SWEET GUY   DOB 2/20/23 Meet Aster – The Acro-Cat of Your Dreams! Aster isn’t just a handsome brown tabby with striking stripes and soulful eyes -- he’s a feline with flair and a heart full of wonder. Equal parts athlete and goofball, this curious boy can turn a cardboard box into a stage and a windowsill into a highwire act. With graceful leaps and daring climbs, Aster trains daily for his dream role as the first-ever cat acrobat in Cirque du Soleil (or at least the living-room version). But beneath the flips and funny antics is a sweet soul who loves a cozy cuddle after a big performance. He’ll curl up beside you, purring softly, recharging his energy for tomorrow’s adventures. Are you looking for a little magic in your life? Adopt Aster and let the show begin. Although they're available separately, consider adopting him with his twin brother Iris. Any two boys who are both named after a flower are understandably bonded and deserve to stay together! HOPE ID 22-0527-G151 If you are interested in Aster and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started.  If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site this feline will be this week-end, email us at hope@homelesspets.net , and a volunteer will get back to you. SO SMART!  DOB 4/14/24 Meet Chandler, a supremely confident kitten who's brimming with intelligence. This guy is a quick learner and was the first of his litter to master new challenges. Chandler is outgoing, friendly and lives to be taught new things. He is, of course, litter-box and scratching-post trained. He can play fetch if given some incentive. Meet Chandler and see what he can do. HOPE ID 24-0615-J020 If you are interested in Chandler and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . LOVES TO CUDDLE, PLAY, AND ENTERTAIN  DOB 5/18/22 Hey there, everyone! I’m Mikey, a sweet, friendly, curious, playful, and entertaining “bicolor,” which means that I'm mostly white with grey tabby on my head, back, and tail. I got my name from a 1972 Quaker Oaks “Mikey Likes It” commercial of a toddler who would “eat anything.” That’s me, and I’m not ashamed at all! There are cats starving in China, so no food should be tossed out! You see, my family moved out of their apartment and left me behind to fend for myself outside. I’m a happy-go-lucky kind of guy, so I made the best of my situation. I enjoyed climbing trees, chasing squirrels, and following folks when they walked their dogs. I assumed that an open apartment door was an invitation for me to mosey on in, and everyone adored me. Only problem was, nobody wanted to adopt a stray cat, which is what I really wanted. So “I ate anything” until my future foster meowmy decided that she wanted to foster me until she could find me my forever home with a family who’d never abandon me again. Here I am in my foster home, happy as a lark with the other kitties. I love to cuddle beside Foster Meowmy as we binge on Netflix and Animal Planet, and when she heads for bed, I curl up at her feet. And boy howdy! I love to entertain my hoomans when we interactively play with feather wand-toys and laser pointers as well as when I play soccer with my crinkle balls and catnip mice. I’d be a great kids’ playmate as long as they knew that I don’t like to be picked up. Arrange to meet me today! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a kitty like me who’s past the stage of kitten mayhem. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your treasured accessories. HOPE ID 23-1118-S004 Mikey's $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. Free Willy! A quirky looking boy because of my cleft lip/nose, I’m as sweet as southern iced tea! Luckily, I’ve been checked out and am NOT special needs—I eat, play, and cuddle just fine. Cuddling and chilling on human laps are two of my specialties. Found as an orphan like the orca in the movie, Free Willy, I was quick to form a bond with my humans. I’m now looking to form a long lasting friendship with my adopters and forever home! I get along with other cats (and probably dogs too). So FREE WILLY—take me home today! I’ll be warming your lap and heart in no time. -Reach out ASAP. -Or arrange to see me at Petsmart 2902 S Shepherd Sat and Sun 1130-4p.

Story
ENDEARING MISCHIEF-MAKER  DOB 4/13/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Jupiter, an extremely playful and affectionate orange tabby fella who likes to jump on Foster Meowmy’s lap when she’s sitting on the toilet. I’m almost always happy to be cuddled and held like a baby with my tummy up. I’m all-boy, you know, and I can’t mess up my macho image by being too mushy and babyish. After my feral momma birthed Karma, Opal, Pluto, and me outside of Foster Meowmy’s house, she moved us to inside a neighbor’s car (through the open window, I might add). Then Meowmy moved us to a box on her porch, but when Momma saw some neighbors pick us up, she moved us a few doors down to a used-car business. Imagine Foster Meowmy’s surprise when she looked inside an old car and found not only us under the driver’s seat but also another litter of four kittens under the passenger’s seat!! She gathered up both of our stowaway litters and carefully placed us in boxes on her porch so that we could safely nurse. Our mommas continued to move us multiple times, and Foster Meowmy always managed to find us and put us back in our weaning boxes. Finally, when we were five weeks old and could eat on our own, Foster Meowmy brought us all inside to the safe haven of her home where she could care for all of us. She even was the perfect feline Florence Nightingale when she administered antibiotic ointment to some of our crusty eyes. Now that we’re fat and sassy, you can imagine the kitten mayhem that goes on inside our big foster bathroom! We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. I even enjoy playing with the resident two-year-old cat. We’ve all got a little mischief in our genes because we love to escape the foster bathroom, but Opal and I win the prize for impishness because we like to dart around to explore the whole house and not just Foster Meowmy’s bedroom.  I love to sleep in the bathroom sink because it’s my favorite “bed” when I need a little “time out” from the kitten frenzy.  I love Foster Meowmy and am so grateful that she gave me a chance at the fabulous indoor life of a pampered pet. Now I’m ready to bring my “snips-and-snails-and-puppydog-tails” boyishness and rowdy playfulness to my forever family. Arrange to meet me today, and if you’re looking for a pair of kittens, please consider adopting me with one of the other seven #car-stowaways. We think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together so we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. HOPE ID 25-0614-A044 Jupiter’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. Story
ADORABLE LITTLE MISCHIEF-MAKERS  DOB 3/29/25 Hey there, everyone! We’re Florence and Frida, an inseparable pair of almost-identical tortoiseshell twin sisters. Our foster pawrents tell us apart because I (Frida) have white mittens on my front paws and high white boots on my back legs as well as a splash or apricot on my forehead. We were born in foster care to a stray momma who had been rescued, so we've been handled a lot from the get-go. We both love it when our foster pawrents lavish us with loving attention. In fact, we expect to be cooed over! Once I (Florence) got comfy with my foster hoomans' coddling me, I was the first to vocalize my complaint when I noticed that they weren’t focusing enough on us; however, now I (Frida) am not afraid to add my voice to the choir in demanding more attention when we’ve been ignored. I (Frida) am the leader of the two of us, so I’m usually the first to investigate new experiences, and I (Florence) usually follow not far behind. Our foster pawrents call us their little troublemakers, and we are making an effort to learn our boundaries and restrictions. It’s difficult to find us when we’re not together. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. Now we’re ready to bring our frenetic kitten energy, sociability, and mischief-making to our forever family. Could that be you? Our foster pawrents are insisting that we be adopted together so we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while our hoomans are at work or on vacation. We promise to be more fun than a barrel of monkeys! Arrange to meet us today!! HOPE ID 25-0511-G093, G094 Florence & Frida’s $250 bonded-pair adoption fee includes spay/neuter basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.
