Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue AFFECTIONATE, LIVELY, AND FULL OF CHARACTER Meow! My name is Stormy, and I’m a gorgeous, soft-furred sweetheart with a spirited streak and a heart full of love. My estimated birthday is February 18, 2020, and while I may be past the kitten stage, I bring the perfect blend of mellow affection and youthful playfulness. I’m the kind of cat who will make you feel like the center of my world. I’ll rub against your legs, gently bump my head into your hands, and curl up close just to be near you. When I’m especially happy, I’ll flop onto my side and roll over, inviting you to give me soft pets and scratch behind my ears. My love language? Gentle affection and quiet companionship Don’t let my calm demeanor fool you—I’ve got a playful side that lights up when a toy mouse appears. Give me a little space and a favorite toy, and I’ll come alive, batting, pouncing, and carrying it around like a proud hunter showing off her prize. I may be graceful, but I know how to have a good time! I do have a bit of a diva streak—if I get overstimulated, I might let you know with a swish of my tail or a sassy little swat. I’m not shy about setting boundaries, but I’m never mean-spirited. I simply ask that my future family listens to my cues and respects my need for a little personal space now and then. Once I trust you, I’ll be your most loyal and loving companion. Now let’s talk about something important: I am FELV+. Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) is a virus that affects cats’ immune systems. It is spread only between cats (not to people or other types of animals) through close contact like grooming, sharing bowls, or bite wounds. Because FeLV can weaken the immune system over time, FeLV+ kitties may be more prone to infections and need a little extra care. What does that mean for me? I should live indoors to stay safe and healthy. I should live with other FeLV+ cats or be the only cat in the home. I’ll need regular veterinary checkups to monitor my health. With good nutrition, low stress, and proper care, many FeLV+ cats live happy, comfortable lives for years.  Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meow meet Beya! Beya is a beautiful 2 year old tabby girl. She’s a gentle and sweet soul who loves the simple joys in life - climbing a cat tree, chasing toys, and curling up in a soft bed while soaking in sunny spots around the house. She may be a little timid and aloof at first, but give her a bit of time and patience, and she’ll truly blossom. Once she warms up, her affectionate and vocal personality shines through - she’ll happily chat with you and let you know when she is ready for pets and attention. And trust us Beya definitely wants the attention once she feels safe and loved! She gets along well with other cats and does great with kids, making a wonderful addition to a calm, loving home. If you’re looking for a gentle companion who just needs a little time to come out of her shell, Beya just might be your girl!Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meow meet Magic! Magic is a gorgeous young black cat with a playful spirit and loving soul. The stress of being confined in a cage at the rescue caused her confidence to take a step backward, but now that she’s able to roam freely and enjoy the run of the rescue, her personality is beginning to shine again. Magic is energetic, curious, and loves to play. She does enjoy attention and is very loving, but she can be a little unsure at first as she rebuilds her confidence. She is looking for a patient and understanding home that will give her the time and space to settle in at her own pace. Somewhere out there is the person Magic has been waiting for - someone who will see past her uncertainty and recognize the sweet, loving soul underneath! Won’t you be that person? Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meow meet Bumble! Bumble is an adorable kitten from the “Bee Litter” who is always buzzing with fun! Bumble arrived at the rescue with her four siblings after they were found as strays. Thankfully, the homeowner who found them made sure Mom and babies were safe and cared for until the kittens were ready to begin their search for new homes. This playful little girl believes every day should be an adventure. Whether she’s chasing toys, wrestling with her siblings, climbing to top of the cat tree, or investigating something new, Bumble is always ready to turn an ordinary moment into something exciting! Like any great kitten, she has plenty of energy, but she also has a sweet, affectionate side. After a busy day of play, Bumble is more than happy to slow down, soak up attention, and remind you just how lovable she is. If your home could use a little extra laughter, entertainment, and kitten charm, Bumble is ready to buzz her way right into your heart and make herself at home! Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meow meet Boo! Some cats ask for attention the moment you meet them. Others quietly wait and hope someone kind enough will truly see them. This beautiful 6 year old black and white long haired boy is one of those cats. Behind his shy eyes is the sweetest, most gentle soul imaginable. Boo is quiet, soft-hearted, and deeply loving. He adores gentle pets and attention, leaning into affection with quiet trust that feels incredibly special because it’s so genuinely earned. Sadly in his previous home, he was bullied by other animals, which left him timid and unsure. Because of that he would do best as the only pet in a calm, peaceful home where  he never has to feel afraid again and can finally feel safe. He isn’t difficult - he simply needs patience, understanding, and someone willing to give him the time he needs to settle in and realize he is ok! After living in fear for so long trust won’t happen overnight. He will need a 30-45 day adjustment period to truly decompress and come out of his shell. But the person willing to give this dear sweet boy that grace will discover an incredibly loyal companion who loves deeply and quietly. He is breathtakingly handsome with his gorgeous long coat and soulful eyes, and his beautiful fur will need regular brushing to keep him comfortable and looking his best - something that can become a peaceful bonding ritual between him and his person. Boo has spent enough of his life feeling overlooked, bullied, and afraid. He deserves a home filled with soft voices, warm blankets, patient hearts, and unconditional love. Somewhere he can finally exhale, curl up beside someone who understands him, and know he never has to be scared again! Though horribly bullied with no protection in sight for so long Boo never lost his sweet, gentle, and loving nature. Instead he waited hoping for someone to see him, to protect him. Are you his someone?Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted.
