She was found as a kitten wandering the streets alone. She was raised with Dogs all her life. She is better with smaller dogs, but is also good with medium sized dogs. She is about 8 years old. Her favorite pass times are laying on her little couch and looking out windows. She likes to chirp at the birds when she sees them. She tends to want to be on her little couch most of the time. Place that next to a window and she is set to lounge around all day. Her favorite snacks are boiled chicken and bologna. She is very vocal about wanting attention and she will let you know when she wants attention and to be loved on. She is scared of loud noises [fireworks, thunder, etc.] and is shy around strangers or if there is a lot of people. She likes to hide in cabinets or the bathroom if she is overwhelmed. She is very independent and loving. I would like her new home to be attentive, loving, and caring for her. A home where she doesn't have to compete for attention and someone who is home more.

Sunny was adopted at the Salem Oregon Humane Society location by my brother, about 8 months ago. My brother passed suddenly last week, and his wife cannot care for 3 cats, nor afford 3 cats. She is keeping two others, mainly because the two have lived together much longer. Unfortunately, Sunny seems to be the odd man out in the trio. I would take him, but my landlady forbids cats. Sunny is such a lovable boy that I would be willing to get a different apartment that allowed cats, but we simply don't have time. My brother's wife and children are moving to an apartment she can afford at the end of December. So, we really hope Sunny finds a new, good home pronto. Sunny is an extremely affectionate cat. He may be a bit shy at first, but he will open up once he sees love. Please help us get Sunny a forever home.

Ginger is 1 year old, born on August 2024. He is very playful and can be very shy with new people, but once he gets a familiarity he’ll be very clingy, he is curious and is litter trained. He also likes butt scratches and ear scratches but doesn’t like it when you pat his butt. He not very experienced outside and is usually an indoor cat, he’ll run back inside if you put him out. He gets along with smaller dogs, unknown for big dogs and cats, but has show curiosity for cats, and he is not a picky eater.

Maverick is our very special sweet boy who deserves all the love in the world! He's very laid back and will sit with you for hours watching movies and wants to be near you. Maverick is a speicial needs boy with severe CH (also known as wobbly cat syndrome). Here is a link where you can find more info on CH: https://www.thenoahcenter.org/2022/09/28/the-truth-about-ch-cats/ Maverick is about 4 years old and along with having CH, he is missing several teeth and has a front "snaggle tooth"- but is healthy! He's neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and has had base line bloodwork upon joining the rescue all of which was completely normal. He does have tremors that are common with CH and also a pretty severe head bobble - so drinking water is difficult and he eats wet food and sometimes dry kibble mixed in water in raised bowl. He was raised by a family who loved him very much but just didn't have the time to continue caring for him. He uses a litter box but because of his severity and wobbles, he needs help getting in and out and will lay down to do his stuff. He is on a schedule though and will go in the litter box when you put him in the box on a schedule. Maverick has lived with big dogs and other cats in his foster home, but he mostly loves just being with his person. If you have had a CH cat previously, then. you know how much love they provide and what a joy they are to care for. With Maverick's severity level, he does need someone who has experience with CH and is aware of what they require. s this seat taken? My name is Samwise, Sam for short, and I am looking for a warm lap to snooze on. HEALTH NOTICE: My people believe I may have been hit by a car before they found me in the garden. My jaw hurts sometimes so it’s best if my food is softened. I have other symptoms of injuries that didn’t heal correctly. I can be a little clumsy and sometimes I hurt a little, but all that doesn’t slow me down! I just wanted to let you know since it makes me a little different. I’m really just an ordinary kitty. I like to jump up on windowsills and watch the world. I like to scratch so please give me a post or something fun for my claws.
