Story
Meet Millie! Our cat is in need of a new quiet and calm home. She is no longer thriving in the chaos that comes with sharing a home with two small kids and one big dog. Millie loves to steal a lick of milk from an empty cereal bowl, sit in a sun filled window, and be looked at lovingly. We adopted Millie 7 years ago and just want to improve her quality of life with a home that fits her needs (without small kids or other pets). She will need to go to a person/family who is patient and willing to give her time to adjust to a new environment. Feel free to reach out with questions or interest

Story
Lavender is a 15-year-old sweetheart with a huge heart and a nonstop purr. She is deeply affectionate and bonds strongly with her person. When she loves you, she curls into a little ball, presses her head into you, purrs loudly, and softly meows. When she is truly happy, she even drools a little. Most people who meet her fall in love instantly. Lavender loves being held and snuggled and especially enjoys pets on her cheeks, forehead, and behind her ears. She is gentle, has never bitten anyone, and shows no aggression. She can be fearful of loud noises or people standing over her, but when you move slowly and get on her level, she becomes incredibly loving. She is an indoor-only, spayed senior with early kidney disease and does well on Royal Canin Renal Support dry food. Lavender has long-term litter box challenges related to stress and environment and does best in a calm home willing to adapt for her needs.

Story
Meet Leon the Lion, Leon is a BIG boy, a long boy, a sweet snuggly lover boy, and Primadona. He's very opinionated and has no problem telling you his mood. He LOVES to be in the room with is humans, and he is very good with kids. Leon suffered some kind of trauma or abuse in one of his last homes...he is very guarded with his tail and flanks. He's litter trained, fixed, doesn't spray, and has basic vaccinations, but I have no records. What Leon needs: someone patient and willing to help him work through his traumas hairball care to be solo cat - or with very friendly cats willing to accept him - rejection triggers his territorial nature to be indoors Why he is being rehomed: Our senior cat is very unwelcoming, and it is causing them both too much stress. What Leon gives: large biscuits with a side of drool sassy conversation endless snuggles - lap blanket recommended zoomies endless photo opportunities as he likes to sleep and spread out in funny positions

Story
A friend of mine was evicted recently and asked me to hold onto these cats. I have had them, now, since August and that friend is no longer responding to any messages. I don’t know much about them medically besides what I have done myself. They had fleas and we sorted that out. Then they got tapeworms and we sorted that out. Then they started (as of yesterday) presenting with blood in their stools. I have never owned cats and now I have seen things that would turn a child off the idea of sleeping for the rest of his life. I love these cats dearly. They are extremely clingy and energetic and will make someone very, very happy. I think all things considered they have had an excellent life with me, however, the growing medical expenses and time they require doesn’t very well fit my two-job paycheck-to-paycheck lifestyle. It’s time for them to find a more permanent home where they can receive proper medical attention and possibly one of those gravy-tube treats. (xxx) xxx-xxxx for questions.

Story
She was found as a kitten wandering the streets alone. She was raised with Dogs all her life. She is better with smaller dogs, but is also good with medium sized dogs. She is about 8 years old. Her favorite pass times are laying on her little couch and looking out windows. She likes to chirp at the birds when she sees them. She tends to want to be on her little couch most of the time. Place that next to a window and she is set to lounge around all day. Her favorite snacks are boiled chicken and bologna. She is very vocal about wanting attention and she will let you know when she wants attention and to be loved on. She is scared of loud noises [fireworks, thunder, etc.] and is shy around strangers or if there is a lot of people. She likes to hide in cabinets or the bathroom if she is overwhelmed. She is very independent and loving. I would like her new home to be attentive, loving, and caring for her. A home where she doesn't have to compete for attention and someone who is home more.
