Story
Age: 10 months old Gender: Female Breed: Domestic shorthair cat Weight: 7.5 lbs Personality: Miss RuPaul was found in a parking lot in Mississippi at just a couple weeks old and then was flown to TAP. She is very friendly and energetic. She loves to play and make biscuits on her fuzzy blanket. Like all babies she loves food and attention and if you’ve got those you’re good in her book! She is dog and kitty friendly and most likely good with kids (haven't met them yet). Education: She wears a diaper as she is incontinent. Favorite Activities: Playing with any toys but especially strings Looking for: A home where she will have toys and people to give her attention. Ideally no stairs she will need to go up or down. She is so full of love and playfulness. She is fearless and brings so much joy to the home she is in. She may look different but inside she is the exact same as any other kitten. If you need a ray of sunshine that’s Ru Paul! Special needs: Her back legs are paralyzed and she wears a diaper because she can not control when she goes to the bathroom. Paraplegic, suspect secondary to spinal trauma. No pain and no surgical intervention is needed. Adoption Fee: $ 50 ##2210441##

Story
Hi! My name is Bowlingball and here is a bit more about me :My JourneyI was rescued from the streets of Tijuana by a kind woman who made sure I got the help I needed through Smittens. I had some dental issues when I arrived, including stomatitis, but after a full mouth extraction I’m feeling fantastic—comfortable, pain-free, and happier than ever. I was also diagnosed as FeLV+, and with proper care and lots of love, I’m thriving and ready to find my forever home.My Social LifePeople are my absolute favorite. I adore human companionship and want to be as close to you as possible at all times. Other cats ? I get along well with other cats, but because I’m FeLV+, I’ll need to be either your one-and-only or live with another FeLV+ kitty. Dogs ? I haven’t shared much about dogs yet, but my calm, easygoing nature suggests I’d do best in a peaceful, predictable environment. My PersonalityAffectionate, easygoing, and devoted.I’m a true “velcro cat”—once I start cuddling, I don’t stop. I’m a mellow, middle-aged gentleman with a big heart, a loud purr, and a talent for making sure no one ever feels lonely. I’m also quite expressive, especially when it’s time to eat—I believe communication is key!I Enjoy…Endless snuggles and lap timeBeing close to my humans (very close!)Mealtime—and reminding you when it’s approachingA calm, cozy home where I can relax and feel safeI’m Not a Fan Of…Too much stress or chaos. I do best in a relaxed environment where routines are gentle and affection is plentiful. What Makes Me SpecialI’m the ultimate cuddle companion—affectionate to my core and happiest when wrapped up in love. I’ve been through a lot and come out the other side sweeter than ever, with a deep appreciation for comfort, care, and connection. My Perfect HomeI’d thrive in a loving home where I can soak up attention and enjoy a calm, stress-free lifestyle. Whether as a cherished only cat or with another FeLV+ feline friend, I’m ready to be someone’s loyal, snuggly shadow. My Special Needs / Health InfoI’m FeLV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus), which means I’ll need to be an only cat or live with another FeLV+ cat. FeLV is contagious only to other cats—not people or other animals. I’ll need regular veterinary checkups, a good diet, and a low-stress environment to help me stay healthy. Some FeLV+ cats live just a few years, while others live a normal lifespan—I’m cu

Story
Hi! My name is Camden and here is a little more about me:My JourneyI began my journey as a devoted young mama, raising five kittens on the streets. Thanks to a caring trapper and shelter, my kittens were safely rescued and adopted into loving homes. After I was spayed, the plan was for me to return outdoors—but it quickly became clear that I truly enjoy the company of people. Instead of going back outside, I was given the chance to experience indoor life, and I’ve been embracing it with enthusiasm. My Social LifeOther cats: I’ve spent my life looking out for myself on the streets, so I can be protective of my space. I’m still unsure how I feel about other cats and may prefer to be the only feline in the home—for now.Dogs: I haven’t met dogs yet, so I’m still figuring out how I feel about them.Kids: I would likely do best with older, gentle children who understand boundaries. My PersonalityI’m observant, independent, and quietly confident. I know how to take care of myself, but I also enjoy human companionship and the comforts of indoor life. I have a playful streak and a strong sense of awareness—I like to know what’s happening around me and feel secure in my space.I Enjoy…Lounging on a window perch and watching the world go byWet food treats (they’re a favorite!)Playing with my circular track toy and expertly stopping the spinning ball mid-chaseCalm, predictable routines that help me feel safe and settledI’m Not a Fan Of…Feeling crowded or pressured by other catsSudden changes without time to adjustA slow, respectful approach helps me feel comfortable and confident. What Makes Me SpecialI’m a strong, loving mama who successfully raised her kittens against the odds—and now it’s my turn to be cared for. My impressive ball-chasing skills and sharp reflexes are pretty fun to watch, too!My Perfect HomeI’m looking for a calm, loving indoor home where I can enjoy being the center of attention. A home where I can be the only cat, relax on a sunny windowsill, and build trust at my own pace would be ideal. I’m so excited to start this next chapter of my life—and I can’t wait to share it with my forever family.

