Story
Meet Poppy! We rescued her in Oct 2024, and while she very quickly adapted to her life with our 5 year old and our mini schnauzer, we haven't been able to effectively manage allergies that we were unaware of beforehand, despite our best efforts. Poppy is reserved around new people, but loves cuddles once she warms up. She loves cuddling on any blanket she can find. She is consistent with litter box and has been strictly indoors. She's fine with both a traditional litterbox and an automatic litter box. She is microchipped and spayed. We updated all vaccines in Sept/Oct '25, so she's good until fall '26. Hoping we can find her a home that can give her lots of cuddles without allergic reactions. Willing to transport within Maryland.

Story
Oliver is a 8 year-old shy and gentle cat who was retired from a cat breeding company in the USA. He was a calm, well-behaved companion for many years. After the birth of our baby, the baby developed strong allergies, and the sudden change caused Oliver a lot of stress. Because of this anxiety, he has started peeing on clothes and the bed — something he never did before. Oliver needs a quiet, calm home without babies or young children, where he can feel safe again. With patience and love, he can return to the sweet cat he truly is.

Story
Saturn is a sweet go-with-the-flow kinda girl. She loves playing with her siblings(Moon, Sun, and Mars). She also loves playing with her cat and kitten friends at her foster home. Saturn loves wand toys and laser lights the most. She also loves those little spring toys too. Saturn is a cuddle bug after playtime. She has lots of energy and would do well with children that are respectful of her. Saturn must have another kitty companion in the home or be adopted with another kitty. She is ready for a family to call her own.

Story
Adoption Fee Sponsored by a Generous Supporter Introducing Penelope. Our vet estimates her to be 3 years old. She has an entire lifetime ahead of her and we want it to be great. Penelope is part of the "black & white" group that we rescued. After their owner passed away, the cats were left outside on their own for about 2 months. Penelope has been spending time at a foster home where she is quite comfortable. As the photos show, she loves cat trees. Hint to her adopter that she would love a cat tree at her forever home. She will do best in a quiet home, so no young children please. She gets along with other cats and a small dog at her foster home. Penelope's foster home is located in Hampstead MD (Carroll Co). Adoption Fee: Sponsored by a Generous Supporter - Approved Adopter pays -0- at time of adoption To apply to adopt complete our adoption application online at www.finallyhomeanimalrescue.com. Story
Miss Simone is a 3 yr old sweet girl who loves her humans. She can be quite playful at times and loves hanging out on the back of the sofa to watch to birds outside. She gets along with children, doggies, and cats too. She would do fine by herself or with a non-dominant kitty friend who's not too timid. She can be sassy now and then with certain bolder kitty personalities. She is occasionally vocal when she's not getting enough attention and loves to cuddle up on the sofa with her foster parents. Simone has a permanent wink since her eye was removed, it requires no further care and doesn't affect her in any way. Simone has lots of love to give and is looking for her new furrever family.

Story
Oscar is an 11 month old kitty who is definitely NOT a grouch! He is very affectionate and is happiest curled up next to someone when he isn't playing and exploring. He enjoys playing with the other cats and kittens in his foster home and anything is considered a toy. He likes spring toys, crinkle balls, and cat trees. Oscar also gets along with both large and small dogs who are respectful of cats.
