FeLV + Kitty needs home!!! YES these beautiful kitties have FeLV but they are not sick. They just need to be in a home with other FeLV + cats. IF you have an open home for this bonded pair they are awesome or if you know anyone with FeLV cats please share!! Meet Friday and Sunday, 7 month old male/female combo we call the dynamic duo! If you want cuddly, playful & affectionate cats, then look no further! These kitties are the definition of friendly. Friday and Sunday are bonded and would do best to remain in the same home. Although they love snuggling and playing with each other, they have their own little quirks. Sunday, the gorgeous gray kitty, loves being by her humans side as much as possibly while Friday, the beautifully patterned kitty is a bit more independent. Their personalities help make them the perfect pair! Have questions about this dynamic duo? Please reach out to us at info@spotsavespets.org and we will be happy to answer! We want the best for these kitties.

Story
How this pet arrived: Pedi Paws and Jack were brought in by their previous owner on November 23, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you: Meet Jack and Pedi Paws (#177433), two best friends looking for a loving new home together! Pedi Paws isn't actually running a high-end feline nail salon - but with those dainty toes and careful steps, she does walk like she's on a tiny runway. Jack, meanwhile, isn't climbing beanstalks - his preferred adventure is claiming the warmest sunspot in the room. Both cats are sensitive to change, so they'll need a calm, consistent home where they can settle in at their own pace. Once they're comfortable, they're all about soft pets and lounging in their favorite spot as they casually begin taking over your home in the most endearing way. They've done well with a small, cat-savvy dog and do best with older respectful kids who understand that great cats sometimes need a moment before the curtain rises on their personalities. Pedi Paws will supervise household happenings with refined paw-fessionalism, while Jack contributes with his signature "cool guy" vibe. Together, they bring double the whiskers, double the character and double the fun. These two do have dental disease and have at least one tooth (per cat) that will need to be extracted - we would love to go over options with you, if you want to bring them home! When it's time to bring them home, please remember to pack two secure carriers - they're best friends, but they still prefer their own seats for the ride. At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home!Shy/Fearful Cat: Pedi Paws and Jack require a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. Primary Color: Red Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 15.0625 Age: 10yrs 11mths 1wks

Story
How this pet arrived:Flower was brought in by his previous owner on December 20, 2025.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Flower, a sensitive soul with a heart of gold who just needs the right "garden" to truly bloom! While he might start off as a bit of a wallflower, this boy has a spunky side that shines through once he knows he's safe. Flower will thrive best in a calm, quiet and predictable home where he can be the center of attention. He's looking for a dog-free environment with savvy humans aged 12 and up who are ready to follow expert coaching. Building a friendship with Flower is all about the "slow and steady" approach, using high-value treats and delicate play to win him over. He's already shown he can be quite social when introductions are handled with care, but he'll definitely need an extended acclimation period to get his bearings. Keeping his stress levels low isn't just about his mood - it's vital for his health! Flower has a history of urinary issues, including a past obstruction, which means his new family needs to be vigilant. If you have the patience to let him set the pace and the commitment to manage his medical needs, Flower is ready to reward you with a lifetime of quiet companionship and gentle purrs. He's a special boy who just needs a special person to recognize that the most beautiful flowers sometimes take a little extra time to open up. Don't forget to bring a secure cat carrier for a safe ride home!Shy/Fearful Cat: Flower requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about him. Primary Color: Black Weight: 8.38 Age: 5yrs 4mths 1wks

Story
How this pet arrived: Jellybean was brought in by a community member on January 5, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Jellybean is a cat with a PhD in Napping and a master's degree in Blanket Burrowing. Her hobbies include perfecting the art of hide-and-seek (spoiler: she always wins), curling up in her beloved hidey tent, and judging the world from a safe, elevated perch. She's looking for a quiet, peaceful kingdom where she can rule with a soft paw - no rambunctious dogs or tiny humans, please! Jellybean will need time, patience and an extended period of royal acclimation (translation: a comfy confinement space, plenty of snacks and the occasional whispered compliment). Win her heart with tasty treats, fun toys and a gentle approach, and you'll be rewarded with a steadfast and loyal companion. Jellybean does enjoy petting - especially chin rubs - from her favorite people and she will reward you with purrs and maybe a little drool! She isn't very demanding and loves her alone time for extended naps. If you're ready to offer Jellybean the cozy paradise she deserves, fill out the interest form above! At SDHS:Jellybean has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She is now ready for her new home! Story
How this pet arrived:Heather Grey was brought in by her previous owner on January 10, 2026.Why this pet is the one for you:Heather Grey is a lovely feline looking for just the right match - someone who appreciates the quiet art of winning a shy cat's heart. With a history of being fearful around new people, she's the type who prefers to observe from a safe distance. Because of her sensitive nature and tendency to hide when overwhelmed, Heather Grey should go to a dog‑free and kid-free home and will need an extended confinement period at first so her new family can monitor her eating, litter box habits, and whereabouts. Her ideal setup includes a calm, low‑traffic household with cozy hiding spots and elevated perches where she can feel secure while she acclimates. Building trust with Heather Grey is a marathon, not a sprint-her adopters should avoid forcing interactions and instead offer gentle slow blinks, quiet companionship, tasty food, and treats as invitations for connection. With time and patience, she'll reveal her sweet and steady charm. If you are ready to bring this soft‑spoken girl home, don't forget a large, hard‑sided plastic carrier to ensure a safe and stress‑free ride!Shy/Fearful Cat:Heather Grey requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about her. IN FOSTER: Mies and Minnie's foster is committed to helping them find a new family! To begin the adoption process, please reach out to the foster directly at: lesliesdhsfostervolunteer@gmail.com. How this pet arrived: Mies was brought in by a community member on October 4, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Minnie #968507 and Mies #446698 (pronounced Meece) are bonded sisters who are looking for a home together! They're currently in a foster home and we have had the joy of seeing them settle in and show their sweet, gentle natures. Relaxed and affectionate, they've only lived indoors in a calm, quiet home and will do best in a similar environment - they haven't ever lived with other pets or children. They may be shy at first, but with patience they warm up beautifully. Minnie could use a little diet and extra playtime, but both adore treats, daily brushing, wand toys and the occasional catnip party. They're tidy girls who do best with at least two jumbo litter boxes. Most days they nap together, then in the evenings cuddle on the couch, the bed or their kitty condos. They enjoy both wet and dry food, and "squeeze-up" treats are a favorite. If you think these sweet sisters might be the right fit, reach out about adopting today! At SDHS:Mies has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She is now ready for her new home! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 11.8 Age: 7yrs 8mths 2wks
