ABOUT INKY! Meet Inky, our very adorable black kitty lady! This pretty girl was brought to HAP as a stray mama, so we don't know much about her past. What we do know is she's a super sweetheart! Inky is a very social lady, who loves to hang out with her human friends! She loves nothing more than to get some pets and chill out with her buddies, though she does know how to play when the time is right. *Inky does not get along with other cats. She's never lived with dogs or children, but we think she'd do okay with calm ones. *If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.

ABOUT CHRISTMAS CHILI AND MISS KRAMPUS! Meet Christmas Chili and Miss Krampus, our pretty mamas! These two came to HAP at separate times, both strays with kittens in tow and both upset at being caged. After a few months of medication and socialization and not much progress, we decided to put the two ladies in a room together, as a last ditch effort. They immediately took to each other and have been inseperatable ever since! Now with each others support and comfort, they two have started to enjoy human attention a little more! Christmas Chili is the more outgoing of the two, she enjoys chirping and booping her human friends, once she gets used to them! Miss Krampus is more on the shy side, though she does enjoy playing with her human friends, as long as they keep their distance! *Christmas Chili and Miss Krampus both adore other cats! We don't recommend they go to a home with dogs or children.

ABOUT THE TRIPLETS! Meet the Triplets, our adorable sisters! These sweeties were born in HAP's care, so they've only known the cushiony indoor life! Since returning from their amazing foster, they've been a little nervous, which is understandable; the shelter is a scary place! The Triplets are a little timid with new people, but once they warm up, they enjoy hanging out with their human friends! They love to play and explore, either solo or with another kitty friend! *The Triplets get along with other cats, but we don't recommend super active dogs or young children. ABOUT SPARKLES AND CAPTAIN! Meet Sparkles and Captain, our sweet adopted mom and son duo! These adorable sweethearts were brought to HAP as stray cats so we don't know much about their past. Sparkles is the more social out of the two, but that doesn't mean Captain is shy! Have finished just a very busy boy who loves to play and explore! Sparkles prefers a more leisurely life one of cuddly beds and yummy treats! They are both very sweet with people and will purr super loud once they get to know you. *Sparkles and Captain get along with other cats and we believe they would get along with calm dogs and older children! *If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. Story
ABOUT RUSTY AND BEAN! Meet Rusty and Bean, our adorable duo! These sweeties came to HAP at different times, for different reasons. Rusty came to us from a different shelter, when they had no space to keep him. Bean was a stray that was brought in to us by a good samaritan. After some solo time with us, we put the two in a room so they had more space to stretch their legs, and they instantly loved each other! Because Bean is younger and a nervous lady, Rusty takes on a more fatherly role for her, while she helps keep him young! Rusty is a confident gentleman and a gracious host! He loves to welcome guests with a polite meow and a friendly head rub, before he retires back to his quarters to nap. Occasionally he likes to play, but he much prefers to spend his time relaxed in one of his many, many, many beds. The place he likes best to nap is someone's lap, though! Bean is the shyer of the two, and it takes some schmoozing to get her love, but it's well worth it! Once she warms up, she is nothing but purrs and snuggles, and the occasional playtime and zoomies! She follows Rusty's lead for most things, so she does nap a lot with him! *Rusty and Bean are both FIV+, which means they have a weak immune system. With regular vet care, they should have no complications from the FIV! *Rusty is on daily medication for an enlarged heart, which he takes like the gentleman he is! While heart conditions are serious and require regular vet visits to monitor, we have no doubt that Rusty has a lot of life left to live! ABOUT LILY! Meet Lily, our sweet lady! This big and beautiful girl was brought into HAP after her owners were unable to care for her anymore. This can be a very scary change for any kitty, and Lily needed some time to settle in. But once she did, she showed off her larger than life personality! Lily is a true diva, she can't get enough attention! She loves to follow her human friends around and make sure they know she there...and hungry! Lily is a big talker, but she isn't very interested in what other people have to say. She has little time for toys or games, she spends most of her time being adored by her fans and grooming her magnificent tummy! *Lily does not like other cats, and we don't believe she'd like a dog friend either. We think she'd do okay with older children who understand her boundaries!
