Story
I am bonded to Opie, and we need to go home together! I am a very friendly cat who absolutely loves attention. I came from a hoarding situation with over 40 cats, so I get along great with other cats in the home. I am on a prescription diet (EN) to control GI issues. I am also prone to overgrooming, so my hair is thin on my back end. I am a very sweet cat who would like nothing better than to be your new best friend! I am currently in foster, so if you are interested in adoption, please reach out to adoptions@angelsofassisi.org to set up a meet and greet!

Story
This gentle senior lady is learning that people aren’t so bad after all. While she still prefers to keep her distance, Zirra has started approaching trusted humans when tasty treats are involved. She’s not yet ready for pets or cuddles, but she’s not aggressive—just shy—and may choose to retreat to a quiet hiding spot when she feels unsure. With her toothless smile and calm demeanor, Zirra is simply looking for a patient, understanding home that will let her come out of her shell at her own pace. If you have a soft spot for the overlooked and the time to earn her trust, Zirra might just be your perfect match.

Story
This beautiful senior seal point is a gentle soul with a quiet spirit. Meredith is living with FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), which simply means her immune system is a bit weaker than average. With regular vet care, a healthy diet, and a safe indoor life, cats with FIV can live long, happy lives just like other cats. FIV is not contagious to humans or other species, and it is only spread to other cats through deep bite wounds. Meredith is timid, preferring to keep a safe distance until she feels comfortable, but she’s never aggressive. She loves treats and will eagerly approach when she hears the bag crinkle, and she is gradually opening herself up to pets. Meredith is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can feel safe, take her time to settle in, and be loved just as she is.
