Peanut is very young and was living in my avocado tree. She is very sweet and playful and has huge personality! I took her in and got her fixed. My other two won’t accept her unfortunately. Looking for loving home and lots of playtime! Such a sweetie.

Story
Smokey is a 3 year old, grey-point male. He is an indoor cat and will only be placed in home where he remains as such. I took him in two years ago in Iowa from a family friend that could no longer care for him. Unfortunately, Smokey has become very aggressive towards our other cat and after trying countless interventions, it's clear that he needs to be the only cat in the home. Smokey is, in my opinion, just perfect. He's very high energy and very curious. He needs an owner willing to play with him multiple times a day, as well as plenty of mental stimulation when left alone. He enjoys looking out the window, climbing scratching posts, cuddling, and playing fetch. Recently, we started clicker training (which he loves) and have learned a couple commands. I love him a lot and want to find a good home. While Smokey cannot live with other cats, he could live with a dog - as he did in the past.

Story
Zahdh is a fun-loving adventurous 7yo cat who enjoys long walks outdoors on a leash or unleashed (with a bit of training and patience!). He has been living indoors for the past few years since one of his brothers was hit by a car several years ago, but still has a distinct drive for the outdoors. He still does well indoors, sleeping/relaxing most of the day with bursts of playful energy, chasing his siblings, running through tubes, and climbing cat trees. He is a very snuggly creature who will sleep in bed with you throughout the night. He has been living with a sibling cat, Uul, for the last 4 years and is very friendly toward him - I am looking to rehome Uul as well, but they do not necessarily need to go to the same home. The best fit for Zahdh would be someone who can shower him with love and attention and take him outdoors frequently via (un)leashed walks in the neighborhood, some independent indoor/outdoor privileges (e.g. cat door), or on camping trips.

Story
We adopted Smaug back in April 2023 with another black cat from a different foster home. They warmed up fairly quickly and get along very well. We estimate him to be 2 (human) years old. Unfortunately, our lifestyle doesn't seem to do well for him as he is a very engaged cat. He loves attention and will let you know when he wants to play or lay on the couch or bed with you, even when you are in a meeting or busy. After many months of trying to find things that may keep him engaged or busy until his "humans" are free, it seems that he just really needs human affection and attention more often than we can provide. We are hoping to find Smaug an owner who will be able to give him the time and attention he needs. Smaug loves to play, but also will be bugging you when it's time to relax in the evening so he can lay on the couch with you HAHA. He enjoys looking outdoors and playing with a variety of toys with his human. He comes with a single cat carrier, toys, and a walking harness.

Story
Hi my name is Vader, I am a neutered male, less than 2 years young. I was rescued after a nice Noah’s Bark volunteer heard that me and my siblings were on our way to get dumped in the canyons to be coyote food. My siblings have all been adopted. Now it is my turn to find a furever home. I love playing, I like toys like small stuffed mice and small soccer balls. I have medium length fur with some extra poof near my tail. I am very sweet but take a little while to warm up to new people. I am used to being in a busy home with other cats and dogs, I love being around my cat friends and like sleeping in quiet corners of the house. I also love to sit at the top of the cat tree and observe my surroundings. I would do best in a home with another cat to hang out with. I am ready for a home of my own where I will be loved forever. Our adoptions are restricted to residents within 30 miles of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. We do not ship animals or do long distance adoptions. See our adoption policies for more details on our adoption process. If you are interested in adopting one of our available pups, please complete an adoption application. You can find the application at: https://noahs-bark.org/adoption-application. We will arrange a meet and greet with the pet with approved applications only. Please note, an approved adoption application and meet and greet does not guarantee you will be selected to adopt the pup. We do not show our dogs any other time. Story
This is a courtesy post Meet Olive. She is a beautiful, female Calico Persian cat with lovely amber eyes. She is estimated to be around 3 years old. Olive is a feisty kitty that loves to play, but after she’s done she will want to cuddle up next to you on the couch, maybe even in your lap. She is vocal about being fed on time, and she is on a prescription wet food diet for some tummy issues. She enjoys being brushed around her neck and her back, but is unsure about her tail or behind being brushed, so taking her to a groomer is a must. Her eyes need to be cleaned out daily. Olive needs to be in a home as an only pet without children. She would love someone to spoil her rotten as their only baby. She came from the shelter, but unfortunately she does not get along with the other cat in the family and that's why she needs to be re homed Please email us for more information and inquiries. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same cat or kitten at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. Please find our application at lovejoyfoundation.org when you come to an event please bring that filled out in hand with you. You can find our application at Lovejoyfoundation.org. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. Sometimes exceptions are made in a particular situation for an adopter further out than 30 miles which is at the discretion of the director.
