Story

Tuna is a good loving hard headed girl. She is a great cat. Her only downfall is she doesn’t get along with my older cat and our dogs. When she becomes stressed from my older cat she will find a spot to pee. She needs someone who is looking for 1 cat and has experience owning cats. We have had her for 2 years hoping she will eventually become less stressed but unfortunately our home isn’t the most relaxing. She is 4 years old and has already been rehomed once before so if you would like to meet her please contact me and we can talk about if your home is a good fit.

Story

Sophie is a 12 yr old gray/brown senior tabby, half bobtail. We’ve had her since she was a kitten. She is very independent and likes to go her own way. She has spent nearly all her days and nights outside. She comes in to eat twice a day and otherwise wants to be outside on her own in our fenced yard but she does not wander far. We get her inside in rough or cold weather. She likes to sit on our porch and watch the world. Her lifelong dream is to be a barn cat or spend as much time as she can outdoors. She is a good hunter of mice, rats, voles and moles. She would need acclimating and will let you know at first she does not like it. She uses litter and outdoors. She gets along with dogs and other cats basically ignoring them. We love her but at our age we are moving to senior living and can’t take her with us. She has regular vet checks, spayed, and is up to date on all vaccines, FEV neg, monthly flea and tick management. Please consider giving Sophie a loving home.

While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.Meet Sophia.  This small Tuxedo lady with her white paws, a white chin and bib is a very confident kitty who won't let her siblings boss her around.   Maybe she had to learn at an early age to stand up for herself when she was abandoned with her mother and brothers in an old tumbled down shack.  She loves to play and investigate, chase her playmates and hide under chairs and then pounce on whoever comes by.  When she finally gets tired, Sophia likes to curl up close to her person and purr until she finally falls asleep. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.Meet Aran, an almost completely black kitty with a white dot on her her left upper jaw, a white bib and white paws.  She was found huddled together with her sister Jersey at the side of a road, the mother a short distance away run over by a vehicle.  Thankfully a RORR volunteer saw them and brought both kittens to the Cattery.Aran was very frightened and undernourished.  Her eyes were plastered shut and her breathing was labored.  After medical attention and much TLC, she slowly improved.  It took weeks before she finally started to thrive.  Now she is a happy, active youngster, ready to conquer the world.  She has been tested for Feleuk/FIV (negative), has been spayed and had all of her shots.  The only thing missing is her very own forever home, preferably with her sister or another feline to play with.For more information contact rorrfeline@gmail.com.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 5, 2024, 8:58 am

That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.This handsome black male is Raven.  It is hard to believe that some uncaring farmer dumped him on the side of the road - just a kitten.  When he was found by a RORR volunteer, he had an upper respiratory infection and a terrible oozing eye.  We were not sure whether we could save this little fellow - but he recovered and now he looks like a miniature panther.  He has forgotten his earlier sad life and is a major cuddle bug, wanting to be loved and petted and likes to curl up close to you or on your lap, preferably!Raven has been fully vetted and tested negative for Feleuk/FIV.  He is being fostered in the Columbia, Md. area.  For more information, please contact rorrfeline@gmail.com. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 5, 2024, 8:58 am
