Story
Hi everyone my name is Coraline and if you’re on the lookout for a cutie pie kitten with lots of pizzazz look no further - I’m here! I was born in May 2025 and was pretty sick when impounded at a crowded shelter. That put me at risk but thankfully my foster mom quickly scooped me up, fixed me up and showered me with affection and good groceries. I’m a social little gal so will tell you all about my day while seeking attention and I get along great with other cats, nice dogs and fun children. As a high-energy kitten I need to have an active kitty buddy to romp with to help keep me out of mischief :) My motto could be “let me entertain you” and if that sounds purrfect for your family I’d love to audition!  The cat adoption fee is $120 (or $190 for two cats). Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Clear Lake Petco (2410 Bay Area Blvd, Houston 77058). If interested in one of our cats please feel free to complete an application, found on our website www.secondchancepets.org, and email it to us at pets2adopt@yahoo.com for pre-review. Story
Meet Binx 🤍🤎 This four-month-old brown tabby boy, complete with handsome stripes and an adorable little white chin, has already shown just how resilient a tiny kitten can be. Like his sister, Binx’s story began in a trailer park, where life started out uncertain. But through it all, he’s kept his gentle heart and sweet nature. Binx is cuddly and comfortable being handled, happily accepting pets and snuggles once he feels safe. He can be a bit shy at first and likes a moment to observe his surroundings, but his independent streak helps him adjust and build confidence at his own pace. Give him a little patience, and you’ll discover a loving, loyal companion. He gets along well with other cats and is comfortable around respectful dogs, making him a great addition to a home with other furry friends. Binx has overcome a tough beginning and is ready for a fresh start filled with warmth, safety, and love. Could you be the one to give this sweet boy his happily ever after? 🐾💕

Story
Meet Piper! Piper is a 3-month-old brown tabby boy with charming white paws and a soft, thoughtful expression. One of three brothers, he had a rough start in life, but he’s shown just how resilient a tiny kitten can be. Piper can be a bit shy when meeting new people, taking his time to feel safe—but once he does, he melts into the sweetest cuddle buddy. He loves gentle pets, cozy hideaways, and quiet moments by your side. While he enjoys affection, Piper also has an independent streak and is happy to explore or entertain himself. This tender little survivor is ready to find a patient, loving home where he can truly shine.

Story
Dusty is a young male kitty with unique BLUE eyes, which we think come from a Siamese mother. He has light tan tabby stripes, and is about a year old. He is shy, having lived as a community cat for a while, but allows us to pet him gently, especially when eating. He has a healthy appetite for both wet and dry food, and is not a picky eater. We are working on more trust and petting, before working on trust to pick him gently and slowly up in the future. He is newly and vaccinated as of June 4th, and tests FIV/FeLV negative (a good thing). To fill out our brief, no-obligation application, go to www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PALC/Cat
