Story

Rusty started visiting my home in November 2024. Feral and unsocial but I was able to trap him and have him neutered and vaccinated in April 2025. I’ve worked with him since then to socialize him. He has become more trusting and I can now hold him and pet him, he loves to be petted, comes inside my home for short visits and engages well. He is friendly with other cat friendly cats. He sleeps on my front porch in a little heated home. He is still skittish with strangers but will warm up. He needs someone experienced with cats to adopt him. I believe he can be an indoor only boy with patience on his adopter’s part. He is healthy, handsome, 2-3 years old, fully vaccinated, neutered, on flea and tick prevention, and weighs 10.4 pounds. He would love to be adopted.
