before I let go. I’m an easygoing, affectionate, middle-aged gentleman who adores people and gets along great with other cats. And don’t worry, you’ll never have to guess when it’s mealtime - I’ll make sure you know! All I need now is a home where I can be showered with love, affection, and, of course, endless snuggles!Bowlingball is a healthy boy, however Feline Leukemia Virus is contagious to other cats. Bowlingball would need to be an only cat or live in a home with another FeLV+ cat. He will need regular veterinary checkups, a healthy diet, and an stress-free environment for him to live comfortably. Some cats live a few years, others live a full life.

Story
Hello, I’m Paola! I’m an adorable Manx tabby mix with a cute little stubby tail that makes me even more lovable. My journey to Smittens wasn’t the easiest - I arrived with three other buddies (who have already found their forever homes!) facing a skin infection, needing some socializing, and requiring dental care. But thanks to the amazing care from Smittens and my wonderful foster mom, I’m feeling much better now! I’m all healed up and ready to find my forever family. I’m a curious, independent little lady who loves to roam and discover new things - I can easily keep myself entertained! I’m a toy-chasing pro who hops around like a little bunny when I’m on the pounce - playtime is my favorite time! Scratch pads are my favorite - I don’t just scratch them, I turn them into my personal lounge spots! I’ll be your perfect bedtime companion, snuggling right by your side all night long. I adore adult humans, though I can be a bit shy at first. Give me a couple of weeks, and I’ll settle in, build trust, and start to act like I own the place! Once I’m comfortable, I love coming up for attention and have plenty of affection to offer. I’m all about the pets - until I decide it’s time for a break. In my foster home, I felt like I may not be the best fit for homes with male cats - but slow introductions and patience are best with all animals. I’m excited to find my forever family where I can truly shine and receive all the love I deserve!
