Story
Need to rehome Willow as my brother passed away and we can't keep the cat because my husband is allergic to cats. My brother took very good care of her and hoped when he passed we would find someone who loved her as much as he did. She is a mild small cat who will be turning 4 in April. She is an indoor cat only. She loves to play with her toys, and enjoys laying on the window ledge warming in the sun. We have the vet records for immunizations and spaying available. She is pretty and very clean. If you would enjoy being her new owner please contact me at (xxx) xxx-xxxx . Thank you!

Story
Letting go of Oscar is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. He’s been by my side since 2019—a sweet, quirky Scottish Fold with a big heart and quiet personality. He’s been the perfect companion to me and my wife, always nearby, always full of love—once he trusts you. Oscar is a shy cat at first. He tends to hide when new people come around, but if you give him time and space, you’ll be rewarded with his affection. He loves belly rubs, brushing sessions, and curling up next to you at night. He’s never been aggressive with humans—only gentle, loyal, and affectionate. Why We’re Rehoming Him Oscar doesn’t get along with our other cat. The problems started during COVID when his neutering had to be delayed. Since then, his aggression toward our other cat has never gone away, despite our best efforts. We’ve kept them in separate areas of the house for years, rotated their time with us, and given them equal love and care. But it’s reached a point where keeping them apart…

Story
MEET SONOMA! Sonoma was rescued from Devore Animal Shelter in November 2024 when he was just a month old, along with his mom, Fontana, and siblings Concord, Darlington, and Daytona. Too young to remember the shelter, he has grown up entirely in the safety and love of his foster home as part of the "NASCAR family." As very young kittens, the entire litter was quite ill, and while Sonoma recovered well overall, he was left with mild nerve damage in his hip area as a result of that early illness. Despite this, Sonoma is a happy, playful, and affectionate boy who enjoys life to the fullest. He loves chin scratches, responds with eager purrs, and is always ready for playtime--especially if it involves crunch balls, crinkle chutes, or cardboard boxes. His mobility and activity level are normal, and the nerve damage does not limit his ability to run, play, or enjoy daily life. He does occasionally experience urinary incontinence, something that is manageable and currently being supported with acupuncture treatments, which have been helping. Sonoma is otherwise a healthy, content, and loving cat. Sonoma is deeply bonded to his brother Darlington, and the two are constant companions--playing together, cuddling, and providing comfort and confidence to one another. Ideally, they would be adopted together into a calm, understanding home that values companionship and is comfortable with Sonoma's minor ongoing care needs. They are the last two kittens from their litter still waiting for a forever home. If you're ready to welcome this devoted pair into your life, please visit www.kittydevorerescue.org to submit an adoption application. ** Please note: Sonoma currently resides in a foster home in San Marcos, CA (San Diego County). Once an adoption application is approved, meet-and-greets are held at the foster home. Approved adopters should be prepared to travel for the visit.

Story
MEET DARLINGTON! Darlington was rescued from Devore Animal Shelter in November 2024 when he was just a month old, along with his mom, Fontana, and siblings Concord, Sonoma, and Daytona. Too young to remember the shelter, he has grown up entirely in the safety and comfort of his foster home. As a very young kitten, Darlington and his littermates were quite ill, but thanks to attentive care and lots of love, he made a full recovery and is now healthy, active, and thriving. Gentle, affectionate, and playful, Darlington is a sweetheart who adores chin scratches, lap snuggles, and cozy companionship. He’s also a joyful little character who loves collecting crunch balls, zooming through crinkle chutes, and investigating boxes as if they hold great secrets. Darlington is especially bonded to his brother Sonoma, and the two are rarely far apart—playing, lounging, and keeping each other company with an easy, affectionate rhythm that speaks to their deep connection. Darlington would thrive in a calm, loving home that values companionship and is open to welcoming a bonded pair. Ideally, he and Sonoma would be adopted together, as they are the last two kittens from their litter still waiting for a forever home and bring out the very best in one another. If you’re ready to open your heart to Darlington (and hopefully his brother Sonoma too), please visit www.kittydevorerescue.org to submit an adoption application. ** Please note: Darlington currently resides in a foster home in San Marcos, CA (San Diego County). Once an adoption application is approved, meet-and-greets are held at the foster home. Approved adopters should be prepared to travel for the visit.

Story
Evie is a sweet and beautiful girl.  She loves petting and loves her people.  She does not like other animals (even though she lives in a community cat room) and is very vocal about it.  We think she would prefer to be an only girl.  She can be bossy and bit her mom in her prior home (after being her sweet self) so we think she would be best in a home where she cannot be in control.  Can this gorgeous and friendly girl join your family?   Email anna.willis@sbcglobal.net if you would like to meet herOctober 7, 2025, 2:51 pm
