Story
Betty Boo is a playful and independent girl who brings energy and joy to any home! She’s a high-energy young cat who loves chasing toys across the house, especially her favorite—plastic cat springs that glide perfectly across the hardwood floor. While she enjoys a good wand toy session, she’s also great at entertaining herself, batting around any toy she finds. At bedtime, you’ll find her curled up in a cozy cat bed or perched on a cat tree. Though she’s not the first to approach, once you find her snuggled on the couch or in bed, she happily welcomes pets and cuddles, purring contentedly. Betty also has a soft spot for Churu treats and will patiently sit with a paw on your leg, gently asking for more. She’s not a fan of being picked up but loves laying down for belly rubs, especially after a long play session. Betty is good with other cats, considerate kids, and adores her brother, Orange Julius. While she enjoys her independence, she knows how to share space and affection. With her silly "meep" meow and spirited energy, Betty would thrive in a home with a patient family who’s ready to give her time to adjust and appreciates a playful, independent cat who loves fun as much as she loves a good cuddle. Could you be her forever family? Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.  This cat is in a foster home and can be met there. Story
Arwen – Queen of the Shy, Guardian of the Windowsill Like her namesake, Arwen is a quiet and graceful soul, watching over her domain with keen eyes and a heart full of mystery. This 4-year, 10-month-old tabby may start off reserved, but given time, she will forge an unbreakable bond with her chosen companions.   Once trust is earned, Arwen reveals her affectionate side—curling up in your lap when it suits her royal whims and keeping watch from the foot of the bed at night. She delights in the chase, dashing after a string as if she were hunting in the wilds of Rivendell, pouncing on her beloved sock like a fierce warrior, and batting paper balls across the floor in a game of feline football.   A lover of peaceful observation, Arwen spends much of her time lounging in sunbeams, surveying the world beyond the window, and indulging in a bit of "cat TV" on YouTube, where she can marvel at birds and squirrels without ever leaving her perch.   Arwen seeks a home as serene as Lothlórien—quiet, relaxed, and free from the clamor of loud noises. While she has lived with another kitten in the past, she has since ruled her kingdom alone and would need time to adjust to any new furry companions. She has not yet encountered children, so a patient, understanding household would be best for her noble spirit.   Fully up to date on her vaccines, Arwen is ready to find her own Fellowship—a guardian who will grant her the time she needs to settle in and, in return, be rewarded with the love and loyalty of a truly enchanting feline. Arwen is being cared for by a member of the community.  To arrange to meet this cat or find out more, please fill out our application here: https://www.thedancingcat.org/adopt-courtesy For more information regarding our Courtesy Posts, see www.thedancingcat.org/courtesy-postsFebruary 24, 2025, 6:48 pm
