Story
Widget is a smart, affectionate and energetic cat who will be turning 5 this fall. He loves to play- his favorite toys are the laser pointer and a tape measure. He also loves cuddles- but not on your lap, right on your chest near your face! While Widget gets along well with our older cat, he is always ready for more playtime than our older cat can handle. We have a two year old and are having another baby soon, so our busy family just cant give Widget the attention and play sessions he deserves anymore. We are also touched out so dont have much left for cuddles either. Though I will note he has always been good and patient with my son- even when my son has got a fistful of his fur and I have to run to the rescue. We are looking for a loving home where Widget can get the engagement and cuddles that will let his personality shine. The perfect match would be someone with time for regular play and cozy snuggles with this smart, affectionate guy!

Story
This gorgeous grey girl is Dizzy, a 3-4-year-old sweetheart with a heart full of love! She is incredibly affectionate, loves cuddles, and enjoys being around people, including kids and other animals. She was left outside to fend for herself, so I took her in and am helping her to find her fur-ever home. Dizzy has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), a neurological condition that affects her coordination. While she has some limitations, she doesn't let it slow her down just like any other cat when it comes to love, play, and companionship! CH is not painful or progressive, and she just needs a home that understands her unique charm. This sweet little girl was left outside to fend for herself, so I took her in to help her to find her fur-ever home. She would thrive in a safe, indoor-only home where she can continue to live a happy and fulfilling life. If you're looking for a special cat who will shower you with affection and bring joy to your home, Dizzy is the perfect match!

Story
Grim has already lived through more than most cats ever will—and he’s come out stronger, sweeter, and more full of life than anyone could have imagined. In March, Grim was found dehydrated, starving, and with an injured paw. He was barely clinging to life. But even at his weakest, he had a spark—the will to live. And with care, love, and time, that spark became a flame. Grim is healthy, healing, and thriving, though his paw is still in recovery. Despite everything he’s been through, Grim is gentle, resilient, and affectionate. He has a quiet strength and a calm presence that draws people in. He may be a bit reserved at first, but once he knows you’re safe, he leans into affection and enjoys being close. He’s still regaining confidence in the world, but he’s ready to find a home where he’ll never have to struggle again. Grim is: • Healing and doing well • Gentle, loving, and resilient • Grateful for affection and comfort • A quiet soul looking for a peaceful, forever home Grim’s story is one of survival, hope, and second chances. Could you be the happy ending he’s been fighting for? Email adoptpetersburg@gmail.com to meet Grim and give this brave cat the loving future he deserves.

Story
Two brothers. Two personalities. One forever home needed. Plato and Socrates are a bonded pair of young male cats who prove that opposites really do attract. These sweet brothers are looking for a loving home where they can grow, thrive, and stay together forever. Plato is the affectionate one—he’s curious, cuddly, and quick to purr. He’ll follow you around the house, ready for snuggles or playtime at a moment’s notice. He’s a true philosopher of love! Socrates is more reserved. He’s shy at first, preferring to observe from a distance before warming up. But once he feels safe, he finds comfort in the company of his brother—and gentle humans, too. Patience and kindness will help him blossom. Together, they balance each other perfectly. Plato gives Socrates the confidence to explore, and Socrates brings out Plato’s gentle, nurturing side. They enjoy cozy naps, watching birds from the window, and curling up next to each other for comfort. They’ve been through a lot together, and they’re ready to begin their next chapter—with you. Bonus: Plato and Socrates previously lived with a dog and did well with their canine roommate—so they may be a good match for a calm, cat-savvy dog. Ideal Home: • Quiet or moderately active household • Someone with patience to help Socrates feel safe • A loving adopter who understands the magic of bonded pets Adopting these two means double the love, double the charm, and a lifetime of brotherly cuteness. Interested? Email us at adoptpetersburg@gmail.com to meet Plato & Socrates and find out just how rewarding it is to welcome two bonded best friends into your heart.
