Story
Willow was one of two kittens we chose in 2021. She does extremely well with other cats, but is very skittish and does not do well with dogs or loud children. She is very sweet and will curl up with you and loves to be petted. Unfortunately, with our dog she continues to hide most of the time or stays in one room. This behavior does not allow her to be out and about the house as she should. We would love to see her enjoy a home with no pets or a home that has no dogs. She has been spayed and has been kept indoors.

Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue AFFECTIONATE, LIVELY, AND FULL OF CHARACTER Meow! My name is Stormy, and I’m a gorgeous, soft-furred sweetheart with a spirited streak and a heart full of love. My estimated birthday is February 18, 2020, and while I may be past the kitten stage, I bring the perfect blend of mellow affection and youthful playfulness. I’m the kind of cat who will make you feel like the center of my world. I’ll rub against your legs, gently bump my head into your hands, and curl up close just to be near you. When I’m especially happy, I’ll flop onto my side and roll over, inviting you to give me soft pets and scratch behind my ears. My love language? Gentle affection and quiet companionship Don’t let my calm demeanor fool you—I’ve got a playful side that lights up when a toy mouse appears. Give me a little space and a favorite toy, and I’ll come alive, batting, pouncing, and carrying it around like a proud hunter showing off her prize. I may be graceful, but I know how to have a good time! I do have a bit of a diva streak—if I get overstimulated, I might let you know with a swish of my tail or a sassy little swat. I’m not shy about setting boundaries, but I’m never mean-spirited. I simply ask that my future family listens to my cues and respects my need for a little personal space now and then. Once I trust you, I’ll be your most loyal and loving companion. Now let’s talk about something important: I am FELV+. Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) is a virus that affects cats’ immune systems. It is spread only between cats (not to people or other types of animals) through close contact like grooming, sharing bowls, or bite wounds. Because FeLV can weaken the immune system over time, FeLV+ kitties may be more prone to infections and need a little extra care. What does that mean for me? I should live indoors to stay safe and healthy. I should live with other FeLV+ cats or be the only cat in the home. I’ll need regular veterinary checkups to monitor my health. With good nutrition, low stress, and proper care, many FeLV+ cats live happy, comfortable lives for years.  Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meow meet Simon! Simon is a handsome senior tabby with a very big personality and an even bigger need for attention! This sweet boy came to us through no fault of his own after a change in circumstances, and he is ready to get back to what he does best - being loved! Simon is incredibly affectionate and has absolutely no problem letting you know when he thinks you aren’t giving him enough attention. He is quite vocal about his requests, and when he really wants more love, he’ll actually stand up on his back legs with his front paws together like he’s begging for another round of affection. Honestly, it’s pretty hard to say no to that! Simon spent some extra time at the rescue while we worked through some digestive issues. Thankfully, those issues have been resolved, but keeping him feeling his best requires following some very specific guidelines. Simon can only have a specific type of wet food - no dry food and no treats, ever!  He may also need a daily medication and probiotic. The good news? Simon takes everything like a champ. His only real concern is whether you’re giving him enough love. The rescue will make sure his adopter is fully educated on his diet, medications, routine, and has everything needed to keep this goofy guy healthy and happy. Simon may have a few special instructions, but he makes up for them with an enormous personality, endless affection, and plenty of laughs. Give this lovable senior the attention he so enthusiastically demands, and Simon will be one very happy boy! Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meow meet Baby Girl! Baby Girl is a senior grey tabby with soft stripes and beautiful green eyes that quietly watch the world around her. She has a gentle soul and has been patiently waiting to be noticed, hoping someone will see her for who she is. She was surrendered through no fault of her own when her owner no longer wanted to care for her. While we don’t know much about her past, we do know that Baby Girl is sweet, gentle, and full of love. She enjoys being petted, resting in warm sunny spots and simply being near the people she trusts. She can become overstimulated and would do best as the only cat in a calm, peaceful home. She is currently overweight and the rescue is helping her get healthier. She was declawed at some point in her life, making a safe, gentle environment especially important for her. Baby Girl doesn’t need much - just a quiet home and a kind heart. She has spent too long waiting, watching life pass by, wondering if she will ever belong again. If you choose Baby Girl, you won’t just be giving her a home - you’ll be giving her comfort, safety, and the chance to finally rest, knowing she is loved!Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue AFFECTIONATE AND OUTGOING Meow! My name is Silver. My estimated date of birth is 8/8/2016. I am an over the top sweet girl who will demand your attention. I love to talk to my people and sit on the bed with them. I have a loud purr motor and love attention. I love catnip toys and wet food time. I want to be where you are and will follow you around the house. I have limited vision in my remaining eye so sometimes being up high scares me and I get nervous to jump down. I am not a big fan of other cats, i have not been around dogs, and I do okay with children. I am currently in a foster home, but meetings with me can be easily arranged. I would love a place to call my forever home.Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meow meet Raja! Raja is a beautiful adult grey tabby with soft white markings and an even softer heart! Once a brave colony cat, she came into care with a leg injury. After healing, she made it clear she had chosen a different life - the indoor life. And oh how she blossomed! Sweet, playful and wonderfully confident, Raja is full of personality. She “talks” to her people in the most endearing way, making the sweetest little cooing sounds when she is happy (which is often - especially during pets). She absolutely adores shaggy blankets and will happily knead, snuggle, and roll around in them like they were made just for her. She is delightfully silly, very food motivated (treats are the way to her heart!), and always ready for a play session. But Raja’s heart belongs to her best friend Trevor. These two share a bond that is truly something special. They are never far apart - where you find one, the other is close by. When Trevor was recovering from serious wounds, Raja stayed faithfully by his side, offering quiet comfort and companionship. They play hide and seek, chatter back and forth in their own little language, and move through life together in perfect harmony. Its more than friendship - it’s a love story! Trevor does require specific ongoing care, which is outlined in his individual profile. Our rescue team will ensure that any potential adopter receives complete information and guidance regarding his needs and will be fully supported in understanding his care. Raja and Trevor are a deeply bonded pair and must be adopted together. Their connection is devoted, inseparable, and truly beautiful to witness. If your looking for not just one incredible cat but a pair whose love will fill your home with warmth, laughter, and daily sweetness, Raja and Trevor are ready to write the next chapter of their love story - with you!