Story
Hi! My name is Neapolitan and here is more about me :My JourneyI was found abandoned with my sibling in an underserved colony in Tijuana, Mexico. A kind woman rescued us and made sure we received all the care we needed, including vaccines and our spay surgeries. My sibling has already found a forever home, and I was connected with Alma and placed into foster care—where I’ve been thriving ever since. My Social LifeOther cats ? I get along well with other cats and usually adjust within just a few days. I adapt quickly to new environments and warm up to people fast. Dogs ? I can also live with cat-friendly dogs, though I may need a few days to feel fully comfortable around them.Kids ? I’m very playful and energetic, and sometimes I give gentle, playful nibbles when I’m excited (nothing harsh!). Because of that, I’d do best in a home with older, cat-savvy kids rather than toddlers. My PersonalityAdventurous and confidentSmart and adaptableEasygoing and curiousI handle change well and enjoy figuring out my surroundings.I EnjoyChasing tiny toy mice and small ballsHead scratches and tasty treatsClimbing cat trees and hanging out on high surfacesExploring and staying mentally engagedI’m Not a Fan OfBaths aren’t my favorite thing! I can handle them when needed, but I do best with a gentle approach—using a bucket and cup for rinsing instead of running water, which I really don’t like. What Makes Me SpecialI’m a quick learner with a big personality. My foster says I have “golden retriever energy in a cat body.” I understand routines, respond to verbal cues like “no,” respect other pets’ boundaries, and adapt easily to new situations. Once I bond with you, I bring a lot of joy into everyday life.My Perfect HomeI’d love a home with a consistent, loving family. I enjoy following my people around, but I also appreciate having my own space when I need it.I’m a great fit for both first-time cat guardians and experienced cat lovers. I have a nice balance of energy and calm, and I can thrive in many types of homes, especially ones where I can explore, communicate, and feel included as part of the family.

Story
Hi! My name is Sucre and here is a bit more about me :My JourneyI come from a colony/community cat background in Huntington Beach / LA County. Life outdoors taught me to be cautious, but kind humans helped me transition to a safer, indoor life where I can slowly learn to feel secure and loved. My Social LifeI’m a gentle soul who may be shy at first and prefer to observe from a cozy hiding spot. Once I start to feel safe, I allow gentle affection—especially from patient humans who let me set the pace. I’m the kind of cat who forms quiet, meaningful bonds.Dogs ? I haven’t met dogs yet, so slow and gentle introductions would be best.Kids ? With kind, respectful “mini humans,” I may do well as I continue to grow and gain confidence. My PersonalitySoft-hearted, cautious, and sweet.True to my tortoiseshell reputation, I have a little “tortie attitude,” but it’s balanced with sensitivity and charm. With time and consistency, my curious and affectionate side begins to shine.I Enjoy…Chin scratches (my absolute favorite)Quiet spaces where I can feel safeGentle, respectful interactionsWatching the world from a cozy hideawayI’m Not a Fan Of…I don’t enjoy being rushed or overwhelmed. Sudden movements or loud environments can be stressful for me, especially while I’m still learning to trust. What Makes Me SpecialI have a beautiful tortoiseshell coat to match my classic tortie personality. Earning my trust is incredibly rewarding—once I choose you, those chin scratches become extra special. My Perfect HomeI would do best in a calm, patient home with humans who understand that love sometimes takes time. If you’re willing to move at my pace, I promise a sweet, gentle connection that grows stronger every day.
