Story
I adopted my cat in Arizona 5 years ago he was a year old when I got him. He is such a sweet cat but he needs a calm home with no cats. He loves dogs though! he is shy at first and then he will become your best friend with time he is a very loving cat. I’m sad to have to let him go but I think it’s the best thing for him. He deserves the best life.

Adoption Special 10-21 to 10-31-25 $75 for single cat and $125 for bonded pair. DOB 6/22/25 Mira is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly. Purrs a lot and likes being on laps. Playful and energetic. PLEASE READ: Adoption fee $100 for adult (over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for FIV/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet. Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.

Story
DOB: 12/26/2024 Meet Orlando Orlando is a handsome, shy boy with gorgeous markings who blossoms once he gets to know you. With patience and love, he’ll become your best friend—rolling around, reaching out for you, and hopping into your lap the moment you sit down. Orlando is a total snuggle bug who also loves playtime, especially chasing his favorite toy: the laser! He gets along wonderfully with his siblings but is very easygoing and loves cuddles. Orlando is bonded with his sister Ophelia, a beautiful tortie, and they must be adopted together to continue their special sibling bond. Sometimes, the shy ones are the sweetest, and Orlando is proof of that! Adoption Fee: $125 (kitten under 12 months) 📄 Fill out an application to meet Orlando and Ophelia: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat 📧 Email: silvertonrescue@gmail.com About Silverton Cat Rescue Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All our cats live in foster homes—we do not have a shelter. All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. We are not first-come, first-served, as our goal is to match each kitty with the perfect home. Most kittens are adopted in bonded pairs, because feline companionship supports emotional and behavioral development. To ensure safe and compatible placements, adoptees are required to: • Complete an adoption application • Accept a home visit

Story
DOB: 02/2025 Look at this handsome little dude! Rowen has soft, silvery fur, adorable white “feeties,” and the most adorable feature of all — a short, crooked little tail that makes him even more irresistible. He’s a total Velcro cat who loves to follow his people, happily carries toys around, and gets along well with other cats. Rowen is full of joy and character — smart, curious, playful, and incredibly sweet. He actively seeks affection and absolutely loves being held. His sister, Rowena, is also available if you’re looking for the perfect built-in playmate duo! If you’re hoping for a kitten who will grow into your lifelong best friend, look no further. Rowen can’t wait to meet you and become part of your family. 🐾💕 PLEASE READ Adoption Fees: • $100 for adults (12+ months) • $125 for kittens (under 12 months) All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines. We are not first-come, first-served. Our goal is to match each kitty with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers. All cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate with fosters to arrange meet-and-greets. Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs Kittens are highly social and thrive when they have a feline companion. A buddy helps them develop healthy play habits, confidence, and emotional well-being. Experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat at home. Surprisingly, two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized. Adoption Requirements To ensure safe and compatible placements, we require: • A completed adoption application • A home visit Apply here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat Email: silvertonrescue@gmail.comCat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.

Story
DOB 06-2025 Meet Briar Rose (aka Rosie) Rosie is the sweetest little kitten, and everyone who meets her can’t help but comment on how beautiful she is. But Rosie isn’t too worried about compliments — she’s far more interested in love, a warm lap, and a sunny spot to nap in her forever home. She absolutely adores her brother Tumbleweed, and the two are truly inseparable. Briar Rose and Tumbleweed are a bonded pair and must be adopted together so they can continue their sweet sibling adventures side by side. If you’re looking for a pair of affectionate, charming kittens, Rosie and Tumbleweed might be the perfect match.
