Story
I’ve known Skurdy since she was a kitten and rescued her after she was abandoned. She grew up in a house with three dogs, but avoided them. With patience and love, she became an incredibly sweet/silly cat.Once comfortable, she:• Does zoomies• Loves cuddles & “cat stacking”• Drools from being pet• Plays FETCH with crinkle balls (I have a video!)She comes with toys, extra crinkle balls (they tend to disappear), food dish, water dispenser, litter box/litter, and carrier.Skurdy is very gentle but becomes stressed around energetic younger children (like my 2-yr-old) and hides. After trying to bring her out since the baby was born, I believe she would do better in a calm, quiet home where she can feel safe enough to play and relax again.Best fit:• Calm home w/older kids (12years+)• Patient adopter willing to let her warm up slowlyMy goal is simply to find her a peaceful home where she can be happy again, the poor thing. 💔Fee may be waived for an exceptional home that is the perfect fit.

Story
Cookie is a loving 13-year-old female cat looking for a calm, caring home. She’s very affectionate, great with kids, and honestly more like a little companion dog than a typical cat. No known health issues or medications. We’re simply looking for the right fit for her next chapter. ❤️

Story
My name is Killua I am a male 2 year old orange tabby. I am looking for a loving new forever home with the perfect person that can take care of me. I have the chance of having seizures but I take medicine twice a day (6am and 6pm) that prevents me from having them or makes them happen almost never. Besides the seizures I am a perfectly healthy, playful, cuddly cat that loves feathers and wands. I love head rubs and under the chin scratches. I can be left alone at home all day and will sleep and play with myself but I need to be given medicine at the desired times. I love people and kids and full of curiosity.

Story
Tonkinese/Tabby Mix • Female • 9 Years Old We’re looking for a loving new home for our sweet Tonkinese/Tabby mix. She is affectionate, great with kids, and enjoys spending time with people while still appreciating her personal space. She is accustomed to being around dogs and does well with them, though she’d likely prefer a home with fewer pets. When the dogs are away, her social and playful personality really comes out. She’s easy to care for and even tolerates being held while having her nails trimmed. To help with the transition, we’ll include her cat tree, litter box, litter pads, litter, nail clippers, and a full bag of food. We’re hoping to find a family who will give her the loving, stable home she deserves.

Story
Coco is a natural hunter who loves chasing anything that catches his attention. He is also very adventurous and enjoys exploring tunnels and discovering new places. One of his favorite spots is the balcony, where he likes to relax and watch the world around him. Sometimes, he gets so comfortable that he falls asleep there. Since I adopted him as a kitten, I have fed him both dry and wet food, alternating between the two. Coco is a healthy, happy cat with an active and curious personality.

Story
DOB: 12/26/2024 Meet Orlando Orlando is a handsome, shy boy with gorgeous markings who blossoms once he gets to know you. With patience and love, he’ll become your best friend—rolling around, reaching out for you, and hopping into your lap the moment you sit down. Orlando is a total snuggle bug who also loves playtime, especially chasing his favorite toy: the laser! He gets along wonderfully with his siblings but is very easygoing and loves cuddles. Orlando is bonded with his sister Ophelia, a beautiful tortie, and they must be adopted together to continue their special sibling bond. Sometimes, the shy ones are the sweetest, and Orlando is proof of that! Adoption Fee: $125 (kitten under 12 months) 📄 Fill out an application to meet Orlando and Ophelia: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat 📧 Email: silvertonrescue@gmail.com About Silverton Cat Rescue Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All our cats live in foster homes—we do not have a shelter. All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. We are not first-come, first-served, as our goal is to match each kitty with the perfect home. Most kittens are adopted in bonded pairs, because feline companionship supports emotional and behavioral development. To ensure safe and compatible placements, adoptees are required to: • Complete an adoption application • Accept a home visit
