Story
These two have been waiting the longest for a family of their own, and we hope someone will give them a chance. They don't always show their true personalities during adoption meet-and-greets, but in their foster home they are loving, happy, and wonderful companions. DOB: 12/26/2024 🐾 Meet Orlando & Ophelia 🐾 Orlando is a handsome boy with striking markings and a gentle soul. He can be shy when meeting new people, but once he feels safe, he transforms into an affectionate cuddle bug. He loves rolling around for attention, reaching out for pets, and hopping into your lap as soon as you sit down. Orlando also enjoys playtime, especially chasing his favorite toy—the laser pointer! His sister, Ophelia, is a beautiful tortie who shares a special bond with her brother. They find comfort and confidence in each other and love spending their days together. Watching them play, nap, and explore side-by-side is truly heartwarming. Because they can be reserved around strangers, Orlando and Ophelia are often overlooked by potential adopters. But their foster family knows what wonderful cats they are. Given a little patience and time to adjust, they reward their people with love, companionship, and plenty of snuggles. These sweet siblings are bonded and must be adopted together. If you're willing to give them the chance they deserve, you'll gain two loyal best friends. Adoption Fee: $100 each Sometimes the shy ones are the most rewarding. 📄 Fill out an application to meet Orlando and Ophelia: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat 📧 Email: silvertonrescue@gmail.com About Silverton Cat Rescue Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Story
DOB 5/5/25 If you’re looking for a cat with some serious skills, meet Meowlody. He is a high-flying athlete who lives for his wand toys and has even been known to catch a fly mid-air, making him the ultimate entertainer for anyone who loves an interactive play session. Having grown up around a wide variety of cats, he is very gentle and submissive with others. An expert at navigating feline social circles, he maintains a patient, loving approach that usually wins everyone over in the end. Meowlody (the fly-catching athlete) and his bonded buddy, Claudio (the chatty gentleman), are the ultimate low-pressure roommates. These stunning, long-and-lean tabby brothers are the perfect Self-Sufficient Companions; contented to relax till you’re ready to start the day, and perfectly happy hanging with each other while you’re at work. Meowlody and Claudio won't be instant lap cats, but once you’ve earned their trust, the reward is loyal, athletic, and incredibly chill companions. PLEASE READ Adoption Fees: • $100 for adults (12+ months) • $150 for kittens (under 12 months) All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines. We are not first-come, first-served. Our goal is to match each kitty with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers. All cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate with fosters to arrange meet-and-greets. Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs Kittens are highly social and thrive when they have a feline companion. A buddy helps them develop healthy play habits, confidence, and emotional well-being. Experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat at home. Surprisingly, two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized. Adoption Requirements To ensure safe and compatible placements, we require: • A completed adoption application • A home visit Apply here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat Email: silvertonrescue@gmail.com or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.

Story
DOB: 4/1/2026 Multnomah is a handsome Tabby that can zoom across the room in record time when a toy catches his eye, but he's all sweetness and playfulness with none of the attitude. He is bonded with his brother Wallowa, a gorgeous Siamese mix. Fun fact: Multnomah is fast but not furious! They are always ready for their next adventure! At this age, life is all about playtime, and you'll often find them chasing toys, wrestling with each other, exploring every corner of the house, and turning ordinary objects into exciting kitten fun. While they're busy little boys right now, they also enjoy curling up together for naps after a hard day of kitten adventures. As they grow older and settle down, they're sure to enjoy even more cuddle and lap time with their people. If you're looking for double the fun, double the entertainment, and double the love, Tillamook and Clackamas are ready to bring endless joy to their forever home. These brothers share a special bond and must be adopted together. Surprisingly, two kittens are often half the work of one! Tillamook and Clackamas keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized. They have a special bond and love having a built-in playmate and cuddle buddy. Story
💜 Our Longest Residents Are Still Waiting 💜 DOB: 12/26/2024 Meet Ophelia & Orlando These sweet siblings have been with us longer than any of our other adoptable cats. Unfortunately, they don't show well during adoption meet-and-greets because they are shy around strangers. But ask their foster family, and they'll tell you just how wonderful these two really are. Ophelia is a beautiful girl with striking markings and the sweetest face. She may need a little time to trust new people, but once she feels comfortable, she loves rubbing against you, purring, and enjoying gentle pets. She enjoys playtime, relaxing nearby, and spending hours watching birds and chipmunks from a sunny window. Her brother Orlando is just as special. While he can be reserved at first, once he knows you, he's affectionate, playful, and eager for attention. He loves chasing the laser pointer, snuggling, and curling up with his favorite people. These two find comfort and confidence in each other and share a very special bond. They are loving, happy cats in their foster home and simply need an adopter willing to give them the time they need to settle in and show their true personalities. Ophelia and Orlando are bonded and must be adopted together. If you have a patient heart and are willing to let them adjust at their own pace, you'll be rewarded with two devoted companions who will love you for years to come. ❤️ Adoption Fee: $100 each 🐾 📄 Fill out an application to meet Ophelia and Orlando: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat 📧 Email: silvertonrescue@gmail.com About Silverton Cat Rescue Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Story
Date of Birth: 8/25/25 Meet Stormy! Stormy is a playful, energetic kitten who believes every day should be filled with fun and adventure. One of his favorite activities is racing around the house with a spring toy proudly carried in his mouth. Paper bags, cardboard boxes, and new toys are all exciting treasures in Stormy's world. This handsome boy is also a serious food enthusiast. He's often one of the first kittens to come running when he hears a can of cat food being opened and never wants to miss a meal. Stormy is always curious about what you're eating, too, and likes to make sure he's included in all the action. When he's not busy playing, Stormy enjoys snuggling with his brothers and sister. He loves being part of whatever is happening and wants to be included in all the fun, whether that's playtime, mealtime, or simply hanging out with his people. Stormy shares a special bond with his brother Rocky, and the two must be adopted together. They make a wonderful pair, bringing double the entertainment, companionship, and love to their future family. If you're looking for a playful, social kitten who is always ready for the next adventure, Stormy and Rocky may be the perfect match! Story
DOB 11/1/25 Meet Bellatrix! 🖤 Bellatrix is a playful young kitty who is full of curiosity! She gets along with other cats, but could also thrive on her own. She loves all toys especially when you run down the hallway with a string toy for her to chase. While on her scratch box or cat tree she enjoys a good chin scratch, but would like to keep it at just that. She is quiet and shy until the zoomies or tuna can comes out. She would love to keep someone company as she sits in her window sill :) PLEASE READ Adoption Fees: • $100 for adults (12+ months) • $125 for kittens (under 12 months) All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines.
