Story
Finn is 4, loves his belly rubs, head butts and scratches, cat nip and being pulled around on a blanket. His DNA is 25% Bengal, 25% Maine Coon and 50% DSH. One of his favorite things to do is look out window at birds. He is very smart and taught himself to use human toilet but mostly still uses the litterbox. I received him from neighbor as a kitten and was very affectionate but is shy/hesitant at first w/ new people. He has a high prey drive so likely won't get along with cats but could with mid/large size cat-friendly dog. His cuddle time is right before sleeping and waking up in your bed. He prefers to lie next to you on couch rather than lap cat. He is gentle with people and he would probably do best in mellow household. He was indoor at night/outdoor sometimes day but might do well in Catio. Adjectives; Unique, Sweet, Quirky, Loyal, Hesitant, Gentle, and Territorial with cats. My heart is shattered and really don't want to give him up but I need to focus on my older cat.

Story
* Available in Shelter for Meet & Greet * Joji (formerly Joe) is a sensitive, intelligent tuxedo boy who has come a long way since his outdoor days. Believed to be around 7 years old, he’s left street life behind and is learning to fully enjoy the comfort and predictability of indoor living. Joji can be shy with new people, but once he trusts you, he becomes an affectionate companion. He loves sunny naps, curling up beside you, and settling into your lap or on your chest for snuggles. Chin and neck scritches are his favorite, and he’s a total gentleman at mealtime — especially when meat is involved. He’s smart and food-motivated, knows how to sit and jump on cue, and enjoys quiet playtime with wand toys, kickers, and small solo toys. Joji thrives in a calm, adult-only home and does best as the only pet. Sudden movements can startle him, and he communicates with a warning nibble when overstimulated, but he’s made huge progress learning to feel safe. With patience and consistency, he blossoms into a loyal, loving shadow who prefers to stay close by. If you appreciate a thoughtful, gentle cat who bonds deeply and rewards kindness with quiet devotion, Joji may be the perfect match.January 20, 2026, 10:12 am

Story
Niko is a confident, curious young tabby who is often the first to step out and see what’s happening. With her slightly rounder face and expressive eyes, she approaches new people right away and happily asks for pets. She’s playful, social, and clearly enjoys being part of the action. Rescued in late November from a feral colony in Hawthorne, Niko was believed to have been abandoned due to how friendly and easy she was to handle. While her foster initially described her as the calmer of the two, Niko has shown herself to be the more outgoing personality in the shelter and is often the first out of the kennel. True to form for bonded siblings, Niko has had a few minor squabbles with her sister during transitions, which is normal and already improving as they settle in. Niko is closely bonded with her sister Sparky and is hoping to be adopted together.January 22, 2026, 8:03 pm

Story
Meet Thelma & Louise, a bonded sister duo looking for their forever home together. This beautiful pair was rescued when they were around 12 weeks of age from the USC area by a wonderful person who nurtured them and kept them safe. They have been thriving ever since. Thelma is a gorgeous silver girl with striking tabby markings. She can be a bit cautious at first, but once she feels comfortable, she becomes a loyal little companion who enjoys sitting close to her people. Louise, with her shiny black coat and stunning golden eyes, is more of a lap cat and happily settles in for cuddles. They truly complement each other and are a bonded pair, so they are looking for a home where they can be adopted together. These sweet girls enjoy playtime, cozy cuddle sessions, and spending time with their human companions. Thelma and Louise are about 6 months old and healthy thanks to the excellent care of their foster mom. They are spayed, have received their FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations, and will be microchipped soon. They are ready to be your cuddle bugs. Are you ready for them? For more information or to schedule a meet and greet, please contact Donna at DonnaJensen75@gmail.com. They are currently living in the Playa Vista area.January 29, 2026, 1:32 pm

Story
* Available in Shelter for Meet & Greet *  Jack is a handsome young gray tabby, approximately 7.5 months old, with striking gold-green eyes and a whole lot of personality. Rescued from the streets at just 7 weeks old, Jack grew up in a loving home before coming to us when his playful energy became too much for a senior dog companion. Jack is affectionate, social, and deeply people-oriented. He loves being held, lap time, forehead kisses, and close contact with his humans. If he wants attention, he will happily let you know, and if you hold your arms out, he will stretch up your legs asking to be picked up. He truly enjoys connection and companionship. Jack has a lot of energy and loves interactive play, especially wand toys, strings, and anything that lets him run, jump, and zoom. After a good play session, he settles nicely into cuddle mode and is content to relax nearby or in your arms. Jack is interested in engaging with other cats and enjoys playtime, though his enthusiasm can sometimes be a bit much for quieter feline companions. The good news is that Jack reads social cues well and will back down respectfully if another cat expresses discomfort. He would likely do best with a confident, playful cat who enjoys interaction, or as an only cat where he can be the center of attention. Like many young cats, Jack can become overstimulated at times and appreciates a home that understands cat body language and the importance of balancing play with rest. With routine, enrichment, and thoughtful interaction, Jack continues to show growth and maturity. Jack is a loving, engaging young cat with a big heart and even bigger potential. He is ready for a home that enjoys play, affection, and a cat who wants to be part of everyday life.January 20, 2026, 10:12 am

Story
* In Foster Care * Meet & Greets by appointment. * Please submit an application online and we’ll call to schedule! *  The first thing most people notice about Elton is his very handsome face and impressive size. The second thing they notice is his enthusiasm for people. Elton is an affectionate, social boy who loves greeting his humans, rubbing up for attention, and soaking in scratches and brushing sessions. When he’s happy, he’s known to drool a little and will happily put his face right in yours to groom you if he really likes you. Elton is food and attention motivated and thrives on routine. Once he’s had his fill of hellos, he’s usually ready to relax by playing with his chew or kicker toys, making biscuits on a soft surface, or settling near his person. He enjoys interactive play, bird watching, and being close to his humans throughout the day. Elton does best with people who understand feline body language and are comfortable giving him space when he’s had enough interaction. He can be a bit overly enthusiastic at times and benefits from a calm, predictable home where his cues are respected. He will gently let you know when he’s done being touched, and honoring those signals is key to keeping everyone happy. He has a fondness for plastic bags and similar items, so those should be kept out of reach. Elton is currently on daily anti-anxiety medication, which he takes easily with treats, and it has helped him stay more regulated alongside consistent routines. Elton may do well with another cat, but he is also perfectly happy soaking up human attention on his own. A quieter home without young children would be ideal for him. If you’re an experienced cat person looking for a big, affectionate companion with a strong personality and a lot of love to give, Elton may be a wonderful match!January 20, 2026, 10:12 am
