Story
Bindi is a sweet girl with a beautiful gray marble tabby and white coat. She was rescued with her sisters from under a freeway overpass. Bindi is shy around new people at first, so she would do best with someone who is experienced with cat body language and behavior. Once she's comfortable and settled in she's a real love bug. She likes to play with toys and be pet, but prefers not to be picked up. She is laid back and would do well in a quiet home with no children, and someone who will give her a lot of love. She would also do best as an only cat. Bindi loves the catio her foster mom built! This allows her to enjoy the outdoors safely, while inside a large, enclosed area. s to be pet and play with toys. She's not outgoing with strangers. Once she's comfortable, she's mellow and likes to lay around a lot. She is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, and microchipped. This cat is being cared for by a member of the community.  To arrange to meet this cat or find out more, email us at courtesy@thedancingcat.org.  March 8, 2026, 1:51 am

Story
Meet Binx & Nina A Perfectly Paired Brother–Sister Duo Binx and Nina are a bonded sibling pair with twice the love to give and hearts that are happiest together. Binx, the handsome all-black older brother, is sleek, soulful, and quietly devoted. Though he’s the big brother, he and Nina are almost the same size — making them an adorable matching set. Binx has a calm, steady presence and enjoys lounging nearby, keeping a watchful eye on his surroundings (and his sister). His eye can occasionally become irritated, but it’s easily managed with simple treatment, and he handles it like the champ he is. Nina, the younger white-and-grey tabi sister, is the playful spark of the pair. She has a puppy-like personality — she loves to play, follow her people around, and happily be scooped up and held. Affectionate and full of charm, Nina brings joyful energy wherever she goes and isn’t shy about asking for attention. Together, they balance each other beautifully. Binx’s gentle steadiness complements Nina’s playful enthusiasm, and their bond is both sweet and strong. You’ll often find them curled up together after a play session, perfectly content in each other’s company. This special duo is looking for a loving forever home that will cherish them both. In return, Binx and Nina promise endless companionship, playful moments, and double the purrs every single day. Both cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Requesting a donation fee of $150 to help cover the costs of medical and foster supplies. Foster to adopt is also an option. If interested in providing a loving home for any of these wonderful cats, please contact Chelsea at crlenz@gmail.com or (650) 465-4513. Thank you! Story
Let us introduce you to a cute little black kitten named Mystic. This little sweetie was hiding under a car in an area that's overrun with too many unfixed cats and kittens. Once he's comfortable, his purr motor just doesn't stop. He's playful and energetic, pouncing on toy mice, carrying springs around in his mouth, and chasing after feather toys. Mystic has an eye condition that's being treated by a specialist, but that doesn't slow him down a bit! Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet. This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adoptAugust 28, 2026, 11:51 pm

Story
Meet Magik — a beautiful tuxedo kitten with medium-long silky fur and a personality as special as the little white line on her upper lip that makes her instantly unforgettable. Quietly independent, Magik enjoys exploring the world at her own pace, whether that means claiming the perfect cardboard box as her kingdom or watching the room with curious eyes. Magik’s story began with kindness and love. She, her mom, and her siblings — Hex, Prince Starlight, and Charm — were found on the street by a good Samaritan when the kittens were only days old. Thanks to that rescue, Magik has been raised safely in a loving home alongside her mom, surrounded by warmth, care, and plenty of affection from the very beginning. While she’s confident on her own, Magik truly shines around other cats. She absolutely adores feline companionship and would thrive in a home with a playful kitty friend to wrestle, nap, and grow up alongside. Her siblings helped shape her sweet and social spirit, and she carries that loving energy everywhere she goes. Magik is playful, gentle, and slowly discovering just how wonderful cuddles can be. She may not demand attention every second, but when she chooses to curl up beside you, it feels extra special. She’s the kind of kitten who will quietly steal your heart — one playful pounce, soft purr, and cozy cuddle at a time. If you’re looking for a kitten with a unique look, a loving soul, and the perfect balance of independence and affection, Magik may just be your perfect little companion. Part of adopting a kitten is recognizing that they are babies, and you will get to see firsthand how their wonderful natures develop! Story
Meet Sir Benny! Sir Benny is a handsome brown tabby kitten with a remarkable story and an even bigger heart. He was lovingly bottle-fed and raised by one of our dedicated foster families from the very beginning. When he first came into foster care, Sir Benny was the only surviving kitten in his litter. With around-the-clock care, love, and determination, he beat the odds and grew into the healthy, playful little boy he is today. Now Sir Benny is thriving and ready for the next chapter of his journey finding a forever family to call his own. This sweet boy absolutely adores other cats and would love a home with a playful feline companion or to be adopted with one of his kitten friends. He is curious, outgoing, and always ready for his next adventure, whether that's chasing toys, climbing cat trees, or zooming through tunnels. Once he's burned off his kitten energy, he's happy to settle in for cuddles and enjoy being close to his people. Sir Benny has a gentle, affectionate personality and loves being part of the family. After everything he's overcome, he deserves a home where he'll be cherished for the rest of his life. Sir Benny has currently tested positive for FIV , but because he is still a young kitten, this result may be a false positive . Kittens can carry antibodies from their mother that may cause an FIV test to show positive even when the kitten is not actually infected. For a more accurate result, Sir Benny will need to be retested when he is 6 months old, and Dancing Cat will cover the cost of his follow-up FIV test. And even if Sir Benny does ultimately test positive for FIV, please don't let those three letters scare you away from this wonderful little boy. FIV stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus , a virus that affects a cat's immune system. FIV is not a death sentence. Many FIV-positive cats live long, happy, healthy lives with routine veterinary care, good nutrition, and an indoor lifestyle. FIV is mainly spread between cats through deep bite wounds, typically from serious fighting. It is not easily spread through normal, friendly contact such as cuddling, playing, grooming, or sharing food and water bowls. FIV only affects cats it cannot be passed to people or dogs. For Sir Benny, this test result is simply one small part of his story. It doesn't change his playful personality, his love for other cats, or the incredible amount of affection he has to give. He is still the same happy, energetic kitten looking for someone to love him for a lifetime. ❤️ Sir Benny at a glance: Handsome brown tabby kitten Bottle-fed and lovingly raised by one of our foster families ❤️ The only surviving kitten from his litter who grew into a strong, healthy boy Loves other cats and would thrive with a feline companion Playful, curious, and full of kitten energy Sweet, affectionate, and loves being close to his people Currently FIV positive, but because of his young age, the result could be a false positive Will be retested at 6 months old, with The Dancing Cat covering the cost of the follow-up test Ready for his forever home Sir Benny is living proof that love and dedication can change a life. He has already overcome so much, and one test result shouldn't keep this incredible boy from finding the family he deserves. Now all Sir Benny needs is someone who will see what we see: a sweet, loving kitten with his whole life ahead of him. ❤️ Part of adopting a kitten is recognizing that they are babies, and you will get to see firsthand how their wonderful natures develop! Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.
